"Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! I had a wonderful stay at Interlaken Youth Hostel. Everything exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walking distance from the train station, which made traveling around Interlaken and nearby attractions extremely convenient. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Facilities were great, and everything felt very organized and welcoming. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Interlaken. I would happily stay here again!"

"This is an old-fashioned hotel with over a hundred years of history in the area. It's a combination of two classical hotel buildings, a modern central lobby and restaurant built more recently, and a two-story modern apartment-style accommodation at the back. The two classical hotel buildings are Carlton and Europe. Their interiors have been largely optimized for modern needs. The current hotel owners, while renovating, had to adhere to government regulations for preserving the antique structure. However, the rest of the amenities have been modernized as much as possible, with original wood flooring used for repairs and replacements. Overall, it's a very good hotel! Breakfast is buffet-style, but the selection is essentially a Swiss-European breakfast: yogurt, bread and jam, juice, hot tea and coffee, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, pan-fried shredded potatoes, fruit, and various cheeses and cold cuts. For tourists not accustomed to Western-style meals, it might be a bit challenging. The restaurant also offers additional egg dishes or other options for an extra charge – but you have to pay more! The location is very convenient. Right outside is Interlaken Ost station, the starting point for various attractions in the Alps. You can even take a boat from here to the small town of Brienz, or to Iseltwald, famous for the Korean drama 'Crash Landing on You.' Both the pier and the small castle are stunning scenic spots. Upon check-in, the front desk provides a free bus pass, allowing you to take buses to explore various towns. This is different from the mountain trains and cable cars, which require extra payment to go up the mountains quickly. Generally, most attractions stop going up the mountain after 5 PM, so it's best to start early in the morning to make good use of your time! However, this hotel still has its drawbacks. For example, while the water supply is comprehensive, the hot and cold water stability is very poor. Turning on the hot water can be scalding, and sometimes it suddenly turns cold mid-shower, then becomes super hot again. The showering experience is quite subpar! Each guest room uses a classical keyhole lock for opening and closing the door. There's no modern double-bolt lock; you have to lock the door from the inside with the door key. The upside is that once locked from the inside, the keyhole is filled by the key, preventing anyone from picking the lock from the outside. When you go out and lock up, the heavy key can be left in the mail slot at the front desk, or entrusted to the front desk for safekeeping, in a classic manner! Most importantly, this hotel does not allow children! According to the owner's vision, he wants this hotel to be adult-focused, allowing busy people to enjoy their own time while traveling and recharging, rather than having to take care of children during their vacation. This way, adults can truly live for themselves. Therefore, this hotel does not allow guests under 16 years old. If you plan to book with children, please look for accommodation elsewhere – it's better for both parties! Overall, this is a good place for mature individuals to stay, perfect for those focused on enjoying mountain excursions. Who wouldn't want to return to their hotel immediately after coming down the mountain to rest?"

"The front desk staff were very warm and humorous. I checked out during the day and asked them to store my luggage. When I went back to pick it up in the evening to catch the last bus, I was in a hurry. They comforted me, saying there was still time, and gave me a bottle of water. They also wished me a pleasant journey. I was really touched. I wish the hotel would do better and better and the staff would be happy every day."

"Great location. Thankful for an issuance of a bigger room/ double bed. A single bed comforter was issued though. My room was at the extension wing portion, with auto sensor lighting along the rooms corridor and a slight delayed lighting. Would have a preferred a bright corridor. The heater/ AC system can be on the noisier side too."

"The facilities, cleanliness, and service were excellent. However, I booked late and ended up in a mixed-gender dorm. At 10 PM, the room had over ten people, but no one else had arrived except me. Around 11 PM, I was woken up by incredibly loud snoring. I was woken up three or four times throughout the night, and even earplugs didn't help. I was really exhausted. I recommend that women avoid booking mixed-gender dorms."

"Hotel Interlaken is a gem! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and local tips to make your stay unforgettable. But the real stars of the show (besides the staff, of course!) are the breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding Interlaken - truly stunning! And after a day of exploring, the rain shower in the room was the perfect way to relax and unwind. "While driving through the Alps, it got late and we didn't want to tackle the mountain roads, so we booked this hotel last minute. We had a spacious triple room. It's a 4-star hotel with a fantastic location. Enjoying breakfast in the morning with views of the snow-capped mountains was incredibly pleasant. The beds were also very comfortable. Overall, we were very satisfied!"

"The hotel location couldn’t have been better. Just a short stroll from Grindelwald train station, the hotel sits right in the heart of the village, with shops and a supermarket practically at the doorstep. It made exploring the Jungfrau region effortless — whether hopping on a train to the mountain passes or simply wandering through the charming streets. What really stood out was how well the hotel is equipped. The amenities went beyond what I expected, even compared to my previous stay at an upscale property in Lucerne. Breakfast was sumptuous . Each morning, we enjoyed a generous spread in a bright breakfast room with lovely views of the surrounding peaks. Overall, Hotel Central Wolter offers good value for money. It combines convenience, comfort, and a touch of charm."

"Everything is good except few technical problems in my room. I think the room has just been newly renovated and not yet running smoothly, there were problems the kitchen door, wifi signal, TV signal. But staffs were very helpful to try fixing the problems."

"I stayed at Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn in the beautiful mountain village of Wengen, and it turned out to be a fantastic base for exploring the area. One of the biggest advantages is its location — the hotel is right next to the train station, which makes arrival and departure incredibly easy, especially in a car-free village like Wengen. The hotel itself has a welcoming, alpine feel, and the rooms are comfortable and well suited for both short and longer stays. I had breakfast included, and it was a great way to start the day before heading out into the mountains. There was a good selection available, and the setting made it even more enjoyable with the surrounding scenery. One of the standout features of this hotel is the wellness area. After a day of exploring or being out in the mountains, having access to a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and spa facilities makes a big difference. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, especially if you’re visiting in colder months or after a long day of hiking or skiing. From a practical point of view, being right next to the train station means you have quick and easy access to nearby destinations like Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Jungfraujoch. It makes getting around the region very straightforward without needing to worry about transport logistics. I would highly recommend Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn to anyone visiting Wengen. The combination of excellent location, good facilities, and relaxing spa area makes it a great choice for enjoying the Swiss Alps in comfort."
