"I got checked into a room which already had a guest in it. The desk clerk, all be a bit flustered, and sorted it out. After departure, my credit card was charged for another guests room service dinner. After having to prove that I didn’t stay in the room they thought I did, as well as prove that the signature, which didn’t look anything like mine, wasn’t mine and that I wasn’t even checked in at the hotel when the room service order was placed, I received the money back. Due to this, I doubt I will be back & I had stayed there plenty of times. The room is a bit tired, but was clean."

"We stayed in a long stay studio. Was good I think it had been renovated before. Just the room looks a bit dark as it painted in black. They have a good restaurant in the lobby so make sure you try it as it also filled with people."

"I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews, but I found this place to be a real gem. It's a bit far from the city center, but if you have a car, it's absolutely no problem. Parking is A$25 per night in the standard underground car park. You definitely need a car when visiting Western Australia. The hotel infrastructure is excellent; this setup would easily qualify as a five-star hotel back home. During the Southern Hemisphere summer, the indoor pool was closed, but the outdoor pool is accessible directly with your room key. You can ask the staff for directions. The beach is right downstairs, and you can spend a whole day there, just like the locals do. The ocean-view room was stunning; waking up to the sea view was amazing. The room was spacious and very clean upon check-in. However, the hotel is quite large, and the housekeeping on the second day was a bit slow; our room hadn't been cleaned by 4 PM when we returned, so we just grabbed fresh towels and skipped the cleaning. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. This area is a lively hub. Every summer, Western Australia hosts Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night markets, and Scarborough is where the Thursday night market takes place. The area around the hotel becomes incredibly vibrant, feeling like all of Perth has descended upon it. Downstairs, there are various restaurants, including a Thursday Special Steak deal, offering a 30% discount. A 300g steak for A$30-40 is an amazing and delightful deal. There's a Coles supermarket within a 5-minute walk, where everything is cheaper – anyone who's traveled to Australia will understand. Everything was so relaxing; I hope to come back soon."

"Although our stay was very good the level of cleanliness in the room when we arrived was lacking. Carpets in the lift, corridors and the room needed a good vacuum and the level of dusting has been neglected for some time. Steel doors in the lifts need some attention to look shiney and clean Location and value for money was very good. The food was very good standard, well priced and was delivered very quickly. Staff were excellent. Special shout out to Casper for arranging a birthday surprise for my wife. Nice touch. Thanks Overall a pleasant stay. Thank you."

"The location was superb close to amenities, walking distance to most destinations. Breakfast was good although it is the same daily. Hotel was clean though a liitle too old,Bed was comfortable. Had a great view. Most importantly the staff were amazing and very helpful. Thr price was affordable and fair."

"The hotel room is new and has a lot of space. Moreover, the hotel is located at the yacht dock, the scenery is very good, and many yachts can be seen. There are many restaurants downstairs and the food is very good. Worth staying for many nights"

A delicate fragrance filled the air, and the soundproofing was excellent. Opening the window offered views of either the street or a garden. "Lovely older hotel with character. Our room suited us nicely, great bar and seating area, inside and out. Breakfast was delicious. My husband uses a small mobility scoot and the hotel is very accessible. The parking situation worried me initially but turned out to be easy. Best of all is the location. The pool looked great too."
