As a Cantonese person coming from a city in the twenties (Celsius) to the sub-zero Western Sichuan plateau for the first time, I absolutely had to have some braised yak meat and matsutake chicken soup to warm me up. This hotel was a last-minute, blind pick since I decided to go on a trip spontaneously, and I didn't even check the ratings or anything. I arrived at 3 AM, and the guy at the front desk, who was supposed to finish his shift at midnight, waited for us until past 3 AM. I felt so bad! The room had all the amenities, and the sunlight was fantastic the next morning. In the morning, a lady even made us coffee and recommended some tourist routes. The service was absolutely perfect!!!!
