Four Points Flex by Sheraton Hakodate Station ★★★
"Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The location was convenient, and for a low-cost business hotel, it offers good value for the price. One thing to note is that the complimentary amenities are fairly basic, so I would recommend bringing your own toiletries if you prefer higher-quality products. The only downside was the shower room. There was a noticeable damp, musty smell, which I understand can sometimes be difficult to avoid. However, it did make me wonder whether the cleaning and ventilation were being managed thoroughly."

Heiseikan Shiosaitei Hanatsuki
"This is the second time for the consecutive years of our stay. This hotel is the only reason for us to come back to Hokkaido again from last year’s trip. The ocean view in the room accompanied with the sound of tides / wind is peaceful and lovely; and the in-room but semi-outdoor/facing the sea onsen makes everything perfect. Also the lobby sitting area is another fascinating place for stay for a while! The downstairs souvenir shop, nearby walking distance Lawson/ 7–11 makes the location more convenient. But maybe the expectation was too high after waiting for a year, I was disappointed for this stay several reasons: 1) too strong third hand cigarettes smell in the room, although we opened the window for 24 hours, the smell still lingered 2) check out time is WAY TOO EARLY(10 am) for a leisure purpose of stay 3) the room is clean but not the window, it hinder the view of seeing through the ocean ; and can tell the hotel is old from every corners. I’ll reconsider to stay again if the price is worth the downside we need to compromise."
Yunokawa Prince Hotel Nagisatei

Yunokawa Kanko Hotel Shoen
"The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious. I was happy that there was all-you-can-drink alcohol at dinner! Karaoke and table tennis are also free. Our travel package included a free 50-minute private open-air bath option. Our family of four was very spacious, and the amenities in the large communal bath were also plentiful! The whole family was very satisfied! I'd like to stay here again!"
Hakodate Hotel Ekimae
"The room was spacious, as is typical of hotels in Hokkaido, even for a single room, but the smell of cigarette smoke permeated the elevator and even the changing room of the public bath, which was awful. I checked out early the next morning and left my luggage, but after a while I realized I had forgotten a bottle of drink in the refrigerator. I called the front desk and they promised to give it to me when I came to pick up my luggage, but they never did. I didn't say anything because I was running out of time for my airport bus and would have missed it if they had checked on me, but even though the price was cheap, the smell of cigarette smoke made it feel expensive. I don't think I'll ever stay there again, but smokers probably won't mind."
Hakodate Uminokaze
"The facilities are quite new. The Taisho and Heisei style hot springs have their own characteristics. This time I stayed in a Taisho style room. I hope I can stay in a Heisei style room next time. The sea view out the window is pretty good, after all, it's still a short distance from the sea. The only dissatisfaction is that the air conditioner in the room cannot be adjusted. It is very stuffy inside without opening the window. I even had to take off my clothes to sleep. No matter how cold it is outside, the right to adjust the indoor temperature should be given to the guests. How does everyone feel about the temperature? Not the same"
Hotel Brs Hakodate Goryokaku Tower Mae
"We were able to use a two-room family room. It was great to be able to relax and unwind."
Hotel Hokke Club Hakodate
"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hokke Club Hakodate. The location was very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the large public bath, which was perfect after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were polite, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Breakfast offered a great variety of local dishes, and everything was delicious. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay there again when visiting Hakodate."
Hakodate Hotel Banso
"Check-in was at 3:00 PM, but I was able to arrive around 2:15 PM, which was nice. The man's English was easy to understand, which was great. It was the easiest I've ever understood during my trip to Japan! The room was very clean, the food was good, the staff was very welcoming, and I loved being able to watch the sunrise from my room. I think it would be nice if the amenities were a little softer! The hot spring water is so good, but... I don't think the amenities make up for it! Especially around the hairline~~"
LC Goryokaku Hotel
"The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel staff are kind. In the morning, there are only small portions of Japanese food. The hotel is very close to Wulingguo, just a few minutes' drive away, which is very convenient!"
Nesaki Native
Experience a modern boutique stay featuring clean, minimalist rooms, a refreshing coastal atmosphere, friendly service, and convenient access to all of Hakodate’s city sights and attractions.
Hakodate Yunokawa Onsen Umi to Akari/Hewitt Resort
"Hotel is just 5 min bus ride from the airport. The onsen in the hotel is facing the sea and the view is amazing. Buffet spread for dinner and breakfast are excellent. I will definitely stay here again."
Seaside Hotel Kamome
"Take National Highway 278 directly opposite Hakodate Station and walk for about 20 minutes. You can take the bus. The appearance of the hotel is very conspicuous, but the facilities in the rooms are a bit outdated. It is only close to the seaside, not a bathing beach, and there are few people. However, after dark, you can't see anything and can only hear the sound of the waves. There is a convenience store diagonally across the road, and on the right side of the hotel is a pizza shop. It is convenient for eating and drinking, but the room facilities are a bit old and there are few power sockets. It is recommended to bring your own power strip. There is no mineral water in the room because the tap water can be drank directly. The large refrigerator is useful."
Super Hotel Hakodate
"It was very clean and the breakfast was free, so it was enough. There are so many delicious things to eat in Hokkaido that I would only like to have a small breakfast, so I was very satisfied. I would like to use this hotel again when traveling with friends."
