Even the hotel was well maintained and everything was quite new, the location is a bit far away (you can rent bikes on the hotel, for a very reasonable price) Since it was tet festival in Vietnam, the breakfast was limited, the woman didn’t speak English, but she was very nice!

Great hotel, friendly staff. I love the gym, plenty of space and a separate room for yoga, stretching. Infinity pool is very welcoming. Beds are comfortable, we had some good shut eye. The view of port and the city  from the room was really nice. The only drawback was the automatic bidet seat control board not being cleaned properly. I will still come back the next time I’m in town.

The service at Hotel Nikko Haiphong is very good, the room is very clean, and the service staff are very friendly.

The staff at the hotel were exceptional; they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They helped arrange transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba and even organized a fantastic day trip to Ha Long Bay for me. Breakfast at the hotel was enjoyable with a variety of options available, including made-to-order eggs that were delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and homely, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend View Point Anh Quan Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Cat Ba!

The rooms are bright, thoughtfully laid out, and impeccably clean; little details—good water pressure, comfortably firm mattresses, and reliable Wi-Fi—made it effortless to settle in after a day out. Service is where the hotel truly shines. Staff were warm without being overbearing, quick with local tips, and genuinely proactive—everything from a smooth check-in to helping with rides and recommendations felt easy and human. Public spaces are tidy and modern, and the overall vibe is understated—more “well-curated haven” than flashy boutique, which I loved. Value for money is excellent; you get the kind of comfort and consistency that usually costs more. If you’re visiting Hai Phong for work or a quick city break before heading to the islands, this is a place that makes travel feel simple—in the best possible way. I’d gladly stay here again.

Most positive point is very useful location! This hotel is closely from bus line, and easy to go to drink to somewhere! So cost and performance is very great! And following picture's bar was very good. I recommend this place to go to drink somewhere.
