"I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed my overall experience. The single room with a private bathroom was surprisingly spacious, very clean, tidy, and most importantly extremely comfortable. One of my favorite features was definitely the shower — the water pressure was incredibly strong and refreshing after a long day. I also absolutely loved the smart toilet, which added a very modern and luxurious touch to the room.
The reception staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The check-in and check-out process was also very smooth and efficient, which made everything even more convenient. I especially appreciate the hotel for accommodating my request for a lower-floor room. Since I was traveling with a very large suitcase, being assigned a room on the second floor saved me from the trouble of carrying it up to the higher levels. Thank you for being so thoughtful and considerate.
Hotel’s location is another huge advantage. It is situated right in the city center, making it very convenient to get around. The surrounding streets are lively without being too noisy, which made me feel safer as a solo female traveler. There are also plenty of food options and convenience stores within walking distance, so finding something to eat was never a problem. This hotel is definitely a hidden gem.
I do, however, have a few small suggestions for improvement. Only one set of towels was provided, which was slightly inconvenient for guests staying multiple nights. It became a little troublesome having to contact the reception every day to request fresh towels. I also hope the hotel can consider adding more in-room amenities, such as a kettle, so guests who do not carry their own water bottles would not need to keep going downstairs to refill water from the dispenser. Additionally, having a pen and some paper in the room would be a nice and useful touch.
Overall, I genuinely feel that the room was well worth the price, and I would rate my stay 4.5/5. I would definitely return again in the future and highly recommend this hotel to others. Keep up the great work!"
Our hotel is ideally located just a 3–5 minute walk from Tainan Railway Station, with easy access to the Tainan Bus Station and the main transit terminal. Whether you arrive by train, intercity bus, or local transportation, getting here is fast and convenient. The surrounding area offers excellent amenities, including department stores and convenience stores all within walking distance for shopping, dining, and daily needs.
Popular attractions are also close by. It takes only about a 15-minute walk to reach the lively Chihkan District, and around 20 minutes to the famous Guohua Street, well known for its authentic local cuisine. Whether you are visiting Tainan for business, sightseeing, or a relaxing getaway, our hotel is the perfect choice for a comfortable and convenient stay. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you.
"The staff were very friendly and the hotel's location is super convenient, just a two-minute walk from Tainan Station. The room was a bit small, but it offered great value for money."

Excellent
GGuest UserStayed for two nights.
Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved.
There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl.
Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.
XXuanErI had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. The location is quite convenient, situated right next to a well-known bakery, which made it easy to grab fresh bread and snacks anytime. There’s also a nice burger place just across the street, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
The surrounding area is lively enough without being too noisy, so it’s a good balance for travelers who want both comfort and accessibility.
The hotel itself was comfortable and provided everything I needed for a short stay. While it may not be overly luxurious, it offers good value for convenience.
RRyan Ka TokyoReady to dive into Tainan’s captivating old streets and creative energy? The Kindness Day Hotel exceeded my expectations from the get-go—think comfy amenities, a breakfast buffet you’ll dream about, and a location that puts you just steps from historic hot spots like Guohua Street, You'ai Night Market, and Anping Old Street. 🏮
Staying here means you’re in the heart of it all! Arrive by taxi or hop on the train—either way, you’re within easy reach of Tainan’s iconic foodie walks, temples, and that ruggedly photogenic Anping coastline. The wooden tableware at breakfast is a lovely touch; it matches the bright, modern interiors and gives serious “insta-worthy” vibes, especially on sunny mornings.
What sets Kindness Day apart? Free bikes for breezy city exploring, a 24-hour supply of coffee and ice cream (essential fuel for full travel days!), and a guest laundry so you can pack light. Got a craving late at night? From 7 to 10 pm, there are free snacks and beverages to keep those midnight munchies at bay.
The staff really make the stay—everyone is genuinely helpful and always ready to guide you or share local tips for the best photo angles and hidden gems. If you love snapping pics, check out the modern light-filled lobby and take your camera out to the nearby vibrant outdoor art scenes.
Book early on trip.com for the best rates, and try to time your snack breaks for that magical 7-10 pm window. Tainan tip: plan a walking route from the hotel—hit the night markets, then unwind at Anping’s outdoor spots before heading back for dessert and downtime.

AAnonymous UserHad a pleasant time in this hotel. Provided snacks and drinks daily. The male staff that was at the reception at night was very helpful in helping us call local shops and finding things. The breakfast was also delicious! Would return next time!
RRockYoYoManHere's a review of the hotel:
1. **Location & Transport** 🚗
* **Location:** Superb! Situated on Section 2 of Ximen Road in West Central District, directly across from You'ai Street.
* **Surroundings:** Very convenient, close to Guohua Street for food, the You'ai commercial district, Chihkan Tower, and Tainan Confucius Temple.
* **Parking:** No on-site parking. You'll need to find public parking spaces or paid parking lots nearby, which is a bit inconvenient.
2. **Room & Facilities** 🛌
* **Style:** Continues the 'Little Deer Entertainment' forest magic theme with a great design aesthetic.
* **Facilities:** Rooms usually come with a bathtub (in some room types), stable Wi-Fi, and some rooms have a small desk for work.
* **Comfort:** Comfortable beds, quiet at night, and silent air conditioning and refrigerator.
* **Minor drawbacks:** Hot water sometimes takes a while to come through, and some guests have noted signs of wear and tear or minor cleanliness issues in certain details.
3. **Service & Common Areas** ✨
* **Front Desk Service:** Staff are friendly and welcoming, and sometimes offer small gifts during check-in.
* **Lounge:** There's a comfortable common area on the second floor offering complimentary snacks, drinks, and coffee, which is highly praised.
GGuest UserI chose to stay at the Sun Moon Inn as it was convenient for my visit to the Chimei Museum the following day. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious and hygienic. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful residential area, which was very pleasant. However, there were some minor imperfections: the carpet in the room had stains, and the top of the TV was covered in dust. These small details were a bit of a letdown. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
JJoshua_changThe hotel lobby appeared to be undergoing renovations. The elevator was making strange noises due to a malfunction and wasn't even shut down, which was quite unsettling. The facilities were a major letdown. Considering this hotel is already one of the pricier options in Guanzi Ridge, the quality really shouldn't be this low.
However, the room itself was truly impeccable. It boasted large floor-to-ceiling windows, and both the hot spring water and the shower heated up quickly. Overall, it was quite good.
Breakfast was the most pleasant part of my stay. Dining amidst the forest was a fantastic experience.
MMichelle ElziraWe cannot stop our praises for this hotel! We intended to just stay the night and explore a little of Tainan before heading to Kaoshiung. The friendly staff engaged us in conversation and shared so passionately about Tainan that we decided to stay an extra day/night in Tainan. They even planned our itinerary for us. We are thankful for the value-added service of helping us warm up our food (we bought food as our stomachs had limited capacity) in the mornings/nights. We got the double room with no window but hardly felt suffocated as the room was spacious, spotless and sooo comfortable. The carpark was a short 3min walk away. We enjoyed the facilities, but what caught our hearts was the heartwarming service from the staff. We do not have the habit of asking to take a photo with hotel staff, but for this hotel, we asked to as we wanted to remember the wonderful experience we had here.
MMary125Stayed in 2 different rooms. The 1st day room was awful on 9th floor. The bed was super hard like spring mattress with no give especially when sleeping sideways. The bathroom was old and dirty bathtub and the carpet was icky. Asked for a room change as I can't stand the room and I'm a pretty tolerant person. Luckily they offered 7th floor room, much better and probably newer with electronic card key, fresher cleaner bathroom and comfier bed. The 2 rooms has the same room size.
AAnonymous UserSi Anping presents a sophisticated, boutique visual identity that aligns with Tainan’s modern creative wave. The establishment excels in geographic positioning and architectural design.
The property is a high-utility base for historical research, situated within walking distance of Anping Old Fort and the canal.
I am inspired by the minimalist aesthetic and clean lines provide an environment conducive to ”mental decompression” after navigating the sensory-rich streets of Anping.
however, a significant design flaw exists in the bathroom facilities. The window blinds are insufficient to fully cover the shower window, creating a transparency issue where the interior is visible from the public park outside. This presents a challenge to the ”psychological comfort” and privacy of the guest.
Laundry services are not handled in-house; the establishment relies entirely on external providers. This can adds a layer of logistical complexity for travelers on a multi-city itinerary.
