"We booked a one-bedroom apartment with a balcony, and upon check-in, the girls at the reception desk offered us a two-bedroom apartment with a balcony for free, which was a very pleasant surprise. The receptionists are very friendly and willing to help with both excursions and small requests. The room had slippers and all the usual toiletries, which is quite rare to find in Egyptian hotels. The hotel is conveniently located, about a twenty-minute walk to Tahrir Square. Two blocks away, there's a pedestrian street with many convenient and inexpensive local cuisine cafes. I highly recommend trying real shawarma for 120 rubles. Also within walking distance is the old Egyptian Museum, and opposite it, there's a small shop with cheap souvenirs."

"We stayed at this hotel for three days to see the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Cairo. The hotel is perfectly suited for these purposes.
The hotel's location isn't a tourist area, but there's no crime in the neighborhood (ignoring the pushy touts for the bazaars). The streets are typically dusty, as is common in Eastern cities.
The hotel is on the top floor of a residential building, which conveniently has a chain grocery store and a spice/oil shop.
There's a beautiful view of the pyramids from the roof. We were given a parking spot for our car (75 pounds per night), although it was a parking spot only in the loosest sense.
The furniture in the hotel is dated, but overall the rooms are decent for a night's sleep and breakfast. Breakfast included snacks, an omelet, and instant coffee.
If you're a solo traveler and aren't expecting luxury for a modest price, this is a pretty good option for a 2-3 night stay to see the sights of Giza and Cairo before moving on."

"The room has an amazing view of the promenade and the site where the Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood. The room itself is a bit dated, but the view, the veranda, and the price more than make up for it."

"It is located on the 2nd floor of the building with the entrance from the main street to the alley, so you need to keep the signboard from overlooking it. It's old, but it has an elevator.
The room was clean, probably just after the renovation, there was an outlet at the bedside, there was no power outage, and hot water came out well. There is a refrigerator but no hair dryer.
It was breakfast, but I was grateful for the menu with solid content. The staff is also kind.
However, since it is an old building facing the main street and has no soundproofing, the 24-hour car horn is noisy anyway. Earplugs are essential. I think it's an inn that you should close your eyes."
