We had a wonderful stay here at this Five star hotel . They upgraded us from a studio to a two bedroom with a balcony. The apartment was spacious , comfortable and clean. The bed was made for a good night sleep. Breakfast buffet was included and it was delightful with lots of choices. On the top floor was the infinitely pool, spa, another lounge with great views of the ocean coastline. Staff was great & spoke English ! We would stay here again!

From the moment we arrived, the resort’s serene Japanese-inspired ambiance enveloped us, blending modern luxury with traditional tranquility, making it the perfect escape for a family vacation. One minor hiccup was needing to change rooms midway through our stay due to our extension, but the staff handled it with impeccable professionalism and grace. True to the renowned Japanese hospitality (omotenashi), they anticipated our needs, ensured a seamless transition with no disruption, and even surprised us with complimentary amenities in the new room. It turned what could have been an inconvenience into a highlight, showcasing their dedication to guest satisfaction. What truly sets this resort apart for families like ours is the incredible array of activities and facilities. The free outdoor water park alone is a dream come true—our kids spent hours splashing around in the slides, lazy rivers, and wave pools, all while we relaxed nearby knowing it was safe and well-maintained. But that’s just the start! The indoor water park provided a fantastic all-weather option, complete with thrilling rides and heated pools that kept the fun going even on a rainy afternoon. We also lounged endlessly by the stunning infinity pool, which offers breathtaking views of the ocean, creating those picture-perfect moments at sunset. Dining was another standout: with five diverse restaurants on-site, we savored everything from authentic Japanese sushi and kaiseki meals to international fusion dishes and fresh seafood grills—each one delivering high-quality, flavorful experiences without ever needing to leave the property. And let’s not forget the private beach access, a pristine stretch of golden sand where we built sandcastles, took leisurely walks, and enjoyed complimentary beachside services like umbrellas and loungers. Overall, Mikazuki Japanese Resort and Spa isn’t just a hotel; it’s a complete destination that outshines any other in Da Nang. The combination of family-friendly thrills, luxurious comforts, and attentive service made our trip magical. I did not expect this hotel to be a plane-spotting hotel with huge reception area but the room where I stayed in has a beautiful and marvellous view of Danang International Airport afar from the hotel, a skyscraper of 23 floors. In the morning, it is heartwarming to me to see aircraft taking off for the sky on the background of runway and high mountain from the spacious room and it is the remarkable point of my vacation. Scenic beauty aside, the complimentary breakfast has plentiful selections of Vietnamese food and fruits to choose from, for example, brown bread, Vietnamese plums and scores of different salads and the hotel is where Singapore Airlines tickeing office is located, providing convenience to tourists. However, there is miscommunication when I checked out. The hotel staff that oversaw the driver that picked me up showed me to a taxi driver instead. He claimed he was waiting for me. I travelled in that taxi to Danang airport. At the airport, I did not expect the driver to say I had not paid for the transfer. I insisted I did and I told him to call the hotel reception. The receptionist was kind enough to admit miscommunication. She said I entered the wrong car and I did not need to pay further. She said she would compensate the driver. That was kind of the receptionist. I hope the outbound transfer arrangement can be done better by telling the guest the car number and driver's name as I thought there was change in driver after I woke up late due to the lack of wake-up call service as expected.

We stayed for 3 nights celebrating Christmas. On a midnight arrival, I was welcomed by the staff and had a smooth checkin. I waited for the buggy to take me to my hotel. The shower was clean and bed was comfortable for a good night sleep. The sound of crashing waves and the ocean front view from my bedroom is a resort style i have asked for! Breakfast buffet had a great selection of local and international food also very delicious. All the staffs were friendly, helpful and humerous. I recommend and will be back.
