A quality business-class hotel located in Tokushima near the Bizen Ropeway and the Bizan Tenjinsha Shinto Shrine, just a short ten minute walk from JR Tokushima Station. During my stay, I enjoyed a lovely view of Mount Bizen and a few blocks of Tokushima, close in to shopping and restaurant districts. The room was quiet and comfortable and as always offered the same alpha-One commitment to quality I have come to expect from stays at other locations. Recommended.

Very central location near the train station, still quiet. Very friendly, competent staff, rooms large ! , very clean. A small, fine hotel. Breakfast - excellent, large selection, western as Japanese, stylish atmosphere - is not offered directly in the hotel Agnes but in the nearby, about 100 m, ”Motherhouse”. Also the Onsen is not directly in Agnes but in the also Related hotel directly from Agnes, about 15 m from the street, railway station, shops, bus station in about 250 m distance. For me in terms of price / performance an optimal hotel. I felt very well there and would stay there anytime again.

The staff only speaks basic English, so you should prepare a measure to communicate in Japanese. Early check-in and spacious rooms and bathrooms are hard to find in Japan. The water pressure in the bathroom is strong and the hot water comes out well. It's equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. But the mattress on the bed was dead with all the cushions. If you go to Tokushima, I'll find this place again.

Location is very close to JR station, and many nice restaurants are nearby. Free coffee is served which tastes good.

Most of the tourists stayed there because the accommodations are near Tokushima Station. This place is just in the middle of the neighborhood, so it's hard to come to it at first, but it's okay if you go back and forth a few times. But I went to breakfast condition.
