"Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. You can snorkel directly in front of the hotel, and there are more fish near the coral reefs, but I wouldn't recommend going there if the waves are big. It's best to wear long pants and diving socks to avoid scratches. The sand right outside is very fine and soft. Breakfast is served by the sea with ocean views. The bar street can get a bit noisy at night, so it might not be suitable for light sleepers, but since we usually go to bed late, it didn't bother us. A major plus is that the bedsheets are changed for every new guest. The room has many windows, making it bright and airy. The only downsides are that the shower only has a handheld showerhead and the water pressure is a bit low. For shopping, try to go to the 7-Eleven on the main street, as the supermarket here is about a third more expensive. Overall, it offers great value for money and is perfect for a relaxing holiday."

"The hotel is excellent, and we received a friendly welcome. Check-in is from 2 PM, but you can leave your luggage at the front desk for free. The room is clean and nice, the TV works, and the air conditioning blows well. Breakfasts are typical for Thailand. The location is near the sea, but the beach is small. Overall, everything was satisfactory: the price, the service, and the rooms."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The entire property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The service was excellent, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The pool was very clean, and the sea was crystal clear and beautiful. A special thanks goes to the housekeeping team, who did an outstanding job every day and kept everything spotless. The only downside is that the hotel is located quite far from the city center. In addition, the prices for food and drinks are higher than in other areas. However, the food is of excellent quality and tastes delicious, making it worth the extra cost. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again."

"I've stayed on both the south and north sides of the island, and the advantages of Sacaya are clearly evident. Firstly, it's very close to the main street and 7-Eleven, making shopping, dining, and renting a scooter incredibly convenient, all within a few minutes' walk. Secondly, there are three pools: the leisure village resort pool and the beachfront pool, all perfect for a swim. Thirdly, it's very, very close to the beach. When I first booked, I couldn't tell the different room locations, but the bungalows and deluxe rooms seem to be the closest to the sea. Of course, it also depends on the angle; there are more reefs near the 'Love Tree' area and a long sandy beach near the bar/restaurant. Fourthly, there's a daily fire show and boat pick-up/drop-off service. Fifthly, the breakfast buffet offers a good variety. The service staff and the security guards across the street were all very friendly, smiling, and welcoming."

"“Good Location but NOT Good Service Mind” I’ve traveled to Koh Samed several times and usually like to stay at different hotels each time. I came across the good reviews of this hotel, so I decided to book it for my parents and me because the location is convenient. I’ve also visited the restaurant under the hotel several times for food and drinks. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. The equipment in the room was quite old and rusty. At around 2 a.m., the hot-water pipe under the sink broke, causing hot water to splash over the toilet. We tried calling the hotel, but no one answered the phone, so we decided to walk to the reception. The way to the reception was very dark and quite scary. When we arrived, the reception was closed and there was no one around. Eventually, we found a security guard sitting near the beach and asked him for help. He came to check the issue and offered to move us to another room. However, we were extremely tired at around 3 a.m., so we told him that if the problem could be fixed, we would prefer to stay in the same room. When I checked out the next morning, I informed the female staff member at reception (the lady with glasses) about what had happened during the night. What really disappointed me was her first response. Instead of apologizing or asking what happened, she said with an annoyed expression: “He already offered to change the room for you, right?” I was honestly surprised by this response. As a customer, I wasn’t complaining about not being offered another room. I was simply informing the hotel about a serious issue that happened in the middle of the night and the fact that no one answered the hotel phone when we needed help. She then asked why I didn’t call the hotel. I explained that I had tried calling several times, but no one answered. She looked surprised by this, which made me wonder whether the hotel was even aware that the phone was not being answered. I would have been completely fine if she had simply apologized and explained what happened clearly. Unfortunately, her attitude and lack of empathy made the situation much worse. The location is good, and I’ve actually enjoyed visiting the restaurant here before. But good location and good food cannot make up for poor customer service, especially when a guest needs assistance in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, I definitely won’t come back to stay here again, and I’ll also reconsider visiting the restaurant. I gave 1 star on service for the staff who checked in us, she was friendly and helpful."

"Small island, max. 2 nights booking. Beautiful views nearby. The hotel itself offers good service but there weren't many people staying there. You can eat at the hotel, but at other restaurants, there are people trying to attract customers, whereas at the hotel, there's no one. The food prices are also higher than at other restaurants. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

"Hotel Review Good Points: 1. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. 2. The room rate was affordable and offered great value for money. 3. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. 4. The breakfast was delicious, with a good selection of both Thai and international dishes. 5. The location was excellent—close to the beach and convenient for getting around. 6. There was a parking area available for motorbikes, which was very convenient. 7. There was a fire dance performance every day at 7:00 PM, which was entertaining and added to the overall atmosphere. 8.There are many kinds of one day tour provided, which is same price as other tour companies. 9.Just only 10mins walk from hotel to 7-11 Things to Improve: 1. Nothing. I had a great stay and was very satisfied with the overall experience."

"We traveled with a rather complex group: my mother plus two children (ages 9 and 14). During our stay, we were very impressed with the high quality of service: we were met at the pier with sun umbrellas, and the housekeeping was excellent. The room was in good condition, everything was clean, and there wasn't much wear and tear. We handled meals this way: we had dinner at the restaurants (there are 3, one for each hotel), and both times it cost us around 1500 Baht for all three of us, which was comparable to what we spent in Pattaya, where we also saw a show (on Fridays). If you don't have kids, you can rent a scooter and go to the other side of the island where there's a huge selection of places to eat. For lunch, we had fruits, yogurts, salads, snacks, etc., which we bought once at 7-Eleven on the other side of the island; the round trip cost 400 Baht. Compared to Pattaya, the sea here is incredibly clean and clear – true relaxation. I was worried the journey would be difficult, but we traveled in the middle of the day when you can't do much anyway due to the heat. It was 1.5 hours from Pattaya, 2 hours to Bangkok, and then a quick 10-15 minute boat ride. The hotel has its own pier, which is cool, clean, and offers inexpensive drinks. For those who are panically afraid of lizards, snakes, and other critters, it might be best not to go to this island, as they can crawl into the room. And mosquitoes (!) – there's a fumigator and repellents in the room, but I still got bitten (though I always do; for example, the children weren't bitten). In all other respects, it was a magnificent trip, and the boat ride to the island was an attraction in itself. I plan to repeat this experience and stay for 4-5 days next time."

"Even though Koh Samet isn't a very large island, after exploring a bit, my favorite spot was definitely the beach right in front of the hotel. The waves were gentle, the sand was clean, and it wasn't as crowded as Diamond Beach. While it's about 2.5 kilometers from the main street, the hotel front desk can arrange scooter rentals or help you call a songthaew for 200 THB one way. There's also a small pier directly in front of the hotel, so you can take a speedboat straight from Ban Phe Pier to the hotel for 300 THB one way. If you plan to use this service for a round trip, it's best to confirm the times with the hotel in advance. The hotel's breakfast selection was really limited, but honestly, that's pretty standard for the entire island. My family of three had a perfect 5-day stay here, and my child absolutely loved it. All the staff at the resort were very nice, especially the young man at the front desk who provided excellent service."
