Genteng Hotels with Gym

This hotel feels like one of the more upscale options in Surabaya. The garden is absolutely beautiful, attracting many visitors who come specifically to take photos, and it has a rich historical background. The mattress in the room was very comfortable. The only minor issue was that the sink in the bathroom drained a bit slowly, which seems to be a common problem in Surabaya. The breakfast was incredibly abundant; I'd recommend setting aside an hour to enjoy it. Plus, it's right next to a shopping center, making it perfect for some last-day travel browsing. The hotel's spa is about 250 RMB for a 60-minute session per person, but it's really relaxing. Just a heads-up, check-in is only available after 2 PM.

This is always our preferred hotel whenever we visit Surabaya. We love the unique jungle-like atmosphere in the middle of the city—it feels peaceful, relaxing, and is a wonderful escape from the busy surroundings. The location is excellent, with easy access to many places. Although the hotel is a little older and some areas could be better maintained, it still has its own charm that keeps us coming back. For us, the relaxing ambience is what makes this hotel special, and we always enjoy staying here.

Everything was great: cleanliness, environment, vibe, service, and friendly staff. However, the soundproofing needs improvement. It did take some points off the overall experience.

Friendly and helpful staff. Free early check-in (12h instead of 14h). Clean and big room with huge and confortable queen size bed. Silent AC. Big TV, mini fridge, kettle and hair-dryer available. Nice swimming pool + good sauna and gym. Very good breakfast with turkish coffee ! I highly recommend this hotel !

Very good hotel. The service and staff are some of the best i have seen so far. The taste of the food included in the breakfast is very good to. Rooms are clean and the housekeeping doesnt mess with your stuff when your not there. The only stuff i can think of this hotel could improve on is stuff others mentioned before already: Very loud traffic,some of the drivers think they are valentino rossi.. so some more soundproofing would be recommended. The airconditioning is ok in deluxe premiere and higher rooms,i booked a deluxe double wich ment me and my girl were being cooked alive but the staff upgraded our room to deluxe premiere for free wich was absolutely very nice of them. The water pressure is ok but could be a little higher. And the food despite tasting very good is being held warm on electri hotplates but they need to set these to a higher temperature for some of the food so that its still warm after it has left the kitchen. Final verdict: 4.5 stars out of 5 and would recommend this hotel to others but as foreigner who struggles with indonesian temperatures i recommend you book a deluxe premiere or better room.

Have stayed here several times, always enjoyable. strategic location and the staff is quite friendly. Overall, it's okay, hopefully the service will be further improved! 🔥
