"Here are the pros: The location is good; you just walk past a couple of buildings, and the beach is right there. However, if you want sun loungers and amenities, you'll need to walk a bit further.
The bidet is a nice touch, so thanks for that :)
The room itself is clean and has a pleasant interior. And that's pretty much where the good stuff ends.
Now, for the cons, which are far more numerous: You can tell the hotel has seen better days. The plumbing is practically begging to be replaced. Adjusting the water temperature is a real challenge – it's either scalding hot or there's no hot water at all.
The main issue, which has been mentioned by others, is that you can hear EVERYTHING in this room. Your neighbors sound like they're in the same room as you. You can hear them talking, and you can hear them banging pots and pans at 4 AM (why? for what reason?). You can literally hear every sneeze. Please, don't make our mistake of thinking that maybe people are just being overly critical about the soundproofing in the comments. Even the construction outside our window didn't bother us; we actually couldn't hear that. But we could hear everyone else.
Smokers smoke on their balconies, so naturally, you can't sit out there without smelling smoke.
Another very disappointing thing was our early arrival. We were told that early check-in wasn't possible because the rooms weren't ready. We could leave our bags, and they'd notify us once everything was prepared. But no one ever wrote to us. We spent half the day wandering around in limbo, wanting to shower and change, but we were just tired from the flight and waiting for 'something.' At 2:50 PM, we returned to the hotel (check-in time here is 3:00 PM, for those who don't know), but they told us, 'No, wait until 3:00 PM.' We were shocked and stood there for another 10 minutes, and exactly at 3:00 PM, they handed us the keys. Seriously, what was the point of that useless formality? 10 MINUTES! I can only conclude that they never intended to write to us to check us in earlier. We would have paid extra, but for some reason, the hotel just decided to make us suffer.
So, this hotel is definitely not worth the price they charge. The pond with fish doesn't make up for the hotel's dilapidated state."
