HOTEL GLOBAL VIEW HAKODATE
"Staff speak limited English, we went through some issues with our booking and seems like only one front desk staff can speak English but he was not very helpful and it took a long time to wait for them to communicate then get back to us with nothing, we are very disappointed with the service. There was also one rude female staff at the restaurant and apparently doesn’t speak English, we tried to give her the wrong breakfast tickets and she rudely shaked her hands and slapped our tickets to have us go away until we found the right tickets. Staff here not particularly nice and friendly here especially at the restaurant like they are so done with servicing guests except there’s one very helpful auntie at the coin laundry. The room from the premium tower is spacious but not as clean as we would expect, counter tops are dusty, bathroom floor moldy and blanket is quite old. They only have toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and bath gel in the room. The location is not close to the Hakodate JR station but if you are driving, they have plenty of outdoor parking space close by. Breakfast is great, a lot of selections and food was fresh. However, they gave out allocated timed breakfast tickets however the Japanese buffet was so popular you still need to queue despite the tickets."

Heiseikan Shiosaitei Hanatsuki
"I recently stayed at a hotel that truly impressed me. The facilities were spotlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was abundant and of top quality, providing a great start to my days. The on-site hot springs were a soothing treat, perfect for relaxation. The service was attentive and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Plus, the room offered a breathtaking view, which added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort and exceptional service."

Hakodate Hotel Ekimae
"The room was spacious, as is typical of hotels in Hokkaido, even for a single room, but the smell of cigarette smoke permeated the elevator and even the changing room of the public bath, which was awful. I checked out early the next morning and left my luggage, but after a while I realized I had forgotten a bottle of drink in the refrigerator. I called the front desk and they promised to give it to me when I came to pick up my luggage, but they never did. I didn't say anything because I was running out of time for my airport bus and would have missed it if they had checked on me, but even though the price was cheap, the smell of cigarette smoke made it feel expensive. I don't think I'll ever stay there again, but smokers probably won't mind."
Hakodate Uminokaze
"It's very close to the airport and the staff can help arrange taxis. The only pity is that the buffet dinner was changed to a set menu."
Villa Concordia Resort & Spa
"This was my first time staying here. Although check-in was late, at around 9pm, they handled it with a smile. However, it was a shame that I missed out on the alcoholic drink service in the lobby. The room was spacious and very convenient. The bed was wide enough that I, who am 156cm tall, could sleep sideways without any problems. As for breakfast, the main dish was a colorful salad. The corn soup had a strong corn flavour at first bite and was delicious, but the portion was quite large and it felt a bit heavy towards the end. The bread was very tasty. This hotel is recommended not only for sightseeing, but also for relaxing alone."
Super Hotel Hakodate

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hokke Club Hakodate. The location was very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the large public bath, which was perfect after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were polite, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Breakfast offered a great variety of local dishes, and everything was delicious. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay there again when visiting Hakodate."

"The location is very good. There is a botanical garden next to it where monkeys take a bath."

Heiseikan Shiosaitei

Seaside Hotel Kamome
"The hotel is not in the city center, but it is very easy to get to the hotel by bus. The room is relatively small and the windows and doors cannot be opened. Since it is centrally air-conditioned, the heating is very warm (hot). If you are not used to the heating opening, it will be a bit The baby is hot and toasty, but if you turn off the air conditioner, there will be no air circulation. So after I communicated with the staff, he gave me a fan. The service was very attentive and the price of the hotel was very affordable. I will definitely stay again. The staff’s sincere and thoughtful service is highly recommended!"
