"the accessibility of the hotel is great, it’s right next to a metro station and it’s only a fifteen taxi ride away from the airport the service of the hotel is good too, though sometimes the english fluency might be so-so from some staff, but it’s perfectly fine the hotel is also very soviet because it was built from the 1970s. however it did made some amenities to be too old to function well. for instance, the toilet wouldn’t flush during every morning. the breakfast’s quality is so-so too, some boiled vegetables are cold already when i had them."

"Pros: The location is excellent, and the breakfasts are varied and delicious. The rooms are clean. Prices for everything in the lobby are reasonable. Cons: The room smelled damp, which I believe was coming from the bathroom. The view was of an inner courtyard, so there was no view at all; you didn't even need to go near the window. It's hard to call the fitness room a fitness room: there's one bench, 4-5 pairs of dumbbells, mats, a couple of treadmills, and that's it. No pull-up bar, no weight bench, no barbells – a lot is missing. We didn't go to the spa, so I can't comment on it. It was my wife's birthday, and we hoped for a small gift from the hotel, but there wasn't one. It's not a big deal, of course, but that kind of attention makes you want to return to such places. Overall: Not bad, but it could have been better!"

BeShic Hostel is located on a “gastronomic street” lined with restaurants and cafes that are open 24/7, right in the heart of Tashkent (Kamolon district). Within walking distance are Magic City, Tashkent City Mall, Next Mall, and Seoul Moon Food Mall, as well as the Museum-Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent. The “Milliy Bog” metro station is 2 minute walk. The airport is by taxi 15 minutes, and the North Railway Station by taxi 15 minutes. New hostel, with free Wi-Fi, free laundry and ironing services, separate men’s and women’s rooms and bathrooms, and cozy rooms with panoramic windows and air conditioning. Guests have access to a modern kitchen equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwaves, electric kettles, a rice cooker, and everything needed for light cooking. Free luggage room with luggage scales is available. Friendly staff and everything you need to relax and refresh yourself.

"Pros: - 3-minute walk to the subway station. - 5-minute walk to a small grocery store. - 7-minute walk to a liquor store. - You can enter through the back gate of Magic City Park and walk to Seoul Gate. - The best accommodation for budget travelers visiting Tashkent. - The toilets and showers were always clean, with ample water pressure, so there was never a wait. Cons: - The accommodation is on the third floor, accessible only by stairs. - The front desk provided no explanation of the facilities, which should be improved. - Room 3, near the entrance, and Rooms 8 and 9, near the communal kitchen, can be problematic. The slamming of the entrance door and the loud chatter from impolite foreigners in the communal kitchen late into the night can be very annoying. And yes, there were quite a few Indian and Chinese guests here too, haha. If you can overlook the cons, this would be an excellent choice."

"A wonderful hotel with spacious, bright lobby and decor of traditional Uzbeks, mosaics and colors, which we love. Room is good size and again the prints on the wall, the curtain, all has that local touch ! The only disappointment was, the safe box didnt work, no mini fridge though the description says so. The reception got us a new room, but it was not good as well. The room doesnt look guests ready and air cond wasnt working. And the next day, there was water disruption and no notice was given. Lastly, you can skip breakfast, it wasnt good either."

"I rated the service highly because the guys at the reception were very helpful. I'm giving the hotel a high rating just because of them. As for cleanliness, it wasn't great. There was hair on the floor in the room, and the plumbing wasn't in very good condition. The mattress was a real disappointment... When one person turns over, the other 'rocks on the waves'. The food was delicious, and the interior is very beautiful. The hotel itself is stunning. Suggestions for improvement: better mattresses, non-leaky faucets, and a working hammam. (We happened to be there on a day when it was apparently broken... the steam generator was running non-stop. We told the reception, and the next day the hammam wasn't working, presumably being repaired. I hope it's fixed now). Thanks to the staff for their responsiveness and help 🌺"

The Krokus Plaza Hotel is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Tashkent, having been recently renovated in 2024. The hotel is only 3km from Eshlik and 7km from Tashkent International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. This hotel is located near many of Tashkent's attractions including Pamyatnik A.S. Pushkinu, Do‘stlik bog‘i and Bell of Friendship. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Tashkent hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling on business.

"This is my second time staying at this hotel. The room is exceptionally spacious, and while the decor is a bit dated, it's acceptable, and the cleanliness is good. The hotel has several Chinese staff members, so if you encounter any communication issues, you can always find someone to help. The breakfast is Chinese-style, which is a big plus for travelers who've been eating local cuisine. The Wi-Fi is also decent. Now for some downsides. Firstly, the room I stayed in this time was odd. There was a beam by the bed that was less than 1.7 meters high. This means if you get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and forget about the low beam, you'll undoubtedly bump your head. I suggest they get a designer to reconfigure the room layout slightly. Secondly, there's no desk or chair in the room, making it impossible to work. Thirdly, the fourth floor frequently experiences water outages, while the first and second floors are fine, suggesting a water pressure issue. I had to go to the public restroom on B1 to use the toilet and wash up in the mornings. A Chinese tour guide complained to the front desk, stating this had been happening for two days and her guests wanted to check out and move rooms. The front desk staff just shrugged, saying there was nothing they could do. Finally, I stayed for several days, but at check-out, the small receipt only showed one day (even though I had been in the country for a week). The front desk claimed the system was down. I politely asked if they could provide an alternative document to prove I was registered, as I needed it for customs. I wasn't pushy, but the front desk staff seemed impatient and said they couldn't give me anything since the system was broken. Fortunately, there was a long queue at immigration when I left, and the border control didn't check."

Located in Tashkent, STELLA HOTEL TASHKENT is a great base to explore the city from. This property is home to a restaurant. The property's front desk offers service in 3 languages, including English. This property also offers free luggage storage. Parking is available at the property.

"Starting with the positives: 1. The breakfast quality is highly rated. 2. A free airport shuttle is provided. 3. The staff are noted for their friendly attitude. Now, let's move on to areas needing attention: 1. During check-in, there was a discrepancy in the room rate (the hotel administration stated that the booking at the advertised price was canceled and required payment at a higher rate than shown on the website). 2. The cleanliness level in the room did not meet expectations (it was very dusty). 3. There was a high level of noise in the room (renovation work was being carried out on the fourth floor during our stay). 4. The shower in the bathroom wasn't working (we reported it, and they immediately replaced it with another broken one)."

Mercure Hotel Tashkent South is designed for business trips and leisure. There are many reasons to book accommodation here: it is located near the airport, business centers, historical attractions. There are conference halls with modern equipment that are suitable for meetings and events. Choose a spacious room or suite and enjoy the beautiful view, plenty of storage space and space where you can feel at home.

"The hotel is quite large, and while the room layout is a bit unusual, it's spacious enough. A pleasant surprise was the big, well-equipped gym, and another was the excellent breakfast, especially the incredibly delicious meat patty. On the day of check-out, I had to leave early to catch a train, and the front desk thoughtfully packed two large bags of breakfast for me, which I really appreciated. The location is a bit out of the way, and there don't seem to be any convenient subway stations nearby. There's also not much to do at night. However, Tashkent isn't that big, and taxis are cheap, so it wasn't a major issue."

Overall, I really liked the hotel. It's perfectly located on a quiet street, yet everything you need is nearby, and it's convenient and affordable to get to any part of the city. The staff at reception were all very welcoming; the lovely girl, Esoza, was particularly pleasant, and all the male staff were polite and attentive. You can approach them with any request 👍😊. The standard room is quite small, making it difficult for two people to move around freely 😁, but it has everything you need: slippers, excellent soft towels, and in the bathroom, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, and a comfortable shower with good drainage (no water pooling on the floor) and multiple settings. It's convenient that there are full-length mirrors on the room door and in the bathroom. The plumbing is excellent, and the room's interior is well-chosen. The bed and pillows are comfortable and soft. A thoughtful touch is the direct phone charging capability in the outlets, no adapter needed 👍. There's also a kettle, cups, coffee, and tea. We found there weren't enough hangers for clothes – only two. But we asked reception, and they brought us two more!) Breakfasts were decent, though sometimes there was no hot food (except scrambled eggs), or no jam or yogurt, or the coffee machine wasn't working. I was surprised that during cherry and apricot season, the only fruits available at breakfast were sliced oranges, apples, and pears, which were clearly imported and quite tasteless. Nevertheless, the staff definitely try their best, and you certainly won't go hungry 😊. Kudos for having dried apricots and walnuts!👍 By the way, we read reviews about the Chinese restaurant nearby (next door). We went for dinner and really regretted it. Only one waitress understood Russian, and she recommended a dish of chopped chicken pieces – it was a total disaster, mystery chicken parts with lots of tiny bones, and incredibly spicy. For something more recognizable, we also ordered potato slices, supposedly like Korean carrots, but they turned out half-stewed, half-raw. For two dishes and green tea, only managing to eat half, we paid 400,000 Sum. We'll remember it like a nightmare 😔. Thankfully, we later found perfectly acceptable eateries 👍. Best wishes to everyone, and prosperity to the hotel! 🙏

I stayed at Hilton Tashkent City for four day, and the experience was deeply disappointing, mainly due to poor housekeeping, indifferent staff, and an overall lack of respect toward guests. Upon check-in, I discovered that the shampoo bottle was empty and the tissue box was empty. I immediately left a written note for housekeeping requesting to refill amenities and clean the room. However, when I returned later, the room had not been cleaned at all, and none of the requested items were refilled. When I contacted the staff again to request shampoo, tissues, and bottles of water, they were delivered one by one, as if each item required a separate reminder. This created a strong impression that guest comfort is not a priority, and that requests are treated carelessly and easily forgotten. The attitude of the reception staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. At times, it felt as though guests were an inconvenience rather than the purpose of the hotel. When raising complaints, the response was slow and dismissive, making me feel that it was better not to complain at all because no one truly cared. Despite spending over $1,000 on a very short stay, the checkout experience was particularly unpleasant. On the day of departure, my wife and I were repeatedly pressured to check out early. Even after showing confirmation from the booking website stating that checkout was before 13:00, the staff continued to argue that “before” meant leaving immediately. They knocked on the door once and called the room twice demanding checkout. I eventually left the room at 12:50, yet the pressure and tone were completely unacceptable. This hotel seriously fails to meet the service standards expected from the Hilton brand. The lack of care, poor communication, and dismissive attitude toward paying guests made the stay stressful rather than comfortable. I would not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made in staff training and guest service culture.

New hotel! The twin room had two 1.3m single beds, not the 0.8m ones shown on the website. The draft beer at the lobby bar was good value at around 20 RMB for 0.5 liters. Breakfast was also good. Using a ride-hailing app linked to a credit card was convenient. The service was friendly. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Amir Timur Square, where you can catch the red double-decker hop-on hop-off bus for sights like the Amir Timur Museum, the Grand Bazaar, mosques, and other city attractions. We even ran into a Chinese tour group there.

The hotel is pretty new so the rooms are in good condition. The breakfast was good too. My mom loved the porridge so much she said it reminded her childhood flavor! The location is also good only 7 mins walk to the metro. The only thing i was icky is the receptionists. They don’t know basic communication skills. If i asked a question they ended up answering with mimicking or using very limited words. FYI i’m fluent in local languages. There should be a person who actually talk and answer to questions clearly with full sentences!!! It made me mad and self conscious for my language skills lol. I asked to use the luggage storage service as we arrived earlier than the checkin time and when we asked to get our stuff, the receptionist just again mimicked with his head pointing the room where our stuff was. I figured he’s asking us to go there and get ourselves and so we did even though they should usually handle our stuff by themselves instead of asking guests to go in a room full of pantry items and other luggage!! Even though we requested the cleaning services , they didn’t change the towels! What’s the point of room cleaning if they don’t change the towels lol! I think They could do better if they learn a little bit about customer service.

We booked a room for one night – and that’s probably the maximum you can endure at this hotel. On the positive side, the room had heated floors in the bathroom, a wardrobe, a safe, a tasty breakfast in the morning, and panoramic windows in the dining area. That's where the good points end. The interior clearly needs renovation: the floor is worn laminate, which looks untidy. We booked a room that was 20-25 sq m, but in reality, it turned out to be about 15 sq m. But the main issue is cleanliness. In the bathroom, near the sink, there were dead insects on the wall. This isn't just unpleasant; it raises questions about the establishment's sanitary standards. Additionally, we were unpleasantly surprised by the headboard, which had dark stains, also indicating a lack of proper cleaning. If you're planning to stay here for several days, think carefully: the conditions, in my opinion, don't even meet basic standards. Also, a deposit equivalent to one night's stay is held upon booking and returned after check-out. The money is returned after a week, so don't expect to get it back the very next day.

Friendly staff who are understanding and check you in very quickly. They speak Russian. It's very clean with daily room cleaning. The rooms are equipped with everything you need. The front desk staff were excellent, always ready to answer any questions. The location is great, not far from the subway, bus stops, and the train station, and you can even get there by bus from the airport. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities, plus there's a pool and a smoking area. The price was fair, and the self-service breakfast was free, on time, and offered a good variety. I stayed for three days, and the breakfast menu changed a bit each day, definitely worth the price! Plus, there's parking available.

I checked in around 8pm and was greeted by a staff in the evening shift (I did not asked his name). I asked for a SIM card if I could buy in the morning , he said could offer a free just need to top up tomorrow 9am his colleagues will settle. But early morning I was waiting for 9-9:30 there is no one knew about this . I also asked for late check out, he said could extend only til 1pm unless I will need to settle 50% extra and I agreed coz my flight is 22:30pm but in the morning when I came to settle late check out fee, there is again no one know how to do only they said they will check with their manager . I only stayed one night in Tashkent due to my flight need to overnight transit but the team make my stay very unpleasant and not comfortable. Again , I got a friend who come to visit me just 1hr, but the hotel did not allow and that evening staff again , stop my friend and said he can stay inside my room Only 3mn, if late than 3mn, he will call my room number or even send someone . he said this is hotel rule . Omg . The way he replied and did were so unprofessional and rude and very fiere like I am a criminal . Until I complaint and asked to meet manager couple times , he agreed to let my friend stay only 1hr and needed to pay a tourist fee. Bad service , not skilled team and I will never ever come back to this hotel again !

Finding the hotel was challenging. Took me circumvate the entire train station twice when I finally called them for direction. Imagine the station is huge & with my luggages & crossing the security twice, even the security were clueless. The front desk lady was sweet & nice to walk out & directed me. That was a huge help. I think they should place clear signages. Check-In process was a nightmare. They couldn’t confirmed my booking even though I have shown the confirmed voucher online. After much deliberation they accepted my booking. Next come the payment. None of my cards was accepted even though i have been using them throughout my 2 weeks travel in Uzbekistan. They would not allow me to check in until full payment was made. Since I only have USD, they insist that I change at the nearest bank. A nice consolation was that a young front desk staff willingly to walk me to the hotel. All these took me around 2 stressful hours walking in & out & around. The hostel is very new. Super huge room, again brand new. Super clean. But I don’t understand why not a single basic amenities was provided; body soap or shampoo. The front desk however promptly provided upon request the following day. I believe most who stayed usually 1-night. The location was almost perfect, if only the hotel guests don’t need to keep going through the security scanning every each time both going in & out. Imagine I’m staying 3 nights. My advice please ensure you have local SOM for payment in case your card is not accepted. The hotel is on the left end of the station (if you exit from the train looking towards the building station) it’s better that you call them once you feel lost as the assist you the direction. Just be mindful that you need to go through the security scan every each time you enter & exit. However, if someone planning a train connection to other cities, this is 100% spot on recommended. I would like to commend on the front staff lady, Dildora for her professionalism & calm demeanour. Thank you.

We were choosing between this hotel and the Uzbekistan hotel which is nearby! Friends were staying in Uzbekistan! One of the downsides in comparing these two hotels is that they charged a tourist tax, so the accommodation was more expensive! Breakfasts are more modest, again in comparison with the neighboring hotel, but the main thing is there, except... Coffee 😬 Only for a fee! There is some in Uzbekistan 🙏 But... Initially, the guys in Uzbekistan were put in a room where their windows were not only blown in, but were blown away by the wind! An extra bed for a child, they just threw in mattresses 🫣 Only after swearing and other things, they changed them to a room with renovations! This hotel doesn't have such a problem! The room is large, quite warm! Clean, tidy! Yes, the renovation is certainly not fresh, but it's not worn out either 🙏 In general, you can live! The price and quality match! Otherwise, if you want the Soviet era, welcome to Hotel Uzbekistan! And if not, then to La Grande! There is also a swimming pool, I think with the hotter weather it will be open!
