"The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Cairo train station, which was perfect for me as I arrived by train from Alexandria. Because of its convenient location, many Chinese guests stay here, and I even met some fellow Chinese travelers during breakfast, including a kind owner from Zhejiang! Lubna at the front desk has excellent English and was incredibly helpful! She provided a lot of assistance, printed documents for me for free, and offered travel guidance. The hotel has been recently renovated, is very clean, and tastefully decorated! The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate for just me. The room rate was very affordable, and breakfast was included! The elevator is a bit old and small, and it doesn't stop on the same floor as the room, so you have to walk half a flight of stairs after getting out. However, there's always someone to help you with your luggage if you offer a small tip."

"Good place, very central, the staff can handle communicating in English. Minor greevences: The hotel is on the fifth floor but there's a lift/elevator. The bed was quite a bit too soft but guess that's an individual thing... The wifi had a tendency to 'die' on you so that you had to disable and re-enable it again. I asked for some bottled water when I arrived and was handed two bottles of tapwater poored into reused bottles... All-in-all I would definately stay there again, I especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony attached to the room."

"Our stay was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel entrance exuded a luxurious feel, making an excellent first impression. We were relieved to find that the room matched the photos we saw on the booking site. The elevators were new and quiet, making it comfortable to move around the hotel. With robust security measures in place, we felt safe and secure day and night. The breakfast was fresh and varied every day, so we didn't get tired of it even during a multi-night stay. The hotel's location is ideal for both tourism and business, offering great convenience for getting around. The staff's service was attentive and kind, leaving us very satisfied. I can confidently recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Cairo."

"This is not my first time staying at a Brassbell hotel, and once again, it was an excellent experience. The studio apartment feels like a complete home – a truly wonderful option! The room is clean, pleasant, and literally has everything you could need: a large bed that provided a great night's sleep; clean, new bed linen and towels; slippers; a kettle; and a full set of dishes (not just mugs with saucers and spoons, but a complete collection – plates, forks, a set of knives, wine glasses, regular glasses, a frying pan, pots, and even a Cezve for coffee – amazing!). Additionally, there are separate packets of tea, coffee, and creamer; bottled water (only upon check-in, no refills); a hairdryer; an iron; a full-sized wardrobe; a small table and two armchairs; a TV; air conditioning; a sink for washing dishes with a filter tap; a stove for cooking; and a washing machine – I used it, and it works perfectly! There's even laundry detergent in a special packet and box. Before coming to Egypt, I stayed in a premium-level studio apartment in El Alamein, but even there, they didn't provide laundry detergent or a full set of dishes. This hotel, however, has it all. Thank you! Here's a tip: if you need to dry clothes, after washing them, hang them on hangers, then hang the hangers on the upper metal rail of the shower corner – voilà, everything dries perfectly :) Hot water with good pressure is consistently available. The shower includes shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The staff are friendly, and you can store your luggage after checking out. There are many cafes, restaurants, and shops near the hotel, and Tahrir Square and the old museum are within walking distance. There's nothing negative to mention, as this accommodation option is simply fantastic for Egypt! Especially for the price. Given the room's amenities, it feels like a 5-star hotel. Perhaps the only minor suggestion would be to add towel hooks. The staff are polite and pleasant; they helped me with calling a taxi (for some reason, taxis have trouble pulling up directly to the hotel entrance, so they need directions). Huge thanks for the magnificent living conditions! If I return to Cairo, I'll definitely stay here again. I wish the hotel prosperity, well-being, and decent, grateful guests!"

"Beautiful hotel, very clean, modern and stylish. Our room appears to be newly refurbished as well. The hotel is very safe, staff are very attentive. Except for one rude customer that I had an unfortunate pleasure of witnessing her very appalling childish behaviour toward staff during breakfast service. I feel so sorry for the staff who were treated by this person in such manner. They were nothing but respectful. They handled the incident very professionally and I was impressed. The hotel is also a walking distance to the Egyptian Museum, less than 300 meters walk. The lunch menu especially the lamb shank was an absolute delight according to my husband. The breakfast menu was grand and the best. Absolutely delicious spread. The pool area is very clean and the water is at its perfect temperature. We highly recommend the Steigenberger Hotel Chain. Top notch service."

"The moment I arrived, I was impressed by the magnificent and beautiful entrance. The hotel interior was clean and reassuring, and the staff were always smiling and helpful. The photos online were exactly like the actual room, which met my expectations. The elevators were new, and the wait times were short, making them comfortable to use. The hotel's overall security was excellent, allowing me to stay alone with peace of mind. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options daily, and I enjoyed both Egyptian and Western cuisine. "The room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent, within walking distance of the Egyptian Museum and a Chinese restaurant (Ma's Noodle Shop), making it very convenient. Breakfast was a set meal, and the taste was decent. Coffee was provided during check-in and breakfast time. The receptionist was very welcoming and a very chatty person. I stayed in a twin room; picture 2 shows the balcony view from the twin room, and pictures 3 & 4 show the balcony view from the king room."

"Hotel was good overall , considering its price and location. The entrance is actually at the back alley from the main street but it is not dangerous even for ladies. You will need to take the lift up to the 5 th floor reception where they will greet you. Breakfast was served at their ‘restaurant’ and cannot be taken away. They serve at 8am , which I think is a little late since many tours starts around that time too. Breakfast is hearty so we enjoyed it very much ! For the room, it is ok. The building is old so we can’t complain too much. Room is clean and big , so is the toilet. We were also told that we have to leave our keys at the reception when we head out for the day. Then when we come back we can collect the keys again at the reception. Not ideal since we planned to leave some cash and some valuables in the room. We had no problem with our items but you may consider this if you are concern about privacy of your property. Overall we had a good stay."

"Absolutely loved this hotel! We only booked it for an overnight stay before leaving, so I didn't have high expectations for the price. Turns out, it was my favorite hotel during our entire trip to Egypt, even more comfortable than the Sheraton we stayed at in Cairo and the Hilton in the Red Sea! The room had a small living area and a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils. For a Sichuanese person who'd been traveling around Egypt for over ten days and whose palate was totally bored, being able to watch Mango TV shows and cook a delicious hotpot in the room was simply perfect! The beds were clean and comfortable, and the service was even better! I wasn't expecting much service for this price point, but the staff member went up and down five or six times, helping us get bowls and plates, fixing the window lock, and adding an extra bed. Five stars, absolutely deserved!"
