"This hotel is quite famous, with high ratings on Xiaohongshu and Trip.com. My stay was very satisfying. I arrived on an early flight and, just trying my luck, asked at the front desk if any rooms were available. To my surprise, they let me check into both rooms, and it was before 8 AM! I felt like I saved hundreds. Although the rooms are a bit old, they're well-maintained and very spacious. You can call to request more bottled water, and the breakfast is also good – but you need to go early for the best photo spots! I also requested the first shuttle to the Pyramids of Giza for the next morning at the concierge, which was super convenient. Highly recommended!"

"Fantastic location with beautiful Nile views — I could even see the Pyramids from my balcony. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and it was convenient to have an on-site ATM with no extra fees. However, the staffs at the main entrance came across as a bit pushy (not sure if it’s a cultural thing or just individual attitude). Check-in and check-out were also quite slow, with about a 10–15 minute wait both times. The biggest issue was the hair dryer: it was very old and visibly damaged, patched with white tape, and it actually gave me an electric shock as it cracked while I was using it. This really shouldn’t happen at a well-known hotel chain."

"The service was quite good. Lower floors near the road can be a bit noisy, but higher floors are fine. They upgraded our room type, and the room was large and clean, with quick service response. The hotel has many restaurants; the ramen and fried chicken at the Japanese restaurant were a lifesaver for my 'Chinese stomach' – I really couldn't eat any more 'Western food.' The view from the Nile corner is excellent; if you get up early, you can see a beautiful sunrise. It's a bit far from the airport but convenient for visiting the pyramids. My friend's room was even higher and offered a direct view of the pyramids; with a camera, you can get some amazing shots."

"How to say? This hotel is expensive, the lobby is nice, the rooms are big, but the quality is terrible. The room decoration is not good, it doesn't match the price, maybe there are not enough hotels in New Cairo"

"The hotel, while a bit old, is well-maintained with a stylish decor. Its location right on the Nile offers beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Avoid the coffee in the hotel lobby – it's almost 50 RMB a cup, ridiculously overpriced. You're better off crossing the street to Oliver for coffee instead.
Also, tipping doesn't seem to work well in Cairo. I slipped the front desk a tip and ended up with a room with a very mediocre view. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores near the hotel, and not many dining options either. You have to take a taxi everywhere, making it feel less convenient than staying on the opposite bank. The hotel is on a major road, and crossing it can be quite daunting.
On a positive note, the Byredo toiletries provided are excellent."

"I live in Cairo and stayed here because I wanted to play in the pool and take a break.
The building was very beautiful, as it was newly built. The lobby was stylish and it had the feel of a designer hotel.
However, it might be inconvenient to use as a base for sightseeing. You can see the pyramids, but they're not that close.
The pool was very large and beautiful, and there weren't many guests, so I enjoyed it very much.
Breakfast was okay for Egypt. The selection was limited, but the bread was delicious."

"We had an issue at the arrival, the room we have booked wasn’t available, for the first night we accepted an alternative solution, a room very noise and blind windows, the second day the attitude of the front desk operator was really bad, and only after escalated to the manager we solved the problem. The hotel is in nice location, but it’s a bit old, the breakfast buffet is very nice and various. The room are clean."

"Hotel is new and looks great. It’s out of the way from downtown which makes it more peaceful. We stayed a few nights, breakfast and the pool amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. However a few things to point out that I was going to but needs to be said. No privacy as workers working most of day outside of room so the window and curtains had to be closed or creepy men looking at you. Door connected to another room and not good sound proofing or insulation, can here everything other people are doing. Bed sheets had some blue dye stains on them the first night which was unwelcoming. Lastly, we decided to check out one night before, going to pay for mini bar things. The menu is priced in local money and not in dollars and doesn’t have VAT included, also a mini bar service charge is charged for the house keeper to refill which is hilarious at best as you pay for the room. That should include her to top up the fridge just as she would top up towels. Water isn’t free only a big bottle and not the small bottles so be careful. They don’t explain that clearly. So, once I saw my bill I tried to talk with front of house about it. He treated me like and ***** and said I need to pay in USA dollar and I said then why have a menu in your local currency. He couldn’t give me a good answer and just said all hotels do it. Then he started to laugh and tell me this is little USA money and so on and laugh again. I ended up paying my bill just to get out of the hotel as his attitude was poor and almost sarcastic. I paid then he said I’m welcome back be he will give compensation. I said well you wouldn’t help me swap a day to later in the week to return as early check out before so am good. Overall, we left the hotel in a poor mood and not acceptable. I’ve worked and work for these hotels and that is just poor. That was the biggest let down unfortunately."

"It would have been fine ten years ago, but now it looks a bit dated.
Overall, the facilities are decent, and the view from outside the hotel is quite nice.
It's not far from the airport, and you can book a free airport shuttle. It's also very quiet.
However, the service was truly terrible. They initially gave me the last room available, saying it was the last one, and even after I clearly stated I didn't want it, they changed it. Why did they say it was the last room in the first place? Why were they given priority for the last room when there were other rooms available? It wasted over half an hour of my time."

"Fabulous! After a busy few days staying elsewhere in Cairo it was wonderful to reach the sanctuary of the Ramses Hilton. We were upgraded to an Executive room and spent a great afternoon just admiring the view and the Nile from our high balcony, and relaxing by / swimming in the (almost-hot!) pool. The room had everything we could ask for and the bed was super comfortable. Service was impeccable, and our dinner and a few beers were good value. Highly recommended 👌"
