The front desk staff were very welcoming when I checked in and even upgraded my room. If you plan to stay, I recommend booking in advance, as they often sell out on weekends."

"The rooms are well-equipped and spacious, with three bedrooms and a living room, offering eight beds in total. The sheets are clean and soft. Laundry and drying facilities are convenient, and there's private parking available, with the added bonus of car wash access."

"Te Anau is located in the very south of New Zealand, so the whole town has a very laid-back atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. There's a supermarket here too, so we bought some steaks and enjoyed dinner while admiring the view outside our window. You can also take a stroll along the lakefront. It's incredibly pleasant."

"Overall, the hotel is a bit dated, but it's clean and tidy. It's a good overnight option if you're stopping over on your way to Milford Sound. The breakfast selection is a bit limited; in addition to the buffet, there are à la carte Western breakfast items. The hotel is right across from a lake, so the view is quite nice."

"Please inform customers before you change the rooms for them. I had booked mine for the bath, then you gave me a different room on arrival, not even explaining why you had to change the rooms. So I had to see staff at the reception again after checking to sort it out. In the end, i got the room with the bath.I am sorry to say that your place smelt musty that is not right for accommodation for the health and safety reasons. I have also found mould in the bathroom you might want to look at. Hope all gets sorted soon. Thanks. Best."

"The family room's beds, I believe both are two 0.9m beds pushed together, which made them quite large. Parking right outside the room was very convenient. The bathroom was spacious, but a bit empty; it would be better with some hooks. The shower gel and shampoo were in individual bottles, and should have been placed on a caddy in the shower, rather than under the sink. My child didn't even notice them and just rinsed with hot water. It would be even more convenient if there was an additional sink at the mini-bar counter. It's only a ten-minute walk to the Firefly Cave jetty, and about eight minutes to nearby restaurants, which is very handy. VILLAGE INN also has its own restaurant, but we arrived late at 7 PM on New Year's Eve, and they couldn't accommodate us. We were also rushing to catch the 8:15 PM Firefly Cave boat, so we didn't get to eat there."

"One of the best places we stayed in south island NZ. Firstly the staffs at the receptions are so welcoming, they're one of the highlights of this accommodation. The 2BR room was spacious, clean, modern and located right beside the lake. They're also a short walk away from the supermarket and glowworm office. Absolutely beautiful place! We highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a place in Te Anau."

"Love this place very much. Very clean and spacious room, there were elderly friendly toilet & bathroom ( we had another bathroom with bathtub). The kitchen is well equipped. The view overlooking the lake was superb. Jetty to glowworms just in walking distance (1km). Numerous restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance as well (1-1.5km). You can just park your car in the apartment and walk slowly along the lake to enjoy the stunning scenery."
