"It’s a destination resort you should really plan for it however from the moment you have met the driver from Setsu at the Kutchan station and everything is beyond your expectations and impeccable service. Love the private Onsen experience yet the public Onsen is also not so busy at this time.  However I will definitely go visit and stay again during the winter time.  Two three four or more thumbs up 👍"

"I recently stayed at a hotel that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. The location was incredibly convenient, situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The facilities were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable and pleasant stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the breakfast. It was plentiful, with a wide variety of high-quality options to choose from each morning. I also thoroughly enjoyed the on-site hot springs. They were relaxing and provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Additionally, my room offered a stunning view, which added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel provides an excellent base with great amenities. I would definitely stay here again in the future."

Embrace solitude when hiking on a mountain trek, golfing, or discover the healing powers of Japan’s hot springs at this alpine retreat dedicated to nature in all its forms. The 50 rooms and suites at our Niseko ski-in / ski-out resort in Hokkaido, Japan, offer breathtaking views of nature, including Mount Yotei or Niseko Annupuri, inviting the beauty of nature to flourish within.

"Niseko in summer has its own distinct advantages. It's less crowded, the air is fresh and cool, and hotel rates are significantly lower. The hotel's decor is tasteful and understated, reminiscent of a city Ritz-Carlton. With fewer rooms, the service is remarkably attentive. Breakfast is a hybrid of a set menu and a small buffet spread, which was quite satisfying. We found the dinner restaurant to have a somewhat limited kitchen and offer average value for money, so we chose to dine out for our evening meals. The location is wonderfully quiet. While we had a private car, even without one, the Hilton is just across the ski slope, so transport isn't an issue. A short walk of a few minutes takes you to a ski commercial area, where a few restaurants remain open even in summer. I imagine it's quite expensive in winter, but I do wonder if Niseko's skiing truly surpasses Hemu's? A major perk, of course, is that the hotel essentially has its own dedicated ski lift, offering absolute ski-in/ski-out convenience. It's significantly smaller, quieter, and much less crowded than the Park Hyatt. However, I highly recommend taking the gondola up there at night and then walking down to experience the beautifully designed light exhibition – it's truly stunning."

"The suite comes fully equipped with Miele kitchenware, allowing you to cook your own meals. It's the largest and best-serviced hotel I've ever stayed at in Japan; you definitely get what you pay for. Next time I'm skiing in Hirafu, I'll only stay at Sansui. The Shin Sushi downstairs (a 3-star restaurant) is also definitely worth trying. For getting around, they know exactly where to get to JR stations and nearby attractions; no matter how late it is, the staff will be there on time in an Alphard to pick you up."

"I love this place so much. The scenery is so beautiful that I don't want to leave. Hahaha. The room is very, very big. It's not easy to stay here. There are big floor-to-ceiling windows and snow outside. There are hot springs, washing machines and floor heating in the house. The configuration is quite complete. We ordered a dinner package and we chose Western style. The dishes were exquisite and the portions were quite large. I especially want to thank the driver who came to Hirafu to pick us up because we made a mistake and asked him to drive to Hilton. The driver who took us to the JR point in Kujian also helped to carry the suitcases. He was very considerate. The service staff here are very enthusiastic ❤️"

"The hotel is porfessional and all staff are friendly, greeting each time they see you - it does make a difference to the feel of the hotel to have friendly staff. I didnt understand the set-up at first, but now that Ive seen it I can help clarify - there are several hotels in the area that share a central location called Niseko Village and Pure activities - Hilton and another hotel open up directly onto these two areas within a 2 min walk. The Pure activities include the adventurous outdoor fun like the tree walk. There is also a shuttle bus that runs several times a day to some key locations and is great if you dont have a car. I also just want to thank Trip.com for helping me. I initially booked a different hotel but it did not go well and Trip.com reperesentatives (Lexi) really helped me and put me at ease when I was starting to worry that I wouldnt have a place to spend the night for our family."

"The Windsor Hotel at Toya may boast its status as a premier 5-star luxury destination and its historic role as host of the 2008 G8 Hokkaido Toyako Summit, but our recent stay fell far short of expectations. Despite the grandeur of the location and its breathtaking views, the service quality was surprisingly poor for a hotel of this caliber. English communication was inconsistent and below the standard expected at an international luxury property. Housekeeping was careless—leaving a used cleaning towel on the bed after daily room service, which is simply unacceptable. When I drove to the main entrance to pick up my family, I was abruptly asked to leave immediately, even though only a few cars were present. This lack of hospitality was jarring. Additionally, being charged for extra bottled water—something even 3-star hotels offer complimentary—felt petty and out of touch with luxury norms. The most troubling experience came during checkout. Two of our international credit cards failed to process, and although we successfully paid with a third, the staff’s attitude was unprofessional. We were met with a sour expression and the word “FINALLY” once the transaction went through—an unacceptable remark that left a lasting negative impression. While the hotel’s setting is undeniably beautiful, the overall service and treatment we received did not reflect the standards of a true 5-star experience. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve both staff training and guest relations."

"The facilities were excellent, and the hotel service was superb, although it's customary in Niseko to take payment upfront and not refund. I needed to cancel one night's reservation due to work. Ctrip's attempts to resolve the issue were unsuccessful, so I gave up. Upon check-in, the hotel told me that although a refund wasn't possible, I could exchange the last night for 30,000 yen in credit at the hotel. Better than a direct loss, I decided to use it. I ate at a Michelin-starred restaurant, which was fantastic. The hotel manager even gave me a bottle of Yoichi red wine."

"This is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included. It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel. The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options. There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise. Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us. We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better. Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese. The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel. The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves. Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway. The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run."
