"Facilities: We stayed in a lake-view room, and the facilities were very new, meeting our expectations. With the balcony door closed, it was essentially soundproof, so we couldn't hear any noise. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was well-maintained; both the bathroom and the room were quite clean. Environment: The location is excellent, right next to Yingxue Lake. Service: The service was generally satisfactory. Each room received a complimentary souvenir. Luggage Transfer Service: This service was super convenient and saved us the hassle of carrying our own luggage. Erlang Mountain Ski Resort Double Ticket and Double Yuan Yang Chi Cable Car Round-Trip Ticket: Two tickets were included, which was a nice bonus."

"Facilities: The hot spring is really good. We went on a Friday, and there were very few people, which made for an excellent experience. The temperature is manually controlled, and staff regularly add hot water. There are also cooler pools, and even a mountain spring pool suitable for children. There are many pools, but since there weren't many people, only a few were open. Environment: The environment is genuinely great. All the buildings are two or three-story detached units, far removed from the towering high-rises of the city. The landscaping is also very nice, and the view from the window is good. We stayed on the second floor, and the natural light was excellent. Contrary to what some online reviews mentioned, there was no sense of being outdated or old. Our stay was very pleasant."

"Maple leaf hotel is located at the scenic spot. You have to step down from the bus at the SECOND stop so you don't have to drag your bags far starting from the first stop. The room is big and spacious and heated floor is a plus. However the toilet looks a bit run down and not worth the price we paid. At the beginning of the booking, we were informed that we had to purchase the cable car tickets, so we did much earlier. Then, 24 hours before the check in, we get a message saying that we receive free tickets to the scenic spot. Panic, we asked at the check in counter when we reached there. They confirmed the ticket to ”the scenic spot” was indeed the cable car ticket. We have spent 240 yuan where we can get it complimentary on top of the expensive room. The complimentary tickets should be communicated way earlier to avoid such mistakes to happen again. The breakfast was so sad, please don't look forward to it and eat your RTE food instead. Bring your maggi in the cup!"

"Overall, it was pretty good. It was my first time staying in a tent. The room was quite spacious, and right outside the tent was snow. Walking a short distance to the restroom was fine, though it was a bit inconvenient to go at night because of how cold it was. Inside the room, it was warm enough, but even with the heater and electric blanket on, the air still felt a bit chilly. It was perfectly fine once you were snuggled under the covers. The rooms were quite private, with a good distance between other tents, so overall safety felt good. This kind of stay is nice for one night for the experience, but probably not ideal for a longer stay. I originally wanted to try the 'stove-boiled tea' experience, but it was a bit pricey for just me, and they weren't offering it in the evening, so I skipped it. The service was good; you could communicate via WeChat, and the environment was also nice. There was snow everywhere, and for a first-time experience, it was pretty decent."

"Coming down from the snowy mountains was exhausting, so a hot spring soak here in Huashuiwan was absolutely divine. Hoshino Snow Mountain Manor is a very new hotel with fantastic facilities. More importantly, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and soaking in the hot spring was just pure bliss!"

"The hotel is conveniently located right next to Anren Ancient Town, just a short walk across the road. The greenery around the hotel is lovely, creating a beautiful environment. The service is warm and friendly, and the breakfast offers a good variety. If you're driving, you can park in the outdoor lot, though finding a spot during peak hours might be tricky. Alternatively, you can park near the hotel lobby entrance. The rooms come with balconies, some overlooking the ancient town and others facing the garden. Breakfast is decent. However, the rooms don't have bathtubs. While Trip.com lists this hotel as '5-star luxury,' online information indicates it's officially rated as a 4-star hotel, which is something to be aware of."

"After a long search, I finally found this hidden gem – a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. It's great for families with kids or for bringing your parents along. Getting there from Chengdu is super convenient, just an hour's drive. Upon arrival, I contacted the butler, and someone immediately came out to greet us and help with our luggage. The service was excellent! Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and it truly felt like a luxurious experience. Afternoon tea was a buffet with unlimited beer, drinks, and various snacks. They started pampering us with food the moment we arrived. The in-room amenities were also fantastic, including a Dyson hairdryer (I wasn't even planning on washing my hair, haha!). The butlers were incredibly responsive and patient in helping with all our requests. Overall, I absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back!"

"The room facilities were excellent, with really powerful hot water, and the room itself was spacious and very clean. On the 5th floor, there's a laundry room and a gym, where you can wash and dry clothes. The front desk service was also superb. In the lobby, they offer hot water, drinks, and cookies, and someone immediately offers you hot water as soon as you enter. The service was very thoughtful. The environment is also nice, with plenty of convenient dining options nearby. This stay was a fantastic experience. The front desk had many cute little pandas on display, which looked great. Definitely coming back next time!"

"Quite disappointed. The facilities were a mix of old and new, and there was mold around the edges of the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned. I understand that for guest safety, deliveries aren't allowed upstairs at night, but there were no staff or robots to help bring them up, meaning I had to go down to the lobby myself to pick them up. That's pretty unusual. Even a standard chain hotel would usually have someone help with deliveries."

"The hotel is located in the heart of Huashuiwan, close to the late-night snack area, where I'd recommend Hong Taiyang BBQ. Unlike summer, some of the hot springs at the hotel are quite warm in winter, which is very pleasant. I hope the hotel enforces its no-smoking policy in the hot springs. The hot spring area itself is lovely, but there's always the off-putting smell of smoke. The hot spring facilities are complete, featuring both dry and wet saunas, but there's no 'kakeyu' (rinse station) for washing off after using them. This means whether you return to the hot springs with sweat after a sauna is entirely up to individual discretion. This isn't really a drawback, as most hot springs in China don't have such rinsing facilities. If you're traveling solo and don't have a car, you can wait for the shuttle bus to go to Xueshan or back to Dayi County."
