"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers looking to explore Yokohama or needing easy access to Tokyo. Being right next to Tsurumi Station makes it incredibly easy to get around without relying too much on taxis or long walks. The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though not overly spacious, it made efficient use of space, ensuring a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of both Japanese and Western options, which was a great way to start the day. If I had to find any fault, it would be that the hotel is located in a quieter part of Yokohama, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, for me, it added to the charm and made for a peaceful retreat after busy days of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. It offers excellent value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the Yokohama area."

"The room was more than enough for my needs. The hotel is near the train station which was very convenient. Breakfast wasn't that much but it was good. The staff were responsive. It was a great stay overall. I was able to rest after days of traveling."

"First time in Japan, so I chose this hotel based on location and price, with my desire for higher floor rooms for a view. I stayed near Shinagawa station, and also in Osaka, all with the same budget per night. This hotel was the best of the 3, very nice facilities and amenities (7/11 in the lobby!!), with a spacious room. I'd probably pass on the buffet breakfast next time, but that's just me, there was a wide selection for everyone. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in that area."

"I was very surprised by the hotel: everything seemed to be fine, a fairly large room, the floor was spotless, the bathroom was nice, everything seemed to be there, towels were changed and the cleaning was done every day. A balcony in the room. Yes, it is obvious that it has not been renovated for a long time and the equipment is old. However, you can feel the absence of the owner. There are some things that are simply killing: a dirty ventilation grill with a huge layer of dust, a chandelier and lamps in centuries-old dust, yellowed and stained signs. If you remove these little things, and it is not difficult, the hotel could pass for 3 *, and if you make an effort, then 4 * and 5 *. The location is gorgeous, the breakfasts, although not very varied, but the food is good, fresh. I got the impression that this hotel does not have an owner or he does not care how much money the hotel brings in. Very strange. The audibility behind the wall, as next to and the sound from the railway somehow did not bother me very much."
