Pros:
1. The hotel's natural environment is excellent, offering sightings of incredibly rare protected animals. They also provide a free wildlife tour, which I highly recommend. It's a fantastic experience to simply walk around the hotel and spot monkeys foraging.
2. The service is outstanding. The hotel staff are attentive and very considerate of guests. The welcome drink was delicious. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and I received a room upgrade with a great view and a spacious layout.
3. The slippers were very comfortable. The breakfast tableware was exquisite.
Cons for me:
1. The claim of being the 'most beautiful Intercontinental' is an exaggeration. Some areas even felt [as pictured], though I suppose one could call it 'unique.' Personally, I found it gaudy.
2. I strongly recommend including executive lounge access. If you arrive early, since there's no air conditioning in the public areas, the only cool indoor space to relax is the executive lounge. Otherwise, you're stuck waiting in the hotel lobby, and elderly guests and children need to be careful to avoid heatstroke.
3. The breakfast was delicious, and the fruit quality was high. However, it's baffling why the other restaurants were so bad. After reading reviews that even the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant wasn't great, I booked a package that included dinner. I paid extra to change the dishes, but they were still terrible. It was arguably the worst meal I had in Vietnam.
4. Although the hotel was uncrowded and had a good environment, the beach quality was very average, and the loungers by the sea started closing down every day at 6 PM.
In summary, I think this Intercontinental is worth staying at, but don't go in with exceptionally high expectations.

Guest UserThis was a hotel that I spent a long time researching before booking. It had excellent reviews and a very high rating online. Unfortunately, my experience was a case of “looks great from a distance, but not quite as impressive up close.”
Let me start with the positives.
The lobby is beautiful, with a charming vintage design that creates a great first impression. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and communicated well in English. Upon arrival, we were offered cold towels and refreshing welcome drinks, which was a nice touch after a long journey.
We decided to have lunch at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was average—not particularly memorable, but enough to satisfy our hunger.
The staff escorted us and our luggage to the room. At first glance, the room looked acceptable, but as someone who is quite particular about cleanliness, I quickly noticed a significant amount of dust on various surfaces. I tried not to dwell on it because, for me, the most important thing is a clean and comfortable bed.
Unfortunately, that night became the worst part of our stay.
I barely slept during my first night. Throughout the night, I felt as though something was biting my skin, and I found myself constantly scratching. It was extremely uncomfortable and frustrating.
The following morning during breakfast, a staff member kindly asked how we had slept. I honestly explained my experience and mentioned that I felt I had been bitten by something during the night. I requested that the bed linens be changed.
To their credit, the staff responded immediately. They informed the front desk, and shortly afterwards a manager came to speak with us personally, apologised sincerely, and arranged for a deep cleaning of our room. At that moment, I truly appreciated their attitude because they made me feel that they genuinely cared and were actively trying to solve the problem.
We then left for our day of sightseeing.
When we returned to the hotel that afternoon, I was genuinely surprised. The room felt completely different from the day before. It smelled fresh and clean, every surface had been thoroughly wiped down, the floors were spotless, and even the musty smell that I had previously noticed was gone. The room finally felt as clean as I had expected from a highly rated hotel.
As an additional gesture, the hotel offered me a complimentary 20-minute herbal bath treatment as compensation. I thought that was a thoughtful gesture and appreciated the effort they made to make things right.
Most importantly, I slept wonderfully on the second night.
For service and recovery, I would honestly give the team more than full marks. While the initial issue should not have happened, the way they handled the situation was professional, sincere, and efficient.
As for breakfast, it was decent and perfectly acceptable. There was enough variety, although I believe there is still room for improvement.
I would still recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, with many attractions and the riverside within easy walking distance.
Regarding the facilities, they are all on the smaller side. The swimming pool is beautiful but quite small. The gym is compact, and the children’s playroom is also rather limited in size. None of these were deal-breakers for us, but they are worth noting for future guests.
Overall, while the stay did not start well, the outstanding service recovery and excellent location left a positive final impression. No hotel is perfect, but what matters is how they respond when something goes wrong—and this hotel handled it exceptionally well.

Guest UserCheck-in on the night of June 15th, check-out on June 17th.
I'm writing an honest review to help fellow Koreans.
*Overall, the hotel staff are friendly.*
*The room is quiet with no noticeable noise.*
*The air conditioning is very cold.*
*You can watch YouTube.*
1. This hotel requires a deposit of 1,000,000 VND per night.
Any paid services you use at the hotel (laundry, F&B, etc.) will be deducted from your deposit upon check-out.
Korean guests, please keep this in mind.
2. Late check-out is possible (if the hotel isn't fully booked).
Many people take late-night flights back home.
My flight was at 11 PM, and I extended my check-out until 6 PM for about 1,400,000 VND.
3. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Han Market.
Along the way, you'll find Cong Cafe, 4P's Pizza, and Michelin-starred restaurants. The location is unbeatable.
4. While the rooftop pool isn't huge, the view is great, making it worth using every day.
(However, the food and beverage service from the bar is generally expensive).
Two cocktails can easily set you back 600,000-700,000 VND. I recommend enjoying it once and then finding other bars.
5. The rooftop bar that operates in the evening only sells cocktails, not food.
This is also very expensive.
I recommend trying it once for the experience.
6. The breakfast selection isn't vast, but the quality is above average. This is especially noticeable in the freshly made pho, fried eggs, and omelets, which are excellent. The other buffet items are standard.
I think women would particularly enjoy the breakfast, especially the delicious bread.
7. The room was clean, and the cleaning quality was good, but it seems they don't check the amenity levels. Some were empty and weren't refilled.
8. This was a pleasant surprise: it was my birthday during my stay, and I hadn't mentioned or requested anything, but they still prepared a birthday dessert in my room.
9. There was only one minor disappointment: my girlfriend and I checked in near midnight on June 15th. It's a 5-star hotel, but there was no bellboy to help with our luggage. Perhaps it was due to the late hour? From a service perspective, this was a letdown for a newly built 5-star hotel right from the first impression.
Finally, I've attached photos of the breakfast, and I hope my review helps everyone staying at this hotel.

Ba Nàng Công ChúaMy impression of Risemount was that it felt fresh, modern, and youthful. However, my overall experience did not fully meet my expectations. I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 PM, but there was no greeting at the entrance. At that time, only one receptionist was assisting another guest. While I was carrying my child and two hand-carry suitcases to the counter, a female staff member from another desk kindly came over to help me with the check-in.
After checking in, I was offered a glass of ginger tea with honey. At first, the flavor felt quite strong and slightly spicy, so I thought it might contain a bit of alcohol. After asking, I understood that it was ginger tea with honey, which was a thoughtful welcome drink.
In the room, I noticed a strand of hair in the bathtub, and the showerhead in the standing shower was loose, causing water to splash outside. Together with the bathroom slippers, this made me feel a bit uncomfortable and less safe while using the bathroom. The soundproofing could also be improved, as I could still hear traffic noise and sounds from the neighboring room even with the windows and doors closed.
During the night, I was disturbed by mosquitoes and couldn’t sleep well. At around 2 AM, my daughter, who was very tired after a long day at the beach, had an accident in bed. I tried to contact housekeeping and the reception for assistance, but unfortunately, I could not reach anyone at that time. This was quite inconvenient during our stay.
In addition, although the breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, I personally felt that the presentation and overall setup could be more refined to better match the hotel’s standard.

LyudmillaGood, frequently booked hotel. The staff are very friendly, and it's beachfront. Yes, the beach isn't My Khe (it's a little off to the side), but it's clean with lifeguards and everything you need. The hotel itself is nice; the pool is somewhat enclosed and not very big, but it was perfect for my daughter and me. We had a sea-view room. Breakfasts were decent, not super varied, but had all the essentials. We also liked the rooftop bar – tasty food and an amazing view.

First of all, I would like to give Grandvrio Ocean Resort the highest rating. If you’re planning a trip to Da Nang and looking for a comfortable place to stay, this resort would be my first recommendation. Our stay here was truly one of the highlights of our trip.
Here are the things I loved most about this resort:
1. Exceptional cleanliness
One of the most important parts of any trip is staying in a clean and comfortable hotel, and Grandvrio Ocean Resort exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless, the towels were fresh, and everything was well maintained. It made our stay very comfortable and relaxing.
2. Delicious food with plenty of choices
The resort has several restaurants offering both Asian and Western cuisine, and every meal we had was excellent. There were three breakfast options available, and I highly recommend having breakfast at Coconut Beach while enjoying the beautiful ocean view. The buffet breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes.
If you’re traveling as a couple, don’t miss the Afternoon Tea experience. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy delicious desserts, and spend quality time together in a peaceful atmosphere with excellent service.
3. Great facilities for families
If you’re traveling with children, this resort is a wonderful choice. There are children’s swimming pools and play areas, making it very family-friendly. The swimming pools are open from morning until evening, and lifeguards are always on duty, making us feel safe and well looked after.
4. Wonderful spa experience
If you enjoy massages, the spa offers excellent treatments at very reasonable prices. There is also a private swimming pool exclusively for spa guests, which made the experience even more relaxing.
5. Convenient free shuttle service
The resort provides complimentary shuttle buses to Hoi An Ancient Town and Ba Na Hills, two of the most popular attractions in Da Nang. Having free transportation to these famous destinations was a huge advantage and made sightseeing much easier.
6. Outstanding hospitality
The best part of our stay was definitely the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. Most of the staff spoke English well, so communication was always easy. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home and created wonderful memories that we will never forget.
If I visit Da Nang again, I will definitely choose Grandvrio Ocean Resort without any hesitation. Everything was managed professionally, and every member of the staff made us feel welcome. Thank you for making our stay so special. I wish the entire team continued success, and I hope to visit again in the future!

siggiiThe stay was amazing in every way! New World Hoiana Beach Resort is a beautiful property with lots of amenities and entertainment to choose from. The service was top-notch, the team even put a birthday cake in our room on my birthday! We got a lovely Deluxe room on the 13th floor, overlooking the nearby countryside and the ocean. Breakfast was amazing, with great service and a super wide selection of food options. I also recommend using the complimentary shuttle to get to Hoi An and Da Nang.

GiangpThe highlight of my stay was definitely the spectacular view from the master bedroom of the 2-bedroom apartment. I had a direct view of the Macau vs. Germany fireworks display on June 21, which was absolutely marvelous. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and well equipped, with a washing machine and a functional kitchen. The bed was comfortable and met the standards I’d expect from an international 5-star hotel.
The property is showing its age, however. While everything is generally well maintained, the furnishings feel dated and somewhat inexpensive. The hallways in the apartment tower are also rather dark and can be difficult to navigate.
Service was adequate but unremarkable, nothing particularly stood out, either positively or negatively.
Overall, a comfortable stay with fantastic views and practical apartment-style facilities, though the interiors could benefit from a refresh.

Anonymous UserWhile the hotel's location is a bit out of the way, getting a taxi was quite easy. The air conditioning in the room had issues and wasn't fully fixed even after we reported it. The rooftop infinity pool is definitely the hotel's best feature. Breakfast was decent.

КАРЛЫГАШThis place is perfect for those who love relaxation. It's the best spot for families with kids. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The reception service is excellent; the staff really try their best. The only downside is the language barrier – you'll definitely need a translator. The food gets an 8 out of 10. Everything in the restaurant is lovely, and they have a great selection. Both the kids' and adult pools are excellent. There are 3 restaurants and a nightclub on site. We got an early check-in and a free transfer, plus a fantastic 60-minute massage and a tea ceremony. The Marble Mountains are just a 3-minute walk away (with cafes, souvenir shops, and a mini-market nearby). It's a 20-minute motorbike ride to Hoi An (we went and it was great!). And about 15-20 minutes by Grab bike to Da Nang city center (My Khe Beach). Every day, there's a free, comfortable, air-conditioned car departing from the hotel at 9:00 AM, with a return pick-up at 3:00 PM (you *must* book this in advance). If you're looking for peace, quiet, delicious food, and relaxation, this is the place for you.
