GGuest UserAs a four star hotel, I am disappointed that the room was not really clean, and there was a strange smell, and there was no toothpaste! Staff were nice and the location is in the centre. I enjoyed the sauna, the gym is not big. Restaurant's price is reasonable, the breakfast could be better.

JJeff & LynLovely overnight stay. Hotel was really busy with a large party but the staff looked after us really well. Not a reflection on the hotel but they booked a taxi to pick us up and the taxi firm were totally useless. Having waited twenty minutes past the scheduled time, we called an Uber which was there in five minutes. Overall, this is a great hotel which we have stayed at previously and will do so again.

BBumblebee06Hyatt Rengency Hotel Birmingham is a very nice and cozy hotel with great facilities. It offers halal food, and prayer mats are available upon request, which I really appreciated. The leisure facilities are lovely, with a heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and spa. However, my stay was let down by the fact that the room did not have a smart TV as mentioned on the website, which caused a lot of wasted time considering that I planned to stay in most of the times. The hotel eventually upgraded us (to a similar room just a few floors higher) after several contact made to reception and a long wait, but I’m grateful to Kenza for her assistance. On checkout, Nandini was very kind and offered support for my next visit as a gesture for the inconvenience. There's also an issue with parking, which operates on a first come first serve basis. So if you park your car on day 1 and say you're staying for 3 days, you have to pay for the parking for 3 days ahead which is £27 for 24hr. During these days if you happen to take your car out and come back with no free parking space, you lose your money. Your slot is not reserved. It would be better if they charge us for parking when we are leaving the car park rather than making us pay in advance. Overall, a comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, but clearer information on room facilities would have made the stay much smoother. I would have come better prepared.

NNaiyoudangaojiabingjilingI was genuinely surprised by how convenient the hotel's location was. It's just 20-30 meters from the train station, making it incredibly easy to reach. We could walk to every attraction, completely eliminating the need for public transportation. Chinatown being right next door was fantastic, offering endless dining options to suit all our family's tastes. The hotel itself was very quiet and comfortable, and it felt incredibly secure. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay!

GGuest UserThis hotal was lovely we had to do a late check in after 9 clock as we got hear late but the staff service was fantastic very helpful and very polite would definitely stay hear again breakfast was a buffet breakfast help your self the only thing they didt have was fried eggs but they had scrambled egg thy had tea coffee hot chocolate machine and also help your self to apple juice orange juice lots of staff around clear area were people had been ready for other people to sit as have breakfast area was nice clear room was clear and tidy nice shower and toilet room beds comfortable had a family room with a double bed and a sofa bed .

MMingweinideyichangyuThe hotel's location isn't great. You have to go through a park, and it's quite out of the way, so it's best to take an Uber. However, the environment is decent, and it's a chain hotel, so it's pretty well-managed. The bed is quite comfortable, and the cleanliness is good. The overall space is a bit small. Luggage storage is very insecure; it's just a pile in a storage room with no labels and no one watching over it. The air conditioning in the room blows directly onto your head, which is a bit uncomfortable, and there's no outlet next to the bed for charging. Overall, besides being clean and tidy, everything else is just so-so. I booked it to save some money, but now I think I should have just booked a place near New Street Station. Birmingham, though, is a nice city. It's not too expensive, and there are plenty of places to explore.

SSfrixelReally unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously. Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it. Very very very unsatisfied.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located nearby the new street station which is excellent. But the rooms is small and old, the bed sheets look grey (tho clean). The mattress is also old. It is okay to stay just 1 night (if you don’t have other choice and budget) but not more than that.

QqdcottonThis place can accommodate four people traveling together. It's in a very safe location next to Birmingham City University, and there are two supermarkets downstairs with normal prices. You can take different routes from either side of the hotel to the city center every day. It's very quiet, you can only hear the seagulls. There's also a great Indian restaurant in the area opposite. It's very close to the hotel, you can reach the Canal House (canal-side area) within 2 minutes, and just a short walk from there is old Birmingham.
