Hwange Safari Lodge ★★★
"I stayed here as part of a group tour, and this was my favourite accomodation on the whole two week trip. The lobby is stunning, the staff friendly and helpful. This is somewhere that I would book for myself if and when I return to Zimbabwe."
N1 Hotel & Campsite Victoria Falls ★★
"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location is excellent! You can walk to Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side and then to the border with Zambia in about 15 minutes. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. You can also walk to a large supermarket in about 15 minutes. The room is small but quite cozy and clean, with mosquito nets on the windows. They allowed us to check in quickly so we could go see the waterfall right away."
Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel ★★★
"Hotel was clean and offered free shuttle to Victoria Falls."
Elephant Hills Resort ★★★★
"Good Hotel"
Shearwater's Explorers Village ★★★
"Nice hotel and staff, beautiful grounds"
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge ★★★★
"Beautiful✨️✨️✨️✨️ The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay so enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was 👌👌✨️"
Insika Lodge ★★★★
The Little Outlook ★★★
"Very disappointed that we chose The Little Outlook for several reasons - future guests please be careful. I had to cancel my trip due to medical issues but my companion still travelled to Victoria Falls. Despite having booked and paid for the accommodation months in advance, on arrival on 2 September 2025 they were told there were 'maintenance issues' and was sent to an inferior neighbouring hotel. At this hotel they met other guests who had also been moved across from The Little Outlook due to over booking of the rooms. We also booked and paid in advance through The Little Outlook and Falcon Safaris for all of our day trips/excursions in Victoria Falls thinking this would be a safe and reliable option. I would strongly recommend you do not do this. Although I advised I was unable to travel to Victoria Falls before our arrival date and requested my day tours be cancelled and refunded, I have basically been ignored and have still not had any of the money refunded. For 4 months I sent weekly emails and WhatsApp enquiries requesting an update. The only response I received in that period was 'your enquiry has been forwarded to Accounts'. No one would take responsibility for responding to my enquiries even to advise if my cancelled tours would be fully or partially refunded. It is now January and The Little Outlook have still not responded to my emails or refunded any of the money paid in advance for the day tours. Please DO NOT make the mistake we did and book any of your activities through The Little Outlook/Falcon Safaris. I waited over 4 months to write this review - giving The Little Outlook every opportunity to respond. Their continued silence would indicate that no refund will be forthcoming."
Azambezi River Lodge ★★★★
"A'Zambezi River Lodge is the perfect place to relax. The lodge has a special serenity and peace that is there from the moment you step out of the shuttle. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with a kettle for those who like to start their day with a cup of tea or coffee. We enjoyed the excellent food from the kitchen. The staff were excellent! It was special to see the sunrise from our veranda and to watch the sunset over the river from the garden. We can recommend this venue."

The Victoria Falls Hotel
"This Hotel is a legend. Second must-see point after Victoria Falls itself ))"
Anantara Stanley & Livingstone Victoria Falls Hotel
"The place is quite a gem outside of Victoria Falls and fairly close to the airport or the falls themselves. I'll start with a few negatives...The road to get there is a bit sketchy, WIFI was spotty by pool area (great in room), no workout facilities (and with quality food and drinks by staff we could have used it lol), and activity planning outside of Anantara grounds could have been slightly more proactive (although very helpful with our suggestions and rides), Admittedly, those are nit-picking and about the ONLY even slight negatives about the place. The staff is fabulous...very nice and attentive! The grounds are fantastic even having a short 1/4 mi walking path with flowering bushes w vibrant colors. Rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful with 5-star service. Food and drinks are great with separate bar and dining areas with both indoor and outdoor seating (overlooking the reserve usually w animals present). Anantara feels remote and isolated as well as very safe. Their on-site activities are great whether it be wine pairing, gin tasting, outdoor dining within the reserve, or the various game drives in am or pm which are a certain highlight and feel very non-touristy due to private reserve and more personalized attention from the guide and scouts. We would have loved the reserve area even if there were no animals (And there are MANY) as it is hilly w some beatiful vistas, mostly varying tree areas w small clearings and with many varying small 4-wheel drive dirt paths giving a true old-time game drive feel. I almost forgot to mention our stay included an optional (I'd highly recommend) visit to a nearby local village. Certainly, one of the highlights of the trip and the visit was very ad-hoc feeling and even our driver did not know who we would meet with. Highly enlightening on many fronts! We would certainly stay there again if in the area and also would recommend highly to any friends or family who were coming to the Victoria Falls area. It is a 5-star experience."
Nkosi Guest Lodge
"I've long been drawn to the vibrant, multi-colored bougainvillea fence, so I was thrilled to experience the comforts within. The well-sized rooms are tastefully furnished, while the generous bathroom boasts both a tub and shower. However, I found the pin shower heads, common in this country, perplexing. Please try a drum head. This medium-sized lodge is ideal for family gatherings and events with friends. Gamu, embodies exceptional guest hospitality from her command post at the reception. The dining staff, including two Melodies and More Blessing, have a keen understanding of attentive service. As with many Zim establishments, the steak will be your best bet for food. The cheesecake earns special mention for those with a sweet tooth. I enjoyed the lodge's serene setting and proximity to Victoria Falls, accessible via a scenic downhill run. The pricing was reasonable."
Palm River Hotel
"Lovely Hotel, excellent food, great setting. Animals seen roaming in the grounds behind electrified fence. Zambezi River at bottom of Hotel."
Lokuthula Lodge
"We stayed in two cottages (duplex style) for five days - great experience for our group. The set up was comfortable with an upstairs loft bedroom and main floor bedroom, and a lower level sitting area with kitchen. We did not need to utilize the kitchen but having a sitting area was good. Our rooms were adjoining so that was convenient for our group. We enjoyed being able to walk to the Boma for breakfast, or a slightly longer walk to the Lodge. All arrangements for any transportation that we asked for help with were accomplished easily. We appreciated the ease of having the shuttle bus at our disposal as well. Great value and enjoyed our stay! Thank you Lokuthula!"
Ilala Lodge Hotel
"Lovely lodge in a nature reserve with deers and warthogs roaming the grounds. Spacious and comfortable room. Relaxing pool area. Outside restaurant, you can hear the sound of the falls. Walking distance of Victoria Falls and bridge to Zambia. Local shops and bars are very near"
Livingstone Lodge
"A nice, quiet hotel with a la carte breakfast. You choose one of the options, for example, an English breakfast."
Peniel Retreat Centre
"Beautiful property! So quiet and peaceful. Exactly what you want for a relaxing vacation. The staff were extremely helpful and went the extra mile to make arrangements in Victoria Falls for us. Every meal we had was delicious!"
Mbano Manor Hotel Victoria Falls
"Great staff and beautiful units. Had a wonderful stay. Great ‘vibe’ overall. Spacious units and very caring and attentive staff."
Pioneers
"Excellent experience with friendly staff and phenomenal service. Quiet surroundings with beautiful greenery. Food was amazing and afternoon tea was adorable"
Waterfalls Lodge
"Beautiful lodge with lovely gardens and 2 pools. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Shuttle bus to run you around. Rooms have large bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. No faults from me."
Ursula's Homestead
"We had an incredible experience staying at Ursula's Lodge! It is a really special place and unlike anywhere we have stayed before. The grounds are kept immaculate and the staff work hard to maintain the beautiful surroundings. Without a doubt, the watering hole is one of the main highlights, which is very close to the accommodation. We saw zebras, impala, baboons and giraffes coming down the watering hole for a drink everyday. One member of our party even saw a rhino in the early hours of the morning! The staff are all very friendly and professional and we were really well looked after during out stay. The food served at Urusula's Lodge is great, with the Eggs Benedict with mushrooms and the Beef Fillet being particular highlights of ours. The rooms are kept very clean and the beds are huge! We booked a few activities through the hotel, including the Afternoon Game Drive and the Morning Walking safaris. These are truly once in a lifetime experiences and we couldn't recommend them enough. Our safari guide Africa was brilliant! He was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable about the animals and plants we saw on our safaris. We saw 4 of The Big 5 on our afternoon game drive - lions, buffalos, rhinos and a leopard! We also saw lots of giraffes, zebras and 2 hyenas. Spotting the different animal tracks on the morning safari and tracking a giraffe on foot was an exciting highlight! Some of our party enjoyed the morning safari so much that they booked a second one later in the week. Thank you to all of the staff for making the stay so memorable, we were really sad to leave! ❤️ "

"many things wrong with such a new hotel. The Staff was awesome and free breakfast buffet very nice. Basically the only time food is available. No real coffee just powdered coffee. No dinner available unless 5 or more guest come for dinner. No snack machines available. Front door room lock is hard to use. The bathroom needs more lighting to put on makeup. Steps from room to pool are too high and could be dangerous for some people to get to the pool from your room. There is a tiny bar in lobby but nothing you would want to sit at. I wanted to buy a bottle of red wine none available. I bought a white wine for 25.00 us. Make sure you have the right plug for this section of S.Africa I had one for east Africa that was not usable only plugs in the room no USB but front dest did lend me a plug. Front desk could not process either of 2 credit cars even though my friends cards were processed(as were mine every where I traveled) Otherwise large rooms big beds nice shower refrigerator in room good air-conditioning. Could not find driver from airport to hotel taxi was 30.00 but we did have a free shuttle back to airport. Call from airport to hotel to get your ride. Hotels are often more expensive than most other places in S.A. I would book as early as possible of date of travel there are hotels closer to the downtown area that has beautiful shops and restaurants. I felt this hotel was a little too expensive for having no real restaurant. I paid about 170.00 nt."
Ivory Lodge
"Wonderful and friendly staff! We loved the bungalows and their view over the waterhole. Very confortable and close to nature at the same time. Good food, good wine. But the best of the best was our ranger : we are deeply grateful to Zeb and hope to be back soon (the sooner the better) ! Huge thanks to all the staff who took such good care of us and our son !"
Bayete Guest Lodge
"It's a single-story lodge-style accommodation. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, so even if you have a lot of luggage, it's not a problem. The grounds are also spacious, so you can take walks and relax in the garden or by the pool. The staff were also very helpful."
Inkindaba Guest House
"Very friendly staff that made me feel like at home. Clean room, clean bathroom. A great stay."
