GGuest UserGreat location and interesting old house. It was as shown in the pictures. The host is very friendly and recommended a few places to go and explained the house. He could have given more detailed instructions on the car park, which is closeby but you need to park in the area 62 to be closeby to the house. It’s a long car park so it’s seems far from where you go in but it’ll work out! The car park right next to the house is very expensive.
The house faces towards the car park and the street to the motorcycles are a bit noisy.
Water and cups are provided by the hotel.
Trip.com didn’t tell the owner my email or phone number so he couldn’t contact me and there was no one for checkin. We called him and he came quickly, just would be nicer for everyone if he had those details. Otherwise I recommend proactively contacting him.

MM517745****I had an absolutely delightful experience during my stay at Crowne Plaza Tainan! From the moment I stepped in, everything – from the front desk reception and impeccable room cleanliness to the overall service quality – truly exuded a five-star standard.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent natural light. The soft, comfortable bed ensured a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom featured a convenient wet and dry separation, was fully stocked with amenities, and even thoughtfully included aromatic bath products. Every small detail truly reflected the hotel's dedication and care.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of high-quality dishes. Both the Chinese congee and the Western-style made-to-order egg dishes were exceptionally delicious. I particularly recommend waking up early to fully enjoy it!
My favorite aspect was the hotel's location. It's peaceful and away from the city's hustle, yet still conveniently close to Anping Fort and the riverside scenic area – perfect for travelers who enjoy a more relaxed pace.
Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel for both business and leisure travelers. I would absolutely love to return! Many thanks to Crowne Plaza Tainan for such a wonderful trip.

GGuest UserI stayed in a superior room. The room is big and spacious. It is clean. It has a separate area for toilet and shower which is a good design for 2 occupants staying in the same room. The location is convenient, opposite the hotel is local market. There are alot of eateries nearby, within walking distance. We could just use Google map to navigate. I am impressed with the toiletries provided. I am pampered by Aesop products and felt refreshed after a shower. The breakfast provided is breakfast set, and it is delicious. We could choose from 6 options from the menu. The staff are helpful. I like the idea of loaning the book as part of the check-in, which spoke about Tainan people. Tainan has a rich history, and U.IJ is proud to share about it. I could sense the strong feelings towards the Tainan. I want to go back to the hotel again if i have the opportunity to visit Tainan again.

Vvictor zhongThe overall service quality at the hotel was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and polite, proactively reached out to guests, and their responses were always prompt and helpful.
The hotel's surroundings were quiet and elegant. Its prime location meant it wasn't impacted by nearby buildings, and there was ample space for relaxation nearby.
The room facilities were well-maintained, and the cleanliness was excellent. However, the bathtub was a bit old and had some cracks, though it didn't pose any immediate danger.
The bathroom's glass door could benefit from frosted film to make it more visible, reducing the chance of collisions, or to enhance user privacy! Moreover, the privacy curtain was installed outside the bathroom, which was not very convenient to use.
For the extra bed, an open-style screen could be added to provide more personal space and privacy, and minimize direct sightlines with the main bed.
The breakfast quality was very satisfactory, especially the buffet.

GGabrielle TengThe location is great as it is located to the restaurant and bars cluster. The facilities are clean, well equipped and relatively new. My only issue is with the desk staff, they were not friendly to start with, upon arrival (about 12pm) we were told to just park our luggage at a corner, no tags were assigned, no labelling, nothing. Then told to come back to do check-in at 3pm, they cannot any time earlier than that, so we left and came back at 3pm. At this point it was a female staff with bangs that helped us, I showed her the hotel booking email and she said she wants the Trip.com booking app page, I showed her and she said she wants to see the booking ID. I showed her that too and at this point she said ”read it out to me”. The booking ID was on my phone screen and she didn't even bother to see it, and wants me to READ IT ALOUD TO HER. Maybe she's dyslexic? I don't know. Then I added on one extra day of stay which did not reflect on the paper that she asked me to sign so I pointed that out and she double confirmed that it was printed wrongly. Fast forward a few days, all of our access cards were not able to work for our same rooms that we stayed, I assume it is because she did not grant the correct number of days upon check in, which also resulted in some inconvenience going to and fro the room and counter. And that same staff carried the same attitude when renewing the faulty access cards. Every morning the breakfast service staff was rude as well, like I owed her a million dollars or something, ”you which room? you sit here”. One morning she came to me ”how many people in your room? not 2 person?”, I stayed alone in a 3pax family room with no changes at all. I really dread breakfast everyday. When we checked out there was a new crew of desk staff which was much better in terms of attitude and service, it was the weekend team. I had 2 more weeks of stay in Tainan and I moved to another hotel. Overall I will not stay in this hotel ever again, other than the service, everything is great.

The room view was superb. Waking up to it each morning honestly set the tone for the day. The bed was comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. We slept well throughout the stay.
The location is another big plus. It is convenient, easy to get around, and close to key amenities, which is especially helpful when travelling with family.
Overall, this hotel ticks all the right boxes. Comfortable, well located, and family-friendly. Highly recommended for families looking for a pleasant and hassle free stay.

BBUDGET FRIENDLY TRAVELSI recently stayed at the Tainan Wei-Yat Grand Hotel and found it to be incredibly clean, with well-maintained rooms and excellent amenities that made my stay comfortable. However, the location is a bit inconvenient. The nearest bus stop is an 8-minute walk away, with a limited timetable, making it challenging if you're coming from Tainan Station. Additionally, while the breakfast offered a variety of options, I found the food selection less delicious than advertised. I think their check in and check out time is very short. They start to check in at 3 pm and check out before 10 am. Overall, it's a great hotel if you're prepared for a bit of a commute and don't mind a simple breakfast.

小小瑩火方方Staying at 'King's Garden Villa' in Guanziling this time, the moment I stepped into the resort, that vacation relaxation just washed over me.
The entire resort is free of towering buildings; what greets your eyes are charming, nature-infused cabins and low-rise houses, artfully scattered throughout the grounds, creating the impression of a secluded village retreat. The main lobby boasts a warm, rustic style, with wooden decor and furniture that feels especially inviting and relaxing.
Even though the hotel has been open for many years, the maintenance of the guest rooms, hot spring pools, and public areas is exceptionally well done – there’s no sense of age whatsoever, which speaks volumes about the meticulous management. The staff’s attitude is just as rumored: friendly, attentive, and making you feel right at home.
No wonder it's always been the top choice for many Tainan locals when they come to Guanziling for hot springs. Its years of excellent reputation prove that a great resort isn't just about the scenery and hot springs, but also about that consistent comfort and warmth.
