"A thoroughly enjoyable stay! The hotel is super centrally located and perfect for exploring Cologne on foot. The breakfast was – as always – outstanding: a great selection, fresh and delicious. The friendly and attentive staff really stood out and made the stay even more pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I'd happily come back again and can definitely recommend the hotel!"

"Stayed as a couple at Club King Double room for 5 nights during the Amphi Festival. Pros: - Unbeatable location, walking distance to everything while not within the Old Town which is way too touristy. Five-minute walk from the train that takes you straight to the airport. - Room 99% soundproof, very private and peaceful (stayed at the Club floor, 6/6). - Amazing bed. - Full-size working desk in the room. - Daytime service very professional, helpful, and friendly. - The Club Floor lounge has it's own very good breakfast buffet (included with the Club rooms at no extra cost - apart from the higher cost of the Club room itself - so you might skip paying extra for the regular breakfast at the restaurant). Also daytime tea with cake and an evening snack are served as well. The snack could become your legitimate dinner if you need it, as there are hot options and appetizers. Amazing view of the cathedral from the Lounge. - The food was amazing. Cons: - The night shift staff is not at the same level as the day shift, so try to resolve your matters during the day. - Some visible wear and tear in the room (not important to me, but might bother some who expect everything to be 100% at this price point). Overall: - Highly recommend, would stay again."

"We had a great 3 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location, approx 10 minutes walk to the old town / river etc. There are also lots of options nearby for morning coffee, pastries, drinks etc. The room was excellent. The hotel is spotless, room was very comfortable, good air con, and a lovely touch with nespresso coffee machine in each room along with a small minibar that is included as part of your stay and re-stocked. A really nice touch - thank you. All in all cannot fault and would highly recommend."

"This hotel in Cologne had a great location! While not right in the city center, it was still within walking distance and felt a bit quieter and more peaceful than being right in the hustle and bustle. We stayed during a heatwave, so the free lemon-infused iced water in the lobby was an absolute godsend. Plus, the rooftop view was amazing, with clear sights of famous landmarks!"

"The pictures don't match the actual product (the lighting in the first picture is confusing, while the second is from Ctrip). The room was incredibly small, comparable to Hong Kong and Japan, but Ctrip's final handling was acceptable. Check-in only starts at 3:00 AM, and the front desk was very impatient when we didn't check in after 2:00 AM. However, the hotel also has some good points, such as the free coffee and seating, which allowed you to enjoy a piece of bread with your coffee. The garage is quite poor, with low roof beams, so you might bump into it when opening the trunk, so be extra careful. Cologne is quite nice, perfect for strolling around and eating out cheaply."

"Facilities: The room facilities are relatively new and include an electric kettle. Hygiene: The hygiene is good. Environment: The overall environment is excellent. It's less than an 8-minute walk from the station. From my high-floor room, I could see the top of the church. It's also a very short walk to the church, about 5-10 minutes. Service: The overall service is good, and the staff are very patient. There are a few steps from the lobby to the elevators, but there's a small lift available to help with luggage, which is a very thoughtful touch."

"This hotel's Cologne Cathedral view is absolutely breathtaking, but what was equally impressive were the location, service, and cleanliness. When I first arrived from the train station, I foolishly didn't look up the route properly and ended up dragging my heavy luggage up and down stairs, when I could have avoided them by taking a different path. Despite the difficult journey to the hotel, the staff greeted us so warmly and genuinely wished my sister a happy birthday that all my weariness turned into joy. And when we got to the room, we were greeted with such an amazing view and a beautiful room! Thanks to this, we had a wonderful time in Cologne for two days, listening to the bells of Cologne Cathedral. When checking out and heading back to the train station, I followed the staff's directions and found a flat, easy route back. Oh, the only minor inconveniences were the opaque glass in the bathroom and having to shower in the bathtub."

"Don’t stay here in summer it’s absolute hell. It doesn’t have any working air con regardless of what they say and the room is 28-30c at night! The hotel owners need to spend a few million euros overhauling the entire system and it’s obvious they won’t ever do that Sadly because of this the front desk staff bare the brunt of complaints therefore creating a toxic work environment the room itself is nice but sadly would never book again during summer months"

"Hotel location is good about 10 to 15 min walk from Köln Hbf station on mostly flat ground. Room was spacious with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body lotion provided. Tea & coffee and kettle also provided. But only 1carton (500ml) of water provided daily for two people which I feel was too little and no fridge in the room. Also bed and pillow was too soft with no support for neck and back.. Overall stay was pleasant"
