Mountain view Hotels in Jiujiang

I was very satisfied with my stay at Lotus Terrace Garden Resort! The hotel has a great location, with a quiet surrounding environment, and I could see beautiful scenery right from my window. The bed was comfortable, and all the facilities were easy to use. Both the front desk and service staff were patient in answering questions and responded promptly to any requests. The breakfast also tasted good. Overall, it offers great value for money, and is suitable whether you're traveling with family or just looking to relax. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Lushan!

This was a bit further from 牯岭街 but no regrets staying here! It’s quieter and also quite near to the shuttle bus station (something 旧址station)! My boyfriend fell sick in the trip, and the receptionist was so kind to help us find the nearest hospital / help us collect our food / gave us thermometer etc They were really sweet and gave us some souvenirs too, and upgraded our room. The room was very clean, but be sure to close the windows properly as we had two beetle looking flies that flew in (but it’s a mountain area so I’m sure all hotels will have the same problem if you don’t close it!!) The receptionist also shared lots of tips with us, like which are the fun spots etc, and she patiently explained to us how it works. Food in the hotel was really great and surprisingly affordable. We had the stir fried pork and I really liked it. Overall a good experience. And the bath tub was to die for

A five-star rating is definitely deserved. The price increase during the May Day holiday was expected and reasonable. The breakfast, for a hotel in a scenic area, was quite generous; even those used to resort hotels will find enough to eat here. After all, I've looked around, and there aren't many places on the mountain that offer a better breakfast. There are a couple of things I hope can be improved: firstly, the family rooms should come with three sets of toiletries, not just two, requiring guests to ask for the third; secondly, some early-rising guests were excessively noisy in the hallway, even blowing whistles. I think the hotel didn't do enough to remind them about noise levels. I know the mountain area is humid, so carpeting isn't very practical, and poor soundproofing in the corridors seems to be a common issue for all hotels here. But at least a 'quiet please' sign could be helpful, couldn't it? The service attitude was generally excellent, with one exception: an older lady in the lobby who never smiled, whether answering questions or showing the way. Most of these issues are minor or due to objective limitations, and even if I stayed at another hotel on Mount Lu, it would be hard to find one that does much better. Hence, the five-star rating is well-earned. I'm too lazy to review both rooms separately, so I'm just copy-pasting this for the second one.

This hotel is on the uphill, inside the Lushan attraction. If you come to Lushan/Jiujiang by train, you need to go to their Sightseeing bus centre, and take their sightseeing bus to go up to another bus centre, and just give a call to the hotel, they would pick you up by a comfortable car. We had an unpleasant encounter with the didi driver driving us to the uphill, the driver was rude, even said to me “I got no time, just buy the ticket faster” (you need to purchase a ticket for the didi car and for yourself to drive up, an hour drive btw). So glad that the hotel staffs were all so nice and understanding. They welcomed us warmly, even listened to me complaining about the driver’s behaviour and rude remarks. They presented us with a welcoming fruit platter too! The hotel is clean, and very bear to Ruqin Lake. For my room, we got to wear 2 sets of hanfu for free (just put a deposit first, they’ll return the depo after you return the clothes). The staffs helped us bring our luggages into the room, even offered extra towel and room slippers since we came in 3. You got to experience brewing chinese tea by yourself too, since they prepared chinese tea leaves and chinese tea pot set in the room. Since we arrived there around 3, and had to take shower and clean up first, so we would only be able to start exploring Lushan at 4. The hotel staffs at the reception were so kind to prepare us with a map and gave us recommendations on places we can go, in the best order, since they know we would be walking until late at night. The picture of the lake is Ruqin Lake, it’s just in front of the hotel. As for the next morning, we had to wake up early to get a morning train from jiujiang to jingdezhen, so I asked for the receptionist’s help to make a wake-up call, in which they actually called our room at 4am! Thank you so much. Overall, the stay here was amazing! We will find for JI Hotel the next time we travel to China.

The views from the room were absolutely stunning—you can enjoy beautiful mountain scenery right from your window, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. However, the location is a bit far from 牯岭正街, where most restaurants and tour bus stations are. It takes about a 15–20 minute walk, which can feel quite tiring after a full day of climbing and exploring in Lushan. There is a shortcut—about an 8-minute uphill walk to the cableway station where you can catch the tour bus to 牯岭正街—but the last bus is at 6:40pm. If you stay out later, you’ll need to walk back (which can be quite a workout 😂). The hotel provides a washing machine and dryer, but there’s only one of each, so you may need to wait during busy periods. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for scenic views and a peaceful stay. However, it may not be the most convenient option if you’re traveling with elderly family members. One big plus is the free pick-up and drop-off service from the cableway, which is very helpful.

The hotel offers a complimentary pickup service from the Lushan mountain bus station and the mountain cable car entrance. I was really touched that they came to pick me up even though I was the only guest. After I got off the cable car, I called them, and they arrived in just a few minutes, like my own private car, haha. Once we arrived, the staff carried my luggage all the way to the hotel. After I checked in, they even brought it to my room – so thoughtful! The front desk also helped me plan my itinerary and told me about the sightseeing bus schedule. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the main street, with beautiful views. The dehumidifier worked wonders! My clothes dried completely overnight after I washed them. The only minor downside is the lack of large bath towels (I heard this is common in Jiangxi). They provide thin, disposable towels, which aren't quite enough if you have long hair...

There are more mosquitoes in summer, but the store also prepares mosquito killer lamps and so on. The hardware facilities should be considered very good in this environment. It is very suitable as a foothold at the bottom of the mountain. There is still quite a distance from the entrance of Lushan Mountain to the entrance of the cableway up the mountain. This B&B is the closest. It was already ten o'clock in the evening when we arrived at Lushan. Although we could drive up the mountain, we thought it was too dangerous, so we temporarily decided to stay here for one night and go up the mountain the next morning. It was wise. The store also sent a car to pick us up. It is very close to the entrance to the ropeway and takes ten minutes to walk, but there is a ladder that is quite dangerous. Elderly people should be cautious and be careful with large luggage. Free simple breakfast provided. There is an additional charge for exceeding two bottles of water per room.

We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient. We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️

This hotel offers excellent value for money, with superb shuttle service – instant response and pick-up! The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive. The washing machine is brand new and very convenient; it's practically empty at lunchtime, and even early in the evening, there's no competition. The room's air conditioning is powerful, the shower water is perfectly hot, and the smart toilet is comfortable, complete with a toilet seat cover and disposable towels! It's about a 6-minute walk to the main street for food. A special recommendation: for breakfast, don't go to the small restaurants nearby; head to the entrance of the Guling Farmers Market, opposite the KFC, down the steps – where locals buy their groceries. There are two places with particularly delicious and affordable soup dumplings, catering to locals! In the evening, I recommend walking towards the main street; the night view from Beilu Villa and Lushan Lian Cinema is stunning – a must-see!

The room is big, the bed is big, the yard is big, there is breakfast, the service is super invincible, I bring a three-way dog, one person can not go to Sandiquan, the proprietress helped bring the dog, rounded my dream of Lushan, really good, if not on the road, I want to live for a few days, I am surprised by the pets, I hope that there are more such good proprietress hotels along the way, which is great, beyond my imagination
