Dujiangyan Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"We loved our overnight stay at Hegu Harmony Valley Retreat. The eco retreat was a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of Chengdu. The resort offers meditation and script writing classes. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Would loved to have stayed longer. The location is a little out of the way, ehich we loved, and didi is very convenient everywhere in China. Qingcheng Mountain is well worth a visit. Be aware that there is a 'front' and a 'back' mountain, located approximately 10km apart. The front mountain is more well-known, mainly for its Taoist temples and cultural aspects. The back mountain has better natural scenery."

"I visited on June 30th, and the weather was great. Being on a mountain, it's normal for it to be sunny one moment and cloudy the next. I'd recommend checking the weather forecast before heading out, though it might not always be accurate. This place is excellent in all aspects. They have a pool and hot springs, and both the breakfast and their own dinner were delicious. The plums were also very tasty. Now, for a few areas that could be improved. Since I stayed in a ground-floor room, it was quite damp. The dehumidifier in the room was too loud. For mosquitoes, I definitely recommend bringing mosquito repellent. The air conditioning vent was also quite noisy. I suggest adding a full-length mirror to the rooms. The wall and ground lights in the courtyard should be turned on after dark, otherwise, it's easy to bump into things. Aside from that, the cleanliness and service were excellent. Parking is very convenient, and there are even charging stations available. The pool water was a bit cool but very refreshing. There are quite a few winding mountain roads, so I'd advise new drivers not to drive themselves. It's very pet-friendly, both the staff and the other guests were welcoming to pets."

"The environment is very peaceful, and the greenery in the courtyard is well-maintained, making it very pleasant to sit and enjoy tea there. The hosts even offered a DIY sachet making activity, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. They also gave us a small gift when we left. The guest rooms were spotless, the bedding was soft, and the breakfast ingredients were fresh with a light flavor. It's not far from the scenic area, making it convenient to get around, yet it's not in the bustling downtown, so it's quiet. It's perfect for a relaxing, slow-paced vacation, and the value for money is also great. I'd be happy to stay here again for a short trip."

"We stayed for two days with our kids. At first, I thought it was a bit far, but then I realized it's only a ten-minute drive from Dujiangyan High-Speed Railway Station and quite close to Panda Valley and Mount Qingcheng. The hotel is very clean and quiet, perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The room itself was spotless. We booked a hot spring private bath room, and the owner thoughtfully added a sofa bed for us. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the restaurant was clean and tidy. The owner was also very hands-on, managing everything with great care. I really miss the peaceful sound of rain on the banana leaves. We'll definitely go back."

"We booked a family suite, and the room was spacious and clean, exceeding our expectations. The kids especially loved it. In the evening, we went to the hot springs. The hot springs were outdoors, very close to the hotel, and the water temperature was perfect. Although it was winter and the outside temperature was low, we didn't feel cold walking back after our soak. Overall, this hotel was fantastic, five stars!"

"A must stay if you are in the area. Incredibly peaceful scenery with every modern amenity. It is possible, simultaneously, to feel completely secluded in nature, and in bliss at a five star resort. All of the staff were absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly. The room was spotless, beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The private hot spring bath and pool with the view are priceless. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat from the business of most cities."

"Stayed for two nights. The hotel's location is not far from the front mountain of Mount Qingcheng, and about a 20-minute drive from the Qingcheng Mountain Golf Course, making it quite convenient. This area is essentially a small town with many guesthouses, but this hotel feels like the best one around. Plus, the rooms even have private hot springs! After hiking all day, coming back for a soak in the evening is so relaxing 😪. There's a night market street right in front of the hotel, perfect for an evening stroll and buying some fruit. Also, the hotel's food is so much better than the restaurants outside. On our first day, we went to a seemingly popular restaurant outside and the food was awful. For the rest of our meals, we ate at the hotel. It was clean, hygienic, and most importantly, the taste was fantastic. The chef clearly puts a lot of effort into the cooking, highly recommend! 👍"

From the breakfast area, you could see the forest outside, allowing you to enjoy your meal while breathing in the fresh air. The owner and staff were very warm and helpful, always ready to answer questions and even recommending lesser-known hiking trails nearby. The cleanliness was impeccable, with spotless bedding and good quality bath products. Most importantly, the owner and service were genuinely sincere and attentive. It's the perfect escape for anyone looking to get away from the city and completely unwind."
