After the tour in the evening, I returned to the hotel and chatted with the proprietress and tourists from all over the country in the lobby about their experiences and experiences. It was very interesting. The boss seemed to have a leg injury. It was mainly the proprietress who was receiving the guests. She was very kind. She took the initiative to help me find a bowl for the microwave to heat the rice for dinner. After I finished eating, she took the initiative to wash it. It was very heartwarming! The room was very clean and the facilities were sufficient. It was not good if the mirror table in the bathroom was a little wider. It was a bit crowded to put down my toiletries bag 😁, but it did not affect the experience. I almost forgot my mobile phone in the room when I left. I ran back and the proprietress took the initiative to find it with me. When I left, I sent it all the way to the intersection. I also gave her a big hug to express my gratitude. I don’t pay much attention to how high the standard and luxury are for tourist accommodation. I like an easy-going, interactive and friendly experience, which may be related to each person’s personality. In short, it is a very satisfactory accommodation. ✨ I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! The location is absolutely fantastic, super convenient for exploring and dining. The front desk staff were so kind and gentle, and check-in was incredibly fast. 🥰 The room was spotless, with no water stains or strange smells in the bathroom, and the bedding was super soft and comfortable! There was plenty of hot water, and the soundproofing was excellent. The complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of options. If you don't have plans in the afternoon, you can enjoy afternoon tea in the lobby – the durian mille-feuille cake 🍰 was packed with durian flavor, and the coffee ☕ was rich and aromatic. The room facilities were comprehensive, making it great value for money. The self-service laundry room was very convenient, and the hotel even provided a free car wash voucher. I stayed at the Capital Holiday Hotel during my two-day trip to Zhangye. The hotel was clean, well-equipped, and had excellent service. The staff at the hotel delivered the takeaway food I ordered to my room door, and parking was also convenient.

This was my first stay at the Holiday Inn Express Zhangye. Usually, when I'm in Zhangye for business, I just pick any hotel, but this time I chose it because a friend told me how beautiful Ganzhou Fucheng is and that there are lots of great food options to explore. So, I picked the Holiday Inn Express that's really close to Ganzhou Fucheng. As soon as I walked into the lobby, the staff greeted me warmly and quickly helped me check in, even upgrading me to a room with a view of Ganzhou Fucheng. The room was incredibly spacious and quiet. From my room, I could see the entire Zhangye Wetland Park and the Ganzhou Fucheng night market. After work, I went to the Ganzhou Fucheng night market, browsed around, and even had some delicious Fried Bola. The hotel room was clean and tidy, the staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. They even offered me a complimentary late check-out. This stay was absolutely perfect, and I'll definitely come back if I have the chance!

We are an Italian family and we stayed at this hotel for around 10 days while we were fixing our motorhome in Zhangye. This hotel has the perfect position for us, near the beautiful and calm lake and with the city centre reachable with a short taxi drive. Our room at the ground floor had a private garden from which we enjoyed the sunshine every day, and my child was given a very cute camping tent that she loved to play with. One of the buildings in the hotel is a very nice restaurant that we enjoyed twice. Last but not least, the staff was so kind to us every day and extremely helpful with lot of things like ordering delivery food or receiving packages - as we don’t speak any Chinese at all, this was a blessing for us.

Highly recommend this hidden gem hotel! The location is superb, with convenient transportation and close to shopping areas and attractions. The hotel's decor is upscale and elegant, full of artistic flair; every corner is photogenic. The rooms are spotless, the bathrooms have separate shower and toilet areas, and the toiletries are all from well-known brands, exuding quality. The service is impeccable; everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeeping and security personnel is exceptionally friendly, responsive, and quick to help. They even provided a complimentary dessert in the evening—a truly thoughtful touch. The value for money is outstanding; whether for business or leisure travel, this is an excellent choice. Five stars wouldn't be enough!
