"First time I've stayed here. I was aware of the mixed reviews & I've stayed at other hotels in Chermie but they were booked out on this occasion. It was raining heavily when I arrived so appreciated the undercover parking spaces immediately outside the reception. Check-in was seamless (thx Trip.com) & they didn't require a security deposit or CC scan so my customer trust box was ticked :-) The car park is secure & at ground level but spaces are limited; I was able to find a spot though at 4pm. There is public parking out on the street without restriction after 5pm. I had a Hotel Queen Room on the 2nd floor. Easy access via lift and the common areas were clean & well lit. The room and bathroom were clean with a pleasant aroma & no smell of mould (reported by others), air-con was on. I had a choice of two sliding doors to access the balcony so good for fresh air (but no insect screen). Overall, the room was comfortable whilst showing some signs of wear & tear. The shower had a choice of either hand-held or fixed head (rainforest type) & had plenty of pressure - great. I would recommend bringing your own toiletries, unless you're happy with generic multi-function liquid soap! The fridge was empty except for a small uht milk with no complimentary springwater or mini-bar that you might find in other hotels. There was TV, tea/coffee making supplies and a small microwave. If you like to sleep in complete darkness (like me), bring an eye-mask as the hallway lighting outside the room is bright & on all night, creating an aura around the front door that is hard not to notice. The area was relatively quiet with the hotel located on a side street. It's an easy & short walk to a major shopping centre and the bus station if you need to head into Briz City, which is a 20-30min ride away & only $0.50 fare - awesome. Breakfast (from 7am) was also included but I had to head-off early so wasn't able to grab a bite this time. In summary, I felt that the room rate was appropriate and score my overall experience as good."

"The 63rd-floor view was absolutely amazing, offering a wide-open panorama that was simply the best. My two-night stay was perfectly comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment is right in front of the Botanic Gardens, which was great for morning strolls and exercise. Its convenient location also made it easy to walk to various places. The staff were friendly. However, the cleanliness of the room was not good and definitely needs improvement – seriously! There was a lot of dust, and the dishes and cooking utensils weren't thoroughly cleaned. This was a significant disappointment!"

"Everything excellent apart from dishwashing facilities. Provided with a sponge pad and not a brush meant no handle, resulting in not able to give utensils a good wash, and putting hands into hot water. Otherwise NO problems. TV programmes available pretty poor options - or is this a Brisbane problem??"

"The room was very clean, and the female front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful. We were given slippers for free, and the complimentary coffee was delicious. Since it was Christmas, the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, which made it very convenient."

"High cost performance, downstairs is the supermarket, close to the train station, the front desk is very warm, the original about 8 o'clock in the morning to go to the airport, and later started early, I want to leave early, told the front desk to get it right away, a few minutes will arrive."

"We stayed in the 2 bedrooms apartment. Nice and spacious. Centrally located, walking distance to the shops and direct bridge access to South Bank which is nice for walks, playground for kids and museum. Kitchen has everything you need and a washer/dryer. Has a balcony for relaxing and drying clothes also. Only negatives are 1) the blinds are so poorly designed (cheap). Have to manually draw up/down the blinds, 3-4 in each bedroom. Not blackout rooms, very bright in the morning. 2) no daily housekeeping, didn't mention in my booking. This is a service apartment, not hotel. With the white walls design, this hotel will be aged very quickly unless they keep up with the paint job. Overall, recommended if you need more space and don't require any luxury hotel feeling. Practical"

"No breakfast, no extra bed, 1.3 km from the city center, about 20 minutes walk, a few minutes by car, a bit noisy on weekend nights. There is a newly opened restaurant based on Chinese and Japanese food, and the taste is OK. There is a washing machine and dryer in the hotel room, which can be used for cooking. It is very convenient."
