"We stayed at this hotel for three days to see the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Cairo. The hotel is perfectly suited for these purposes. The hotel's location isn't a tourist area, but there's no crime in the neighborhood (ignoring the pushy touts for the bazaars). The streets are typically dusty, as is common in Eastern cities. The hotel is on the top floor of a residential building, which conveniently has a chain grocery store and a spice/oil shop. There's a beautiful view of the pyramids from the roof. We were given a parking spot for our car (75 pounds per night), although it was a parking spot only in the loosest sense. The furniture in the hotel is dated, but overall the rooms are decent for a night's sleep and breakfast. Breakfast included snacks, an omelet, and instant coffee. If you're a solo traveler and aren't expecting luxury for a modest price, this is a pretty good option for a 2-3 night stay to see the sights of Giza and Cairo before moving on."

Hotels in Old Cairo,Cairo
Perfectly located in the heart of Cairo, our hotel offers breathtaking views directly over the majestic Nile River. Just minutes away, guests can explore iconic cultural and historic landmarks such as The Egyptian Museum and the Cairo Opera House, both within two kilometers. Designed for both leisure and business travelers, we feature versatile event spaces and exceptional dining experiences — from our floating restaurant aboard the Marquise cruise boat to the city’s only revolving restaurant with panoramic skyline views. Please note, our property is an alcohol-free hotel, ensuring a family-friendly and serene atmosphere.

"This older Hilton hotel is, on the whole, pretty standard—nothing particularly amazing, but no major downsides either. The exterior looks a bit dated, but the interior is maintained quite cleanly and tidily. The room size is moderate, the bed is comfortable, and all the basic amenities are available, including air conditioning, hot water, and free Wi-Fi. The staff are polite, attentive, and quite proactive in their service. Breakfast is decent, with average taste and no standout features. The hotel's location is fairly convenient, with good transport links nearby, and you can walk to some restaurants and convenience stores. Overall, for a short business trip or a stopover, this hotel can meet basic needs, but it's not suitable for guests looking for a high-quality or unique experience. Its biggest advantages are the nice view, quiet atmosphere, and reasonable value for money, making it a good fit for travelers with modest accommodation requirements."

We arrived much earlier than our check-in time, but they were able to accommodate us without any extra charge. The staff in the lobby were all very friendly and helpful, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff available!"

"Facilities: Everything else is good, but the air conditioning blowing directly on my head is unacceptable. Cleanliness: Very good. Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Environment: The street and buildings are rather run-down. However, the location is decent; it's convenient for eating out and shopping. In short, this hotel has both prominent advantages and disadvantages, but its strength lies in its value for money."

"Everything was very good and pleasant, a nice deluxe suite, an excellent and varied breakfast, restaurants with good food, but the value for money was a little high. However, there was an unpleasant situation with the manager, whose apology came immediately from the employee and not from the manager himself. Fortunately, we had been to Egypt before and it didn't spoil our image of the kind people they are. The room was cleaned several times a day and they always made up the bed for us to lie down 💝"

"You can see the pyramids in bed, and it is especially beautiful when the sun rises in the morning. It is also close to major attractions. There are supermarkets and ATMs tens of meters downstairs. You can also cook, which meets my needs to eat vegetarian food. The hotel owner and staff are very real and sincere, and they are very kind. I was in trouble, and the boss immediately put down the work at hand to help deal with it. The ability to do things was very strong, which gave me a home away from home and a great experience. Thanks again to the boss and all the staff! I hate rewards and don't want to detract from their blessings, so I don't have the habit of tipping them. I don't have enough pounds. In fact, there is an ATM next to it, which is why I didn't pick it up. But when I took a taxi, I saw that the charge was so low and I couldn't help but compensate them. When I was waiting at the airport, I began to understand them. It turned out that their country relied on tipping to increase income, and the basic salary was very low. It was no wonder that so many traps and routines were bred. This cannot be blamed on them, it is the problem of the upper leadership of their national system. So, I hope everyone will give some tips whenever you like! The boss is also a tour guide, and there are also good affordable routes and itinerary. You can consult when you stay at the hotel. Egypt is a holy place full of charm (magic), we need to slow down layer by layer to peel it slowly to interpret it, locals are ”cheats”, bones or very kind. Rather than being liars, it may be more appropriate to say that this is their means of livelihood! You have enough wisdom to discern and disassemble, and you can be completely autonomous without any additional risks and losses! I am a woman traveling alone, and for me, it is very safe and very belonging because they are all friendly and welcoming. But, how you are, you will definitely get the effect of force and reaction force! I wish everyone a happy travel experience!"

"Hotel is new and looks great. It’s out of the way from downtown which makes it more peaceful. We stayed a few nights, breakfast and the pool amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. However a few things to point out that I was going to but needs to be said. No privacy as workers working most of day outside of room so the window and curtains had to be closed or creepy men looking at you. Door connected to another room and not good sound proofing or insulation, can here everything other people are doing. Bed sheets had some blue dye stains on them the first night which was unwelcoming. Lastly, we decided to check out one night before, going to pay for mini bar things. The menu is priced in local money and not in dollars and doesn’t have VAT included, also a mini bar service charge is charged for the house keeper to refill which is hilarious at best as you pay for the room. That should include her to top up the fridge just as she would top up towels. Water isn’t free only a big bottle and not the small bottles so be careful. They don’t explain that clearly. So, once I saw my bill I tried to talk with front of house about it. He treated me like and ***** and said I need to pay in USA dollar and I said then why have a menu in your local currency. He couldn’t give me a good answer and just said all hotels do it. Then he started to laugh and tell me this is little USA money and so on and laugh again. I ended up paying my bill just to get out of the hotel as his attitude was poor and almost sarcastic. I paid then he said I’m welcome back be he will give compensation. I said well you wouldn’t help me swap a day to later in the week to return as early check out before so am good. Overall, we left the hotel in a poor mood and not acceptable. I’ve worked and work for these hotels and that is just poor. That was the biggest let down unfortunately."

"my mistake for not reading more reviews before booking. like most reviewed, it's a dated hotel beside an abandoned mall. loud music everyday from morning till wee morning, not for sound sensitive sleeper. cleanliness is questionable, the 2 drinking cups were dirty - 1 with hair, 1 with very visible stain. the staffs were the only commendable ones, with expectable service and friendliness, nothing beyond."
