The catering recommended by the staff of the hotel is also commendable. The authentic Dongjiang fish and farm dishes are fresh and taste pure. In short, this is a journey of healing both physically and mentally. Going to the villa is worthy of the name and has a sense of ”homecoming”. Next time you come to Zixing, this is undoubtedly the best choice!"

"Breakfast is simple, with two types of buns, corn, sweet potatoes, milk, or coffee. Bananas, grapes, and cherry tomatoes are also delivered to your room and can be enjoyed on the small terrace while enjoying the view. It's super chilled! 1️⃣ Facilities: 10 minutes' drive from the Bailang Scenic Area and 100 meters from the nearest farm where we had dinner. Private parking is available, and the B&B entrance is right there. 2️⃣ Stay Experience: You'll have your own butler, who will call you the morning of your arrival date to ask what time you'll arrive. They'll also add you on WeChat in advance to send you maps, directions, and travel guides. If it's cold, they'll prepare a charcoal fire in the living room for warmth, thoughtfully turn on the air conditioning in advance, and even help with luggage! The service was excellent! 3️⃣ Food: Very close to the Bailang service point, where there are plenty of options. 4️⃣ Attractions: Located within the Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area, you can drive or rent an electric scooter to explore the entire Bailang area. You'll see red metasequoia trees, yellow cosmos flowers, and the vast, picturesque lake, making it a perfect weekend getaway. The high-speed rail station is a 1.5-hour drive, Gaoyiling Scenic Area is a 1-hour drive, and Xiaodongjiang is a 0.5-hour drive. 5️⃣ Pros: The window view is unbeatable! You can enjoy the beauty of Dongjiang Lake without even leaving the house! And the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!"

"This hotel wasn't very crowded, and I'm so grateful to the owner for the free upgrade – it really enhanced our experience! The room was clean, the toiletries were high-quality, and there was a large screen TV. The butler service was very thoughtful, definitely a bonus! They even helped with our luggage! The common area on the first basement level was warmly decorated, and the back door on that level opens right onto the riverside, making for a great environment. If I ever go to Chenzhou or Zixing again, I'll definitely choose Zide!"

I set off early in the morning to see the foggy Xiaodongjiang, and came back to take a nap. The boss super shared Dongjiang Lake honey oranges! Super recommended! Come back next time! "The hotel is in a great location, within the Bailang Town scenic area. The lake is right outside the door, and the design is Instagram-esque and very stylish. They also offer welcome snacks. The hostess was also very kind. She saw us karaoke outside in the evening and treated us to a barbecue. The hotel also has a KTV from 8:30 to 10:00 PM, with excellent sound equipment. It's also very convenient to ride a donkey around the lake from the hotel. The scenery along the way is beautiful and enjoyable! The only downside was that the inn had stored an electric scooter belonging to a restaurant called ”Lakeside Fisherman.” These little, yellow scooters—remember, the yellow Hello Kitty one?—were too rickety to ride up a hill by ourselves; we had to push them up on the slopes. We finally got to the restaurant entrance and asked for a replacement. The owner had a whole bunch of new, large scooters parked outside, renting them the same at the B&B or the restaurant for 60 yuan a day. The owner immediately said he couldn't replace them. We asked why they had one parked outside, and he asked if we were eating at his restaurant. We said no, and he immediately said he couldn't. So, this was also a bundled purchase. If we didn't eat at his restaurant, we'd have to blame ourselves for this awful scooter. There were plenty of new, large scooters parked outside, so why didn't they replace it? It was their own fault. It was so poorly performing. While we were pushing it, our child fell on a hill, injuring his arms and legs. We showed him the problem, but the owner didn't think it was a problem and even asked if we wanted to eat. B&Bs should be mindful of the integrity of their partners. Everything else was excellent!"

"This time I came to Dongjiang Lake and chose this homestay in the scenic area. The room was great. It was comfortable to sleep at night. Standing on the balcony, you can see the beautiful scenery. You don’t have to queue at the entrance of the scenic spot to take the bus. It’s very pleasant. The boss is also very good to help me plan the itinerary and help me book tickets. It’s more convenient than the official. Yi and the fish made by the boss is also super delicious. I am very satisfied with the experience. I will definitely choose this next time."

"This guesthouse is really nice. I love the decor; it's beautifully arranged. The room is spacious and clean, and there's even a small courtyard. The weather right now is perfect for sitting in the courtyard, enjoying the breeze and sipping tea—it's incredibly comfortable. The location is fantastic, right at the entrance to the Dongjiang Lake scenic area, just a short walk away. It's super convenient, and there are many restaurants nearby. Stepping out of the courtyard, you're right by the river. Taking a stroll along the river in the evening and enjoying the night view is incredibly relaxing. The service here is excellent. The owner is a handsome guy who's very patient in answering any questions about sightseeing, and he doesn't just push his own recommendations; he'll suggest other suitable options too. He's a really great person. Standard check-out is at 12 PM, but when we returned from our trip to Xiao Dongjiang, our child had fallen asleep, and he kindly extended our check-out until around 2 PM. There were tangerines and bananas available; I wasn't sure if they were complimentary, but the owner offered some to our child, who said they were very sweet and delicious. All in all, I'm very satisfied and grateful. It was a very pleasant stay!"
