"The room was spotless, and the toiletries were a thoughtful touch, featuring a niche aromatherapy brand. Everything was well-appointed. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. The service truly stood out; our butler provided attentive and considerate service throughout our stay. We had a beautiful view of Siguniang Mountain's Yaomei Peak, and both the sunrise over the golden peaks and the falling snow were stunning sights."

"I originally booked a queen room, but the owner upgraded us to a twin room so we could see the street view, which was really nice of them! As someone with social anxiety, it was a huge relief. The owner felt like a friendly and genuine local. There's no elevator, but the owner helped us with our luggage, they were truly amazing. Even though it's a guesthouse, it felt more like a hotel in terms of standards; it was very clean and much better than I expected. Most importantly, the room was toasty warm, it had that sunny scent, and felt very safe. There's a restaurant downstairs, and breakfast is free. I especially recommend their yak meat hotpot, it's incredibly fresh and the soup is genuinely delicious. My friend and I couldn't even finish it all, the portions are very generous. Eating that in winter was so warming, it was a truly great experience. I was really touched by how kind the owner was 😭"

"Very cozy and cute accommodation. The food is very pleasing especially Yak hot pot. The owner and staff took good care of the guests. Good suggestions and friendly greetings were provided from them. We didn’t have to do anything about the luggage and the taxi. They dealt with them all. I cordially recommend this stay!! If I come to Mount Siguniang again, I will stay here."

"This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right inside the Shuangqiao Valley scenic area, directly across from Wuse Mountain. The massive floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer incredible views – I even managed to capture a time-lapse of the starry sky at night. The room itself is spacious and well-equipped. Despite sub-zero temperatures outside, the underfloor heating kept the room perfectly warm, with no hint of cold. There's also a bathtub for a relaxing hot soak, and the shower is fantastic. Even the toilet in the bathroom is smart! From a facilities perspective, this hotel is truly flawless. What's more, the service is incredibly thoughtful, and everyone is so welcoming. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit."

"This place completely exceeded our expectations. The room was incredibly clean and beautifully designed, with a very cozy atmosphere that made us feel relaxed the moment we stepped in. The bed was extremely comfortable we slept so well every night. The view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery every morning was truly unforgettable and made the stay even more special. The service was outstanding. The staff were super friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. They took excellent care of us and were always happy to help. They kindly recommended many delicious local restaurants and shared great tips on beautiful places to visit around Rilong, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The location is also very convenient,staff always bring us to wherever we want to go . Overall, this was an amazing stay, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place in Rilong Town. Highly recommended we would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel was a good choice. We really enjoy our stay. The room is very spacious and clean. We love the automatic toilet and the projector with big screen. The location is great, within a walking distance to the street market. The hotel staff were really helpful, helping us with the bus ticket back to Chengdu, without any extra charge, and ptovided us with a taxi service to Shuangqiao Valley with a very reasonable price. Good location, good service, good price, so very recommended!"

"“Staying in a 'healing' hotel on a cliffside in Siguniang Mountain, the experience far exceeded our expectations!” Choosing Vala Toms Cliffside Creek Hotel was arguably the most delightful surprise of our trip. The hotel is located within the scenic area, with stunning cliffs and a stream just outside the window. Waking up felt like being in a cloud-shrouded fairyland. I especially want to thank Ms. Huang from customer service – her service was consistently meticulous and warm from booking to check-out. We felt a bit unwell after arriving at the high-altitude region, and she proactively prepared brown sugar ginger tea and portable oxygen for us, also patiently reminding us about the temperature difference between day and night and hiking precautions. Every time we saw her, she greeted us with a genuine smile, making us feel cared for like family. The food also left a deep impression! I initially thought dining options within a scenic area would be limited, but the hotel restaurant's culinary skills were truly excellent. The yak hot pot was warming and delicious, the highland barley cake was crispy and not greasy, and even the simple stir-fried seasonal vegetables had that authentic 'wok hei' flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was authentic; after a day of hiking, what we looked forward to most was a good meal. If you're coming to Siguniang Mountain, I highly recommend staying here – not just for the breathtaking scenery, but more so for this personal and heartwarming experience. Thank you, Ms. Huang and the team, for your dedication, which allowed us to experience both adventure and peace of mind amidst these magnificent mountains."

"I visited Mount Siguniang by myself during the winter solstice. The hotel facilities are very new. I was experiencing some altitude sickness and originally planned to head back to Chengdu if my body couldn't handle it. However, after staying one night at Vienna Hotel, I slept incredibly well. Being able to rest and use the oxygen provided at the hotel gave me the energy to complete my hiking plans in Changping Valley. Having oxygen is truly crucial in high-altitude areas (extremely important!). The hotel also upgraded me to a snow-view room for free (though there was only snow on the mountain peaks that day). The front desk staff were also excellent and accommodating. If I ever return to Mount Siguniang, I'll definitely stay at Vienna Hotel again."

"Choosing this guesthouse for our trip was definitely the right call. The town was wonderfully quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. I was particularly impressed with the bathroom facilities, which were on par with those of luxury hotels. A special shout-out goes to the guesthouse restaurant. Despite its high-up location, which meant we had to take a few breaks walking up for meals, the owner's cooking was simply divine! It was hands down the most delicious meal we had on this entire trip, and we would absolutely choose to stay here again."

"This hotel is literally steps away from the Shuangqiao Valley entrance, less than 50 meters, and easily the best hotel in the immediate vicinity. They have a massive parking lot, which is free for guests. It was completely packed the next morning with self-driving tourists heading to the valley, which really highlights its convenience. In contrast, parking at nearby B&Bs is usually right by their entrance, often crowded and feeling less secure. The lady at the front desk provided truly excellent service. She was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all our questions and making us feel right at home. Thumbs up! Our room was adequately sized. Although our standard room booking indicated 1.1-meter wide beds, they felt wider, closer to 1.2 meters, which was a nice bonus. Breakfast offered a decent selection, certainly enough to fill you up, though a greater variety would make it even better. After a day exploring Shuangqiao Valley, it was pleasant to unwind in the lobby for a while before heading up to the room. The room is advertised as having diffused oxygen supply, which I'm not familiar with, and honestly, I didn't notice any particular difference. The main drawback is the price; it's quite steep, more than double that of surrounding guesthouses. I felt the value for money wasn't quite there. The hotel could definitely do better in this regard."
