"The location is excellent, right in the center of town and only about a 10 minute walk to the bridge. The room was just enough for a couple with two check-in-sized suitcases. The breakfast and coffee were good enough if you’re in a rush. However, there were a few issues during our stay. There was no hot water after about 5 minutes of showering each day. We stayed in a corner room facing the main road. From Friday to Sunday, between 7:30 PM and 11:00 PM, the restaurant across the street blasted loud music and non-stop chatter. Even with earplugs, the noise was still very noticeable…quite frustrating after a long day of travel. We asked to change rooms, but the receptionist said this was the best they had available."

"Shongwe Lookout was a lovely surprise - it very bijoux and stylish. Despite just being there for 1 night we felt we would be happy to stay longer. The location was excellent for exploring Vic Falls. Also the added bonus for me was the availability of local artist Nicole Sanderson’s work plus gifts at the bottom level of the Lookout."

"The hotel is lovely, it's about 40 minutes from the waterfall to the hotel, and the walk is completely safe during the day. Wild animals can be seen in the evening, but so can those in the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to help. We got very wet at the waterfall, and the staff dried our shoes 😍"
