"My stay at Jiaojiang 1982 Hotel far exceeded my expectations – I genuinely recommend it! The cultural heritage and vibrant local life of Jiaojiang are captivating. The old streets and alleys hide authentic flavors, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Garden Vegetable Market, offering a dazzling array of fresh seafood and local snacks. Specialties like 'qian gao' (glutinous rice cake) and 'mai you jian' (fried wheat pancake) left a lasting impression, truly a culinary feast in a 'city of mountains and seas.' The hotel's dining was equally surprising. The breakfast featured freshly cooked noodles and made-to-order Taizhou specialty snacks, complemented by freshly ground coffee and fresh fruit – the quality rivals that of a five-star hotel. What's even more heartwarming is the staff's genuine hospitality, from their smiling greetings upon check-in to proactively recommending dining routes and even preparing portable breakfasts for guests catching early flights. Their warmth and attentiveness felt just like family. The room comfort was perfect! The New Chinese design incorporates mountain and sea elements, and the fully smart amenities are convenient and thoughtful. The King Koil mattress paired with a choice of four pillows ensured a great night's sleep. The bathroom with a separate wet and dry area and a smart toilet..."

"I chose this hotel because it was close to the venue for Zhou Shen's concert in Taizhou. It's about a 10-15 minute walk. When checking in, they gave me a welcome gift bag with a small card of Zhou Shen and some sleep-enhancing items. The room environment was great, very clean, and all the facilities were in good condition. There was a 'tips' card already placed on the desk, which was very helpful! When ordering takeout, a robot delivers it to the room. The hotel's buffet breakfast had a wide variety of options, and everything tasted delicious. There were also plenty of dessert and drink choices. I especially loved the cucumber sparkling water!! Upon checkout, they even gave me a box of fruit. The front desk staff were all wonderful and very enthusiastic. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!!!"

"Here's the takeaway: excellent facilities, but just okay service – a bit of a shame overall. The hotel's public areas, rooms, and pool are very stylish and make for great photos. They've paid attention to the details too: bath salts, disposable bath liners, foot bath basins, multi-purpose charging cables, and wireless charging are all provided, making for a very convenient stay. However, breakfast was a real disappointment. The only highlight was the fresh-squeezed juice; everything else was mediocre. We came to Taizhou specifically for the local glutinous delicacies, and yet, despite egg mochi and other items being clearly advertised on a billboard above the restaurant, none were available when we asked. If they can't provide them, why advertise them and get people's hopes up? Service-wise, the cleaning staff and the pool receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the front desk staff had a poker face throughout, which was a stark contrast to the warm environment and lowered our first impression. In summary: It's great for photos and relaxation, but don't come here expecting a fantastic breakfast or warm service. I'd suggest the hotel focus more on improving breakfast and staff training at the front desk; otherwise, even the best facilities won't be enough to build a good reputation."

"The hotel service was excellent, and the room design was very clean and refreshing. When we arrived in the evening, a small robot even delivered delicious fruit to our room. The twin beds were quite large at 1.35 meters, making it very family-friendly for those with two children."

We arrived quite late, and when I asked the front desk about food options nearby, two lovely ladies at the front desk enthusiastically told us the restaurant offered late-night snacks like noodles, which was perfect for a quick bite. The room had a separate wet and dry area, and the air conditioning was turned on in advance, making it very comfortable. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay."

"Stayed here for Zhou Shen's concert in Taizhou, and the hotel service was excellent. They even provided a shuttle service to the concert. Although we had to wait a bit for the shuttle back at night, we still got back to the hotel smoothly. The concierge was very enthusiastic and helpful with all our questions. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting to both the mall and the stadium. Our room was clean and tidy. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a great variety including Taizhou's glutinous rice, spring rolls, and wheat pancakes. They even gave us a souvenir gift."

"Facilities: The overall facilities are still very new with no issues, as it's a newly opened hotel. Hygiene: Overall it was good, but there were some stains on the exterior of the window glass, which is somewhat unavoidable. The rest of the toilet and shower area were generally clean, with no obvious visible stains. Environment: It would be even better if there was a pillow menu. Breakfast was especially rich and definitely not to be missed."

"This is a relatively well-known five-star hotel in Taizhou. The lobby is spacious, but the rooms are on the smaller side. It's been renovated, so it doesn't feel old, and the facilities are decent, nothing extraordinary. However, the front desk service was terrible – arguably the worst I've encountered in years. We had two rooms booked with an elderly person and a baby, and we specifically requested them to be on the same floor. Despite the hotel not being very busy (it was after the Chinese New Year period), they insisted on putting us on two different floors. Any normal hotel would at least offer a complimentary upgrade for one of the rooms (to a similar-looking room, not necessarily a much better one), but the front desk staff seemed extremely reluctant. After much back and forth, we finally got into our rooms, only to find one had a faucet that leaked like a waterfall when turned on. How can such a significant facility bug go unmaintained and unrecorded by the hotel? Did they want to put us through all this trouble? And then they claimed there were no other rooms available and were unwilling to upgrade us… After over an hour of this ordeal, we were starving. The check-out experience was even more bizarre. We were all packed and ready to check out when we discovered our baby had pooped and needed a diaper change and a wash. Since the baby wasn't cooperating, we called guest services in advance to explain the situation and apologize for a potential 10-minute delay. The staff member said they would relay the message to the front desk and call us back. A few minutes later, guest services called back, saying the front desk insisted that even a one-minute late check-out would incur a charge… I was shocked. We travel frequently and have never encountered such a situation at any other hotel. I expressed my dissatisfaction over the phone. But the baby needed to be cleaned, so if they were going to charge, there was nothing we could do. Then, with just one or two minutes left until 2 PM, we received another call from the front desk urging us to check out… We frantically finished cleaning up, left the room a few minutes after 2 PM, and arrived at the front desk to check out at 2:10 PM. Although the front desk staff was busy with other things and didn't really pay attention, they ultimately didn't charge us. However, the entire experience was terrible. They were so unsympathetic. It wasn't a huge delay, just a few minutes, and we even called ahead, especially considering the special circumstances with a baby… Also, the hotel collected a 1000 RMB deposit from me, promising to refund it within half an hour of check-out. Yet, several hours after leaving the hotel, I still hadn't received the refund. I had to contact Trip.com customer service to get the deposit back. The front desk service, let alone being incomparable to a typical star-rated hotel, was far worse than even hotels like Huazhu Hotels Group's Mercure, Orange Hotel, or Crystal Orange. On the other hand, the housekeeping aunties and their supervisor were very good – extremely polite and understanding. If it weren't for them, my rating would have been even lower."

"I booked a three-night package deal through Ctrip, and the hotel room was quite spacious and very comfortable. The hygiene and environment were excellent. I'm a bit of a clean freak, so I always wipe down the nightstand and desk with sanitizing wipes when I check into any hotel, and there wasn't a speck of dust here. Also, I drink a lot of water, and the staff were very thoughtful, bringing me several extra bottles. I also dined at the hotel restaurant during my stay; the service was attentive, the food was delicious, and they even gave me a discount. All in all, I was extremely satisfied."
