"Great for convenience close to ferry terminal had everything you could have for a lovely short stay. no toaster in kitchen plus it has a sign stating if you set smoke alarm off you will incur a $1500 fine which is fair enough. I feel like a kitchen without a toaster doesn’t make it a complete kitchen. Also traffic sound comes through both glass doors."

"We checked in to the Ovolo to celebrate our honeymoon in Brisbane. Our room was really spacious and had an Alexa speaker playing music which was great. Bed was large and comfortable. Problem we encountered with the hotel was that the heavily advertised roof top pool and amenities were closed due to refurbishments which we were disappointed with. No. We weren’t informed at check in and it is listed as an amenity of the hotel, and a factor in us choosing here. We found a used condom wrapper on check out under the bed which was unhygienic from housekeeping, but at that point we were ready for departure so didn’t complain to the front desk. Location of the property is surrounded by plenty of eateries and coffee shops, and the attached Kasba restaurant served breakfast which was lovely and we used them for lunch as well. Travel into the CBD is about a 25 minute walk."

"The location is fantastic! It's very close to the train station, bus station, and ferry terminal, and just a 3-minute walk to South Bank Park. Service: I really have to complain about the service. I booked for four nights, and on one of those days, the room wasn't cleaned, even after I specifically reminded the front desk. The cleaning generally was quite sloppy; tea-stained cups weren't replaced, with tea stains clearly visible, and the bathroom faucet was covered in water marks. We were quite surprised to find such service and hygiene standards in a hotel of this caliber. Breakfast is à la carte with limited portions, one Western-style breakfast per person, which isn't really suitable for Chinese palates. We asked the hotel if we could cancel breakfast for the last two days, and they replied that it wasn't an issue for the hotel, but since we booked online, we'd need to coordinate with the third-party booking site. Although Trip.com actively tried to mediate, the hotel still refused. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to Chinese travelers."

The toilet was not clean, and the bed sheets and quilt covers were also extremely dirty. The quilt cover was just two sheets wrapped together. You can stipulate that cleaning is not done every day, but before checking in, can you at least ensure that the room is clean and tidy, and that there is no foul odor on the floor? For specific hygiene, just look at the Google reviews."

"1. The room is spacious 2. You can cook, so you can eat cheap meat often 3. The bedding is damp 4. The cleaning is very, very bad (On the first day, they only emptied the trash can, and after that, they didn't even clean up the trash) 5. They never listened to my requests (I asked them to change the bedding, but they didn't change it even once for 4 days) 6. The noise is very, very bad (cars, airplanes, people) 7. The shower is not good (the water temperature goes up and down) 8. The pictures I saw before booking and the actual facility I saw when I went there felt a little different."
