Cheap Hotels in Tashkent

"This was my third stay at this hotel. I was in room 616. I had a good room with a large sink and good bathroom. The room was very hot on the third night and the air con struggled as it was just too hot. It reached 45 degrees today so hot everywhere. The lobby area is cool and there is cold water to drink so you can stay cool. What I liked the most about this hotel is the centrality of it, you can get everywhere on the tube and lots of museums are close by. The centrality park in the square is lovely to sit and enjoy the city and take a picnic. I’ve been pretty detailed in my previous posts so you can view the images and suggested ideas for visits. The hotel had a lot of groups in while I was visiting. The breakfast areas were very busy in the morning but the hotel itself is very quiet and I had a great nights sleep on my whole stay. The staff are very helpful and considerate. They have a very good and safe left luggage which I used on my final day. I really enjoyed the cosmopolitan feel of this city hotel and I would definitely stay again next time I visit Tashkent! I’m uploading some images of the lobby and the markets I visited today. To escape the heat I had long rides on the subway and admired the art!"

"First off, the in-room Wi-Fi was terrible, almost unusable. We checked in on Chinese New Year's Eve, hoping to watch the Spring Festival Gala, but the CCTV4 signal was poor and then cut out completely. The breakfast offered a good variety, but it was a bit cold and not particularly tasty. However, the staff member there was quite enthusiastic. There's an ATM in the lobby for cash withdrawals, which accepts Visa, but UnionPay cards didn't work. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a metro station and the Uzbekistan Hotel. When we checked out, an older gentleman was charmingly playing the piano in the lobby bar, all smiles~"

"This hotel is within walking distance of Tashkent's main landmarks, such as Amir Timur Square and Alisher Navoi Opera Theatre, as well as several large parks. The nearest subway station is about 800 meters away, and there are many famous restaurants (like Fish and Bread) and cafes around the hotel and even on the ground floor of the building. This means you can enjoy a wealth of amenities without having to travel far. Safety: Highly recommended for solo travelers. Located on a main street (Islom Karimov Street) in the heart of Tashkent, there's a consistent flow of people and good street lighting, making it very safe even when returning late at night. The luggage storage service is also very reliable, allowing you to securely leave your belongings while exploring other areas. Staff Friendliness: I felt a 'warmth like home' during my stay. The reception staff are incredibly friendly and proactive in resolving any minor issues or requests in the room. Breakfast: The breakfast spread, including fruits and cakes, is excellent."

"We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It's a fantastic hotel located in a quiet neighborhood, boasting a cozy courtyard that hides three pools. As soon as we arrived, staff met us at the entrance and helped with our luggage. After completing the check-in formalities, we were shown to our room. The room was spotless and came with bottled water, replenished daily, along with toiletries, slippers, bathrobes, combs, and more. The air conditioning worked quietly even in the heat. Housekeeping was done daily. The next day, a buffet-style breakfast awaited us on the -1 floor. There was a rich selection, and we especially enjoyed the fresh fruits – melon and watermelon. Within the hotel grounds, there are three pools: one outdoor in the sun, and two indoor. There's also a Hammam and a Finnish sauna. Our stay at this hotel was worth every soum. We absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tashkent. The location is very close to the road leading to the airport, a 7-minute taxi ride. The city bus stops right in front of the hotel entrance."

"The hostel is located in a nice area, with a park across the street and plenty to see. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the metro station, where you'll find shops and cafes. The hostel was clean, and I liked everything about it. Highly recommend!"

Good time at the swimming pool and the breakfast time consisted out of lovely selection of international and Chinese food. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The hotel’s location is convenient while still offering a relaxing and quiet atmosphere—exactly what we were looking for to unwind. One of the best parts of our stay was the staff. "The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was excellent with a great variety of delicious cakes and about eight or nine types of fruit. The front desk staff helped us with our luggage. There are two restaurants associated with the hotel, and across the street is a local restaurant with tasty baked buns. To the right of the exit, there's a Turkish restaurant."

"We were very happy with the hotel!! 1. The location is super!!! You can walk to Tashkent City, Navruz Park, and the market in just 7 minutes. There are several parks nearby for walks!! Shops and a shopping center with great prices! There's a bank next door and three mobile operators directly opposite, which is very convenient for those who need to get a SIM card. The hotel has a large swimming pool. There are rarely more than 4 people, so it's perfect for unwinding after a day of walking. Several metro stations are also nearby!! Every room has an umbrella in case of rain!! The breakfasts are excellent! Room service is magical!! The rooms are large with sofas and a coffee machine, and the toiletries in the bathroom are very high quality. The only downside is the outdated wardrobes, BUT the bedding, towels, and bathrobes are luxurious. A special thank you for the linen spray!! The positives outweigh this minor wardrobe issue by 1000 percent. Well done, keep up the great work 👏 We will definitely be back. 🫶"

"Excellent stay and essential support for overland travelers! ”I had a great stay at Medina Town Hotel. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. However, what impressed me most was the staff's helpfulness regarding administrative requirements. Since I am traveling to Turkmenistan via the land border, having a proper registration paper (with QR code) is mandatory. The hotel staff was very professional and provided me with the printed registration and a stamped invoice immediately. This gave me great peace of mind for my upcoming border crossing. Highly recommend this hotel for any international travelers, especially those on a transit journey!”"
