"The staff is absolutely lovely. They gave me a room with a sea view, even though I booked a garden view. I was especially pleased with the gym: it's always empty, the equipment is limited, but it has the bare minimum. And Senggigi beach is wow! I regretted wasting my time in Kuta instead of coming here straight away. It was a special pleasure to swim with turtles, whose existence in this place I did not know."

"This is my second time staying here! They have really comfortable beds and reliable wifi for working. They have great room service and staff are always friendly. "Everything seems good – the cleanliness and interior are nice. However, it can get noisy at night if your room faces the pool, as it seems to resonate with the traffic from the road. There's a small gym available. The food is so-so; breakfast is mainly Asian, though the eggs were a saving grace."

"The hotel is amazing! The rooms are really good, and so is the pool. The breakfast is super complete with something for everyone! We absolutely loved the hotel part. Now, for the restaurant and spa… - Restaurant: Honestly, it's unacceptable to serve that kind of meat, which is a shame because the presentation is incredibly beautiful, the fries are good, and the sauce is amazing. However, the meat itself isn't real meat, let me explain. It's reconstituted meat, full of fat and god knows what else. There are no muscle fibers at all. It's supposed to be good meat with the texture and taste of real meat, but after tasting it, we sent the dish back! It’s the first time in our lives we've ever sent something back! We spoke with the chef and the manager, and they didn't charge us for it. They understood, but despite that, they're still serving this 'meat'. - Spa: Honestly, are you real masseuses or just employees doing multiple jobs?! I have never had such a catastrophic massage in my life; I actually cried by the end of it."

"Super hotel! It's very cozy with a beautiful, spacious property that's kept impeccably clean. The pool is excellent with ocean views, and the staff deserves a special mention – they are incredibly lovely, friendly, and helpful. Breakfasts are delicious and varied. There's also a private spa. The rooms are stylish, and the linens and towels are clean. It's a 15-minute ride to the port for the Gili Islands and 15 minutes to Pepito by scooter. You can get anywhere by scooter, and you can even book excursions right by the pool (we took a tour to Mount Rinjani). But for those who just want to chill, this hotel is perfect; you can have lunch and dinner at the restaurant. There's a bar, shisha, cocktails 👍, billiards, and darts. The sunsets on the beach are magnificent, and there were themed bonfire parties on the shore several times 😍. Super manager Jay fulfilled any request instantly 🤝, and the hotel manager always keeps everything under control, which is why it's so clean and beautiful 😍. Thank you for a fantastic vacation 🫶. We will definitely be back again ❤️."

"The location is excellent, right in the heart of Mataram and within walking distance to a large shopping mall. On top of that, it boasts a spacious garden and a swimming pool, making the environment truly superb. However, the room itself was a bit disappointing. The towels provided were quite yellowed, and the shower only had one shower gel, with no soap even at the sink. The breakfast was a buffet, and while the variety wasn't huge, everything tasted delicious (except for the orange juice, which was awful)."

"* If I'd let everything pass smoothly in my review, I wouldn't let this resort pass the 5 stars claim because it's not 5 stars as they claim! The satff are the heroes there. Without them I'll give 1 star review to everything. It really sadness me not to leave 5 stars for this resorts. I have to be honest to all the people who follow my reviews here and other platforms. I visit 30 - 40 different locations around the world annually and review them honestly as a professional reviewer. - The start: We're couple, we arrive 2 hours eatly not to check in but to drop our 2 small bags there and come back later in the day to check in. The lady at the front told us they only have a room with 2 single beds! A very bad start, especially since I booked 1 queen bed for a couple (where'sthe common sense?). The lady later said the room will be available after 3pm (I said, I'm only here to leave my bags for a few hours and check in later). She gave a a room with 1 queen size bed. The room was absolutely atrocious. A big gap in the door, a few geckos left poo on the bed (as seen in the photos) and it's a very old room (level 2, siff stairs, not for anyone with back problem or any type of injuries) and you have to walk literally 7 minutes with rough ground that will break the wheels of your luggage. I went back to the front desk and explained the situation. They gave me another room (Bangalow). - The new room: The room was ok (definitely not 5 stars hotel/resort). The bangalow consists of two rooms adjacent to each other with a door in between can be unlocked from both sides for a family (can be one room and two rooms at the same time). I could here the neighbours conversation clearly including their toilet time! So, no privacy if it's your priority (luckily I had people next door only for one night). The bathroom/shower is outdated and needs renovation. No pressure in the shower and had fast drips instead of stream/spray. The toilet seat was hard stained glue or someone's shoes, and the outdoor shower is even worse with the moss growing on it (as all can be seen in the photos). Gym: No gym, no fitness room or any of that sort. They said they are planning to have one... then how did they get 5 stars ranking since they never had a gym on site? It's a requirement to have a gym to obtain 5 stars hotel ranking. Their 5 stars was received through a local body (we all know how things work here). Their 5 stars isn't your global 5 stars. - Breakfast/Dinner Breakfast is below average as in quality and presentation (not 5 stars). A 3 stars hotel must have 4 continental dishes. This resort/hotel had only 3. This would place it below even 3 stars. However, the staf there are absolutely amazing and super helpful. They are the best you can get anywhere. I pointed a few things to the breakfast manager and she handled everything like a champion. All staff are excellent except the reception (they are good but needs some training). - The hotel/resorts in general: Good, interesting, staff are amazing. I understand it's the first resort in the area, but it's outdated and aged badly. The walk from your room to lobby is 5 -12 minutes walk depending on where you are (I measured everything). The walk from your room to outside it took me 18 minutes (and I'm a fast walker and athlete). I don't mind the walk but try to walk in the rain and heat (it rains every day here). - The view: One of the best views you'll get around sunset. The resort has some breathtaking corners where you'd appreciate nature and culture. That itself deserves my credit. - Would I book here again? It's a tough one. Maybe I'll go eat there especially dinner but I don't think I'll sleep there. During my visit to Lombok so far I've tried 5 different resorts (real 4-5 stars) and for the price I've paid here isn't worth it. I hope this review helped you my fellow traveller, and i wish the hotel/resort get their things better to pay them another visit and give them a better rating."

"A very typical Southeast Asian beachfront resort. Built right on the beach, you can enjoy breakfast to the sound of waves under the shade of trees on the sand in the morning. The breakfast spread is excellent. We booked a sea-view room on the ground floor with direct beach access, so privacy might be a slight concern, but it's very quiet once the door is closed. The hotel is next to the famous Cliff restaurant, a popular spot for sunset views. There's also a convenience store across the street, but not many other dining options nearby."

"Best value for money hotel in Kuta! Smart Double Room's interior is clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Room size though small, is surprisingly well-planned and contains everything you need (large TV, safe, toiletries, coffee/tea, clean flask that you can refill yourself at the lift lobby and a mini-size fridge to store a few bottles of drinks). Hairdryer needs to be requested from the reception if you need it for the duration of your stay. Aircon works perfectly and Wifi is fast and reliable. The location is very pleasant, quiet (I didn't hear prayer calls, noisy bar music or roosters like elsewhere in Kuta) and convenient (a few minimarts and restaurants nearby and 5-minutes' walk to beach). Staff are very friendly, helpful and responded quickly when I requested for help (I'm impressed!). I didn't have breakfast there as I find the buffet selection but not quite my taste but I did have a-la-carte lunches and dinners there (affordable Indonesian and Western dishes) and enjoyed the flavourful and well-presented dishes thoroughly! The only improvement needed is to have some hooks in the shower room."
