I stayed here for one night before the Expo. The price was reasonable, and it's just two stops before Yumeshima Station, so even though I left at 6:30, I was able to arrive at Yumeshima by 7am, which was very convenient.
As other reviewers have mentioned, I remember that the stairs up to the hotel entrance were quite steep and I was a little out of breath.

I accidentally booked 2 adults but forgot to add my boy 13yrs, but they can’t change anything, just push the responsibility to the agent. I have to booked additional hotel room for my son!
I booked 1 month early and paid a big dollar for it, but they reduced further 20% few days later without notifying me or my agent. When i found out, they said sorry but nothing they can do. The will simply punish if you booked early. It’s not encouraging, not impressed at all.
I specifically told them to give me a higher level when i came on the day earlier than I check out, they said yes, and just ignored.
Worst 5 star hotel I ever experienced in Japan.

There were very few people, maybe because they didn’t know that you can take the ferry to Universal Studios for free. Due to the low passenger flow, the quality of the breakfast was average. We were the only ones having breakfast at that time, which felt a bit strange.

The location of the hotel is very close to the train station (Osakako station) , just a few minutes' walk and you can also walk to Kaiyukan (The Aquarium), Tempozan marketplace. This hotel is a small, nice and clean hotel. Breakfast is good but quite the same every day. All the staff are polite and helpful. If you don't need anything luxury, but just want to sleep and relax after your long day in a safe place. I think this hotel is one of a good choice.

We used this hotel to go to Universal Studios Japan as a gift for our child's graduation.
Access from the nearest station wasn't very good, so it was a bit of a hassle to get around when we were tired, but there was a large public bath so we were able to relieve our fatigue, which was great.
The room was clean and there was a convenience store nearby, so it was convenient.
The front desk staff were kind and the service was very good.
We will use this hotel again.
Thank you for giving us fond memories!

It wasn't exactly close to the station, but it was convenient and there were restaurants nearby, so I had no problems at all.
The amenities in the guest room were new and I was able to use it comfortably.

Overall, the facilities were decent. Watching movies costs 1000 yen. There are 51 floors in total, and the restaurant is on the 51st floor! We stayed on the 45th floor, and the view, as you can see in pictures 2 and 3, was great.
**Facilities:** As long as there's a bathtub, I'm happy. 🤭
**Cleanliness:** At least the room I stayed in was quite good. 👏
**Location:** It's quite close to the city center, right next to an elevated highway, but the soundproofing is incredibly good; I couldn't hear any traffic noise. 👍👍👍 Across the street, there's a FamilyMart, and both JR and subway stations are nearby, which is very convenient. 🙃🙃🙃
**Service:** If you need anything, you can just call the front desk by dialing 88. 😘😘😘
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Thanks, ART Hotel.

When traveling with children, choosing the right accommodation is crucial! I usually choose a hotel that's close to the action, reasonably priced, and comfortable. If you're visiting Expo, HOTEL SAILS is highly recommended!
It's located right by Exit 3 of Osaka Port Station. The rooms are modern and spacious, with Japanese-style bathrooms with separate wet and dry areas. Coffee Luff also offers complimentary drinks, including a variety of alcoholic beverages for just 500 yen each!
The mattresses are Simmons and incredibly comfortable! Behind the hotel is the Osaka Port Shopping Center, home to Legoland, Kaiyukan, the Ferris wheel, and a variety of restaurants. It's a great place to take the kids for a walk. If you're not planning to visit Expo, consider making time for a visit here to create some memorable memories! Although this hotel is conveniently located at the station entrance and only 2 stops away from Mengzhou during the Expo, the price is quite high, but to avoid the fatigue of traveling, you can spend more time visiting the venue. In addition, it takes a lot of time to enter and exit the Expo. If you can return to the hotel early to rest, and breakfast is provided, then the higher price during this peak tourist season is definitely worth it!
If you stay at Liber Hotel Osaka, you'll be a 13-minute walk from Theme Park and a 15-minute drive from Kaiyukan Kaiyukan. Liber Hotel Osaka is 4.7 mi (7.4 km) from Kyocera Dome Osaka and 6.6 mi (9.7 km) from Dotonbori.

The hotel is super close to Laotong's World, just a 10-minute walk away. A taxi would only be about 1300 yen. The best part is that it's literally just across the road from the subway exit, maybe a hundred meters. We had two large and two small suitcases, and getting from the station across the street to the hotel was incredibly smooth.
The hotel's hot spring is excellent, definitely on par with Chinese hot springs that charge 400-500 RMB per person. The main thing is that after a tiring day at the amusement park, feeling completely exhausted, a good soak in the bath was just heavenly!
Recognized for its sustainable initiatives, the hotel has been awarded the “4 Gyoiko Sakura” rating under the international certification “Sakura Quality – An ESG Practice.”

This hotel is the closest to Universal Studios, just a few minutes' walk to the ticket gates, and offers full views of Universal Studios from the rooms. It's incredibly convenient to get to: you can take the subway from the airport, transfer once, and the hotel is just tens of meters from the exit. For Japan, the rooms are quite spacious, and the bathroom is sparkling clean with a separate wet and dry area. The lobby is luxuriously decorated with some futuristic, high-tech elements. Right outside the hotel is the Universal Citywalk, packed with eateries and Universal-themed shops. The food on Citywalk is all pretty good; the Gekko-ryu takoyaki is better than the other place, and the fried wagyu was also delicious. The subway from the airport gets you right to the hotel's doorstep with just one transfer, making transportation extremely convenient.

Amazing
GGuest UserI booked this hotel quite last minute before my trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how great it was. After reading some reviews, I opted for a twin room for more space, and even though it's near a main road, it was very quiet at night. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping came daily. The hotel offers a variety of self-service toiletries you can pick up, and a special touch I appreciated was the complimentary overnight face masks. Downstairs, there's a large AEON food supermarket, and the Shiyobashi Subway Station Exit 2 is just a short walk away. Getting to Shinsaibashi only takes a few minutes. It's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere – truly a hotel that has it all!
JJudith AldIt’s a perfect option if your traveling solo, its accessible for the location and the installation and service is good. You need to be aware that you need to be quite in the bedroom area, every bed don’t have big walls to mute the silence, gladly I didn’t have any noisy neighbors on the women dorm so I slept well during my three nights there . Theres a common area for woman and other for everyone . The showers and toilets are shared but in good condition, they give you towels and sleep wear , the location is also good, near to Donbori and to the subway.
TTravel BananaMy family and I have stayed in the hotel for two days for visiting Universal Studio Japan. The location is excellent! It's located right next to JR station. Onsen is on the top of the hotel. Lovely new hotel, I will definitely stay next time.
Hhuam****I initially booked for three days, and was so pleased with the hotel that I extended my stay for another seven. We ended up staying a total of seven days here. Besides the excellent location and convenient transportation, the room size was decent and didn't feel cramped. Plus, in addition to a shower, there was also a bathtub.
DDingmaomisThe room design was modern and minimalist, making excellent use of the space, and it was spotless. My only minor complaint was that the air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, which unfortunately led to a restless first night. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor lounge on the ground floor. The Western-style set breakfast was also quite delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel.
XXLbaoWe stayed at Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi for two nights during the Osaka portion of our trip coming from Tokyo. This was my fourth time in Japan and my first traveling with my toddler, so efficiency and convenience mattered more than ever with his ADHD.
This is very much a business-style hotel, and it delivers well in that category. Guests receive a complimentary two-hour voucher to a WeWork-style coworking space located upstairs near reception, which includes internet access and unlimited drinks and snacks. For business travelers, that’s a strong value add. I would come here again by myself.
While the staff were not fully fluent in English, they used an advanced real-time translation system displayed on a screen at the front desk. Pretty cool. It translated conversations instantly, which was impressive and made communication smooth. The staff were friendly and professional. The interaction felt slightly less personal due to the language barrier, but that’s understandable. The complimentary coffee helped bridge that gap. 24 hrs staff as well.
One standout feature was their handling of our luggage forwarding from Yamato Transport. The hotel received our forwarded suitcases and held them before check-in, then delivered everything directly to our room. This was extremely helpful because we arrived from via Shinkansen, continued on to Kyoto and Nara to visit the deer and temples, and only returned to the hotel later that evening. Not having to carry luggage through multiple cities made a huge difference. Those elevators are tight!
During this Osaka leg, we visited Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple, enjoyed observatory views at Abeno Harukas 300 and the Umeda Sky Building, and took a day trip to Kyoto to see the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Fushimi Inari Shrine. The hotel is about a 5–7 minute walk from three subway lines and is well positioned for accessing major attractions across the city. If you want to be more central try Namban or Umeda.
With days averaging 12,000 to 15,000 steps, we often grabbed food nearby or I ordered through Uber Eats, which is surprisingly affordable compared to U.S. pricing. Options within walking distance included Matsuya, Yoshinoya, Saizeriya, and even high-end omakase sushi spots.
The in-room washer/dryer was another major convenience since we packed light and relied on doing laundry mid-trip. Really wished there was a kitchen area though with dishware and utensils.
Overall, Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi is a practical, well-located choice for travelers who prioritize efficiency, transit access, and in-room laundry. It served as a solid home base for an active Osaka itinerary. I would come here again.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient! It's right next to the subway station, and just a few minutes' walk to popular shopping and dining areas like Kuromon Market, Shinsaibashi, and Dotonbori – you'll find everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment. Plus, the hotel offers complimentary bread and drinks for breakfast. Overall, it's great value for money! 👍
FFanxiaotutuThis is our second stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk from the subway station, right behind the Shinsaibashi Ferris Wheel, so it's super easy to find. We were two adults and one child, and booked a triple room. The room was genuinely tiny, so small it was hard to even open our luggage, but it had everything we needed. They provide three bottles of water daily, and there's a free ice machine available. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was very Japanese; it wasn't really to our taste, but it was enough to tide us over.
MM49235****The hotel shares facilities with Spa World. When I visited, it was decorated for Christmas. The room itself was decent, but they don't provide slippers, which was a bit inconvenient. For dining, you can eat at the large cafeteria on the third floor of Spa World or at one of their other restaurants. There's a good variety of choices, and the prices are reasonable.
YYuuJinnThis hotel is near to the tengachaya station, where you need to walk 5 minutes to reach. I personally think that it was convenient and being able to stay in a quiet neighbourhood. The only complaint I have, was that there was no receptionists at the front desk. This hotel promotes a self-check-in hotel but I felt a little bit inconvenient that I had to message through line to contact the person in charge.
