"This is an amazing, historic, world famous hotel. It combines luxury with outstanding service. The location is in the heart of the historic area. Just a minute walk to Parliament and the iconic buildings. It’s situated on the river if you want to ice skate I. The winter. It’s a must stay for the travel who wants a quality experience and great location"
"Room is spacious and clean! Very convenient location with parliament hill, byward market and a lot of dining spots nearby. Kitchen is fully equipped and well maintained. We will definitely come back in our next visit."
"Comfortable and walking distances to By Ward and historical sites around the Parliament and Rideu Locks. Stayed 3 days and 2 nights. Secured parking available at 18 CAD per day which still cheaper if use public pay parking"
"The bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was great. The room was fairly quiet. The shower controls were modern. The only thing was no trash bags in the trash bins inside the room, and no bottled water included (had to bring my own). The garbage bags they provided after requesting them were too big lol. The cost was fairly expensive for just one night though manageable if splitting the cost with another guest."
"Had a great stay at the Ottawa Marriott Hotel. The location is perfect—close to Parliament Hill and downtown attractions. My room was clean, modern, and had a lovely city view. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Ottawa!"
"Located at a very good location. Walking distance to Byward Market, Parliament Hill, Rideau Shopping Centre, Notre Dam Cathedral Basilica. Do note that kettle and bedroom slippers are on a request basis. Chinese restaurant-Peking Duck, has nice food and is popular with locals. Sammi & Soupe is popular for xiao long baos and fried dumplings. Keg Steakhouse serves good steak with a nice ambience. Overall, it's a positive experience."

Great
GGuest UserWonderful stay. Staff were kind and helpful. Room smelled fresh. Location was perfect. Lots of food options.
GGuest UserSpacious room with fridge and microwave inside room, with ice machine for quick chill on soft drinks. Facilities are new and in great condition. Good location is another great point for easy access to outlet mall in 15 minutes on road, and just 30 minutes on driving for Ottawa.
GGuest UserThe staff at the Westin were all incredibly accommodating..Especially Carla at the front desk. Guest services ensured we got the view I wanted, and an early check-in.They welcomed our German Shepherd Dog openly which was so important to us...They immediately brought us a second comfortable chair upon request, and dog bowls. One of the staff helped us get an elevator when everyone was cutting in front of us...I guess due to our dog...that never barked like the little yappee dogs he chose to ignore. They sent birthday pastries beautifully presented. Everytime we went in and out of the hotel we were acknowledged and smiled at. Sitting in the beautiful fire lit lobby with our dog was so fun..The pool was a perfect temperature and the sauna too. We ended up having car trouble and they were extremely gracious and understanding as we had to wait 2 hours for CAA, even investigating to find the cheapest rate in the event we would need to stay another night. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was spotless with no harsh chemical odour. They are currently renovating, admittedly the room was a little outdated, with some chipped wood here and there...but I imagine that is a dog-specific-room...and that does not over-shadow the experience, or the view..We will return in the spring for another night of just hanging out!!! INCREDIBLE FRIENDLY STAFF!!!
YyatsenenokWe stayed at the hotel for 6 nights, they had issues checking us in as the booking was made through trip.com which went through Expedia. Somehow they figured it out later. The room was spacious, clean. They provided room services every day except for one day when they were understaffed. Shower has only half door so be ready for some splashes. I recommend bringing your own body wash (they provide soap which is hard to wash off) and shampoo. People who can't sleep with noise in the room, should consider their options. Air conditioning is super loud (like factory machine) , it constantly woke us up at night, there is no option to open a window instead. Breakfasts are always the same, not a single thing changes: fried/boiled eggs, sausages, pork?cutlets, pancakes, apples, oatmeal, bread. The dining room was always overcrowded, the space should be at least twice as big. Sometimes we came and there was no food, so we had to wait for someone to come and bring food (they don't have a person there on a regular basis). I can't say our experience was bad, but it was not great either.
AAlicia York-BirdI've stayed at this hotel several times now; I enjoy how clean, quiet, and nicely decorated the suites and the hotel itself are! The bathrooms are beautiful, very clean, and well-appointed, as are the rooms themselves. Very pleased and will stay here again when my travels take me through this area once more.
GGuest UserGreat place to stay nice & clean not far from downtown . Private parking and room for 3 people was big with a big kitchen. I definitely recommend . Price is also affordable.
