Hotels with Parking in Southampton

Friendly service by everyone we met. Ladies on reception took special care of my 2 year old when we entered and gave her an Easter colouring activity whilst we checked in. Rooms are basic but ok. Bed is huge and very comfy. Air con doesn't circulate very well at all, under it, freezing, in the bed I'm boiling. Also what's the deal with no fridge in the room? Restaurant is ok, bit over priced for what it is really and it was a sunny day and so, so so hot.its only April and I was sweating! Could do with some air con or circulating air in there. Nice location though, if your a cricket fan you'll love it and opposite a golf course so nice view that side too. Have stayed before and will again

Location is fine, but it needs clear directions. The service is good. The front desk is helpful. It worth to try again in next time.

The room was unexpectedly clean and perfect, the bedding was clean, the location was excellent, very close to the train station to London, and the bus was very close to Winchester.

If you want to get up early, you have to sleep above the kitchen. Hotel decor dated. Parking excellent, sometimes overloaded by long parking. Dinner is excellent. Breakfast good, service could be better. Hotel very noisy.

Honestly, I have been to many hotels around Birmingham and London, and I also work at multiple hotels as security. I have seen how they are from inside and outside, but trust me, this five-star hotel truly won my heart. The moment I entered, it gave me an old-fashioned feeling. The furniture was amazing, and the view was breathtaking. The ability to play YouTube and watch movies added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient. Opposite the hotel, there are many food shops, and we went around 7:30 PM for food, which I thoroughly enjoyed. McDonald’s is just two minutes away, and a beautiful beach side is within a five-minute reach. The combination of luxurious accommodation and strategic location makes this hotel an absolute gem. Overall, my experience was extraordinary. The five-star hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I’m definitely booking this hotel again in the future. Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds. Feels like you're well outside Southampton but are only 15 mins away. (Daughter in Uni there) Room was nice, we had exec but this isn't worth it to me. It only gives you a better coffee machine and we weren't in the room enough to use it. Save the £20. No lifts so cases up to the third floor was a bit of a pain. If you're waiting for a ferry and have lots of cases then this could be an issue. We saw a few people struggle with this. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly. We didn't eat there in the evening, burgers and chips sort of menu but the nearby pub, Chilworth Arms was really good. The pool is great, small (16m) but very nice with jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Towels provided. Staff very friendly. Pool surrounding has quite slippery tiles though. Leisure facility is a bit away from the hotel, only 300 hundred meters from the hotel front but enough to need an umbrella if raining. All in all, a good value pleasant hotel. Much cheaper than Leonardo's in Soton and still close to Uni etc.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station and about 10 minutes from the city center. It's affordable, though the rooms aren't very spacious. There's a McDonald's about 200 meters away, which is convenient for breakfast.

Family hotel, the room is small but well equipped and very clean. There is no elevator, and it is not convenient to go up and down the stairs with heavy luggage. I wanted to check in at 3 pm but no one served. I can go out and check in at 6 pm, and finally someone is there. I wanted to take a bath at night but found that there was no water, because no one served ~ I could bear not to take a bath. I got up the next morning and asked other guests to know that there was a red button outside the bathroom, and there would be bath water when I pressed it.

The hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine.

Everything was great accept. I had paid for the room in advance. When the clerk asked for my card I thought he was checking my card matched the card on record. He proceed to chard me for the room again £78. Said there was outstanding balance. After taking the money I said excuse it had been paid. He then said s sorry I’ll issue a refund. But this has caused me issue I was only in Southampton 1 day and I only had 90£ to spend after he done this I only had 10 £ left he then tried to take more money for the second room. I had to borrow money and now I have e to wait 5-7 days to get the refund. The next day. My flight was delayed. And although taking my money. He the same many wouldn’t let me have a late check out end. Though there we rooms
