The Art Hotel Niigata Station's location is very ideal. It has a sheltered link way to the Train Station. There are also many shops around the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and big. Definitely worth revisiting.

What a hidden gem! The service is impeccable! We stayed in the special room, it was huge and so comfortable, with our own private tub as well. The dinner was presented beautifully and tasted great! The ryokan has managed to provide excellent service while maintaining privacy as well. They provide a shuttle (please call the hotel directly in advance) to and fro from the Iwamuro train station. Overall, it was a very memorable onsen trip for us!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The amenities were excellent (it has a manga library!), and the location of the hotel is the cherry on top of the cake.

The best hotel with good price i have experience in Japan. I come empty handed. But the hotel provides everything. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast is delicious Definitely will come back with my famoly.

My wife and I have had a 3-night stay at this Comfort Inn Niigata Chuo Inter Hotel Room #518 from 16 to 19 October 2025. The Hotel is located in the outskirt of the Niigata City Centre and just a 5-km drive walk away. The 5-storey hotel has modest reception on the First Floor, and the hotel staff are polite and helpful, and they are able to communicate in simple English. It also provides free parking for hotel guests at a first-come-first serve basis. So we are grateful and thankful that we had enjoy free parking for 3 days! It also provides free coffee and tea via machines 24 hours daily. As the Hotel is located quite away from the city centre of this small city, so there is no shopping centre nearby except a quite sizeable well stocked Challenger Supermarket that is 350 metres away, and it carries a big varieties of fresh sushi and sashimi for takeaway in good portions and attractive prices, and it tastes as fresh and as good as any restaurant! The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the small bathroom - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower! At SGD S$81 per night without breakfast, we find it value for money and we will choose to stay here if we travel to Niigata again.

Just next to Aeon, Isetan and bus terminal!!. However 8minutes walk from nearest train station. Staffs could not really understand English. Breakfast is good and comfortable, more to Japanese style breakfast.

A cosy stay in the heart of Niigata, enjoyed the comfortable bed and relaxing bathtub. Breakfast buffet featured a good spread of local typical foods.
