"We were visiting Wanfo Mountain in Kaifeng and decided to stop by Xuchang on our way home to check out Pang Dong Lai. We picked this hotel last minute and checked in around 1 AM. The front desk staff member was very handsome and provided excellent service. My kids love mahjong, so we chose the mahjong room. The room was incredibly clean, and the mahjong area was separate from the sleeping area, which made the space feel huge. It's honestly the most spacious room I've ever seen! They even provided 8 bottles of mineral water. As soon as I entered, I checked the sheets and duvet covers – they felt luxurious, and we had a great night's sleep. The next morning, we headed to Pang Dong Lai, and the staff even told us about a shortcut that's only a 10-minute walk away. Early in the morning, the security guard had already washed the dust off our car. Honestly, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Considering the price, room facilities, and overall service, this is by far the best value for money we've ever experienced as a family traveling. If we get the chance to visit again, we'll definitely stay here. Highly recommend!"

"Stayed at the Atour Hotel Xuchang Angel City two days ago, specifically for Pang Donglai (a department store/supermarket). This hotel has definitely won me over: the room facilities are relatively new and overall excellent. The air conditioning and bathroom are fantastic, the room is simple yet elegant, and the bedding is clean. The front desk and housekeeping staff are all very kind and thoughtful. The elevator goes directly down to B1, providing access to Pang Donglai Supermarket (assuming no crowd control), and you can even take the shopping cart all the way up to your floor, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel lobby is beautiful, grand, and elegant, offering great comfort. When checking out, we even received bottled water for our journey, which was a lovely touch. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"Very satisfied. I book this hotel every time I'm on a business trip. I really like that there's a free laundry room and a gym on the second floor, plus free parking. It was raining in Xuchang today, and the hotel thoughtfully provided umbrellas, which was a great service. They also offer complimentary late check-out. The security is excellent, the bed is very comfortable and clean. For the price, it offers great value for money."

"We stayed at this hotel for 8 days, and the location is excellent and very convenient, with many shops just a short walk away. The staff service was wonderful, especially the room service staff, “鸽姐”Her ever-smiling face made us feel truly at home. Every day when we returned to our room, we would find two hot drinks on the table along with a small handwritten note. Sometimes, she would even leave a message to let me know that she had helped wash my socks after noticing them on the floor. These thoughtful gestures really touched me and made me feel warm and cared for. Another staff member, Mr. Wang Shuaiju (王帅举), welcomed us when we first arrived and also saw us off when we left. He was friendly and attentive, even reminding us to grab a hot drink before heading back to our room. Overall, I felt very pleased and grateful for the excellent service throughout our stay."

The right is the Moon Center and the left is the guest room. It may be that the two floors are opened, there is a gap, and it takes two steps to go down to continue. The room is clean and clean, equipped with disposable towels, and the air conditioning and cooling effect is very good! Excellent service, spotless and hygienic, and the room was a series of pleasant surprises. The clean and tidy environment was immediately impressive upon entering. The bedding was soft, made of raw cotton, and the mattress was perfectly firm. It came with two different types of pillows, making it incredibly comfortable to fall asleep immediately after a long night's travel. The hot water in the bathroom was consistent, the smart toilet was very convenient, and the soundproofing throughout the house was superb – I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway at all, even as a light sleeper like myself, I slept soundly. The most delightful feature was the window design; opening the curtains in the morning revealed a beautiful street view, and the bright, natural light was perfect for taking photos.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! I am currently visiting and do not speak a word of Chinese, which can usually make things stressful—but the team here made everything seamless. We had to communicate entirely through a translator app, and the staff couldn't have been more patient or kind. I ran into a bit of a crisis where I needed same-day dry cleaning, and the reception team jumped into action immediately. They handled the situation with such grace and efficiency, ensuring my clothes were ready right when I needed them. Why this hotel stands out: • The Reception Team: All the girls at the front desk are absolute gems. They are professional, lovely, and never made me feel like my language barrier was a burden. • True Hospitality: I felt welcomed from the second I arrived. Even the security guard at the entrance was incredibly friendly and helpful! • Top-Notch Service: They go above and beyond to assist with any request, no matter how complex the ”lost in translation” moment might be. The hotel is fairly close to the popular Pang Donglai restaurant, about a 15-minute walk. The rooms are very spacious, and the receptionist even upgraded us to a room with a bathtub for free – fantastic! Staying in the top-floor view room offered a panoramic vista of the surrounding mountains.

I must give 5 points of praise, if possible I would give 5+! ! ! The service is attentive and considerate to the point that I feel that Seven Star Hotel may not do better than him. From the welcome at the front desk to the parking lot, everything is in place, very friendly, and the hardware configuration is also very comprehensive. Breakfast was not included when booking, but the front desk took the initiative to give it to me and said that breakfast was 29 yuan per person. I didn't expect much at first, but unexpectedly the breakfast was very rich! I really stayed at a treasure hotel. I couldn’t help but ask the lady at the front desk if the hotel had anything to do with Fat Donglai. Of course I got a negative answer🤣The reason why I asked this was really because of their service It can be called the ”Fat Dong Lai” in the hotel industry, haha.

Absolutely thrilled with my stay, five stars for sure! The hotel's location is fantastic; it's right near Pang Dong Lai, which saved a lot of travel time. The service was another huge plus, from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was warm and attentive. They proactively helped with my luggage at check-in and patiently recommended local food and sightseeing routes. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and it was very quiet at night. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the city and will recommend it to friends.

I was expecting for a reception employees to know a little bit of English. When arrived I was surprised that I have to find a way to translate everything to Chinese. Then next day this was corrected, and I found that they put an employee that knows a little bit of English to the reception. Also, for that type and size of hotel, it would be great that they have something for relaxation and training - either gym, or SPA, or pool, etc. Everything else was great and I could see that they were giving their best to make my stay pleasant.
