The apartment was very spacious - 2 large bedrooms and 2 spacious bathrooms, an open plan kitchen - living area - with a dining table and a large balcony. The appliances all worked and there was sufficient crockery and cutlery. The cleanliness, as others have commented, could be improved. I took a large amount of hair out of the shower drain on arrival but that was the worst of it. As with many other apartment stays I have experienced, there is not enough dishwashing liquid/powder/soap provided to get through the whole week which is frustrating. The location is close to the train station and several food outlets. However, the area around the train station is run down and there are a lot of homeless people, which made it feel slighlty unsafe after dark. Staff were very helpful when needed and we experienced no issues with service.

Guest UserOur stay at Madison Tower Mill Hotel was comfortable and convenient. The hotel is located close to the Brisbane CBD, Roma Street Station, and Central Station, making it easy to get around. There is also a City Loop bus stop right next to the hotel, which is very handy.
One downside is that the hotel is situated on a hill, so there are quite a few steep walks and stairs when returning to the property. The hotel also provides limited amenities, no toiletries, and no slippers provided, meaning guests need to walk barefoot on the cold floor.
The room size was okay but comfortable, with enough space for four people to move around without feeling cramped. Overall, it is a good option for travellers looking for a convenient location close to public transport and the city centre.

JC_HVB_SunnyLocation is great in the heart of Sunnybank district and best price you can get in the area.
Check-in took a bit longer than expected, but not a big deal
We have stayed here before and we know the accommodation units are a bit aged, so didn't want to be too picky about it as we liked the convenience of it.
However, this time we have to speak out...
First thing after entering the room was a Big Welcome from a few big cockroaches!!! Then when we inspected the shower there also had some little ones hanging around!!!
I had to physically demolish them all before we can put ourselves to bed. But my wife got put off quite a bit, didn't want to use the shower as it was contaminated by bugs, also felt uneased after getting on to bed, took a while to put her to sleep.
So in conclusion, even though the price was cheap, but the quality of the accommodation is not quite acceptable. Don't think we'll return to this place again in the future!

I was fooled by the name of the Holiday Inn, like a temporary building in a residential resettlement area, located at the entrance of the community, also on the second floor, and you have to carry your luggage upstairs. Not far from the supermarket.

Room was very large and beds were comfortable. It was cold when we arrived and the air con had been put on so it was marvellous walking into a warm room. Very happy overall.

I am been staying at this property for many years, when I stay, I normally stay 1 to 2 weeks duration. I just completed my 2nd 2 week stay in 3 months and they send you and email saying check out is 1pm, but then they send you and SMS that check out is 10am. It is 10am, but for the first time in more than 5 years staying here I asked for a 1 hour extension but they wanted to charge me, just when I had stayed 2 weeks. Wasn't worth fighting just find a new property next time. I had to call their Philippines call centre just to get the rubbish removed and my room cleaned after more than 1 week as no one had bothered and the housekeeping staff just ignored my request. For the rubbish, I had to get a bag from the housekeeping staff and remove it myself after dragging the rubbish bins into the hallway. No customer loyalty given to long stay and frequent customers.

Anonymous UserIt’s a minimalistic hotel, but in saying that it is what you pay for. It is great location very close to the city Valley and WooloonGabba. Very affordable discreet and very flexible with checking times. Front desk is not always manned but upon a phone call they are there in a jiffy. My first day wasn’t the greatest but I’ve had much better days since then and it depends on the rooms that you get but most of them are very very cozy. They have air-conditioning a bathroom and an ample space for two or a family of three with small child . also has a fridge and hot water. there’s a front and a back entrance and ample street parking as well as small amount of parking at the back you can come and go as you please without being harassed by front desk staff. It is ideal if you’re a night owl . on average I would give them 3 1/2 out of five stars however my most recent chips are probably 4 out of 5.
