"Accompanied my good friend to Mount Everest for another visit, and we still chose to stay at this Vienna International Hotel chain. The experience was great! My friend really loved the overall decor and layout, which felt modern and youthful. We slept very comfortably at night; the central humidifier kept the humidity just right. What truly deserves a shout-out is the oxygen supply: 4 outlets with pure, ample oxygen. We didn't experience any altitude sickness at all, feeling almost as if we were in Nyingchi. The bedding was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Upon check-out, they even thoughtfully gave us two bottles of grape juice, which was a lovely touch!"

"A family hotel run by ******* compatriots. Located in the center of Basong Village. We called to confirm at 10:30 pm and placed an order. We arrived at 1:30 am. We knocked on the door and the proprietress was still waiting for us. There were no slippers or towels in the room and no room card was required. It was a two-story ******* house in the shape of a Chinese character U. On the left side of the door was the restaurant. It was a typical ******* style. They also provided porridge and pickled mustard in the morning. At the foot of Mount Everest, except for the high-end B&Bs starting at 500 yuan, the express accommodation conditions were average, but much better than the bunk beds at the base camp…"

"Staying at the newly opened Zhizhi Hotel at the foot of Everest Town was an absolutely perfect experience. First off, it's rare to find a hotel here with its own underground parking garage, and the height limit was very generous, which was great for self-drivers. There are two elevators in the garage that go directly to the lobby and rooms. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and even upgraded our room. The room itself had a Nordic-style, low-saturation decor, which I really loved, and the layout was very practical. We also received welcome fruit, and the staff even brought us two yogurts, haha. The oxygen supply in the room was excellent and pure. The breakfast restaurant had a wonderful ambiance, with clean floors that weren't sticky at all, and the tables were well-wiped. Just the cleanliness alone is a rare find in a hotel in the ******* region! Plus, the hotel is only a 40-minute drive from the Everest observation deck, so it's very convenient for serious photographers to capture photos of the 'golden mountain' at sunrise. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area. Keep up the good work!"

"Amenities: The room was fully equipped, and you could tell a lot of thought went into every detail. Cleanliness: Extremely clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. Environment: Great location, with plenty of dining options nearby and convenient transportation. Service: Absolutely five-star, even though it's a small town, the service was exceptional. The hotel called in the morning to confirm our itinerary, added us on WeChat to answer questions, helped us arrange transportation to the scenic area upon check-in, and we found fruit in our room with the floor heating already on and oxygen turned on. When they learned we'd be heading to Gawula Pass for sunrise and would miss breakfast, they proactively refunded the breakfast fee and even prepared two packed meals for us. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. I highly recommend experiencing it for yourselves!"

"Going to Guandi Temple and Zhuo Aoyou Peak are very close. Each room is named after the snow-capped mountains, which is very characteristic. The 315 Everest that day was very pleasantly surprised. Everest can be seen outside the window, the room is very large. There were not many guests in the off-season. There was no breakfast. The boss asked the kitchen to make breakfast for us. 10 yuan per person, very reasonable price, porridge steamed buns and potato shreds. It was very satisfying to have a hot breakfast in such a place. Thank you boss"

"I had to change my plans last minute and booked this hotel. I usually don't leave reviews, but I have to give this place a thumbs up! The facilities and decor are similar to a hotel like Atour, very clean. The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. She took us to our room, turned on the oxygen supply, booked the eco-friendly shuttle for us, and even walked us to it. You can also borrow windproof jackets for Mount Everest here, and she gave us excellent recommendations for local food. When we got back from Everest in the evening, she even came to our room to make sure the oxygen was working properly – definitely a big thumbs up! The breakfast was simple, just buns, steamed bread, and congee, which is actually perfect for those experiencing altitude sickness."

"It was fantastic! The location is quite far inside the scenic area. The hotel helps arrange the shuttle bus, and you can board directly at the entrance. The receptionist, Xiao Ciren, was very helpful; he helped me with my things, waited with me for the bus, and even reminded me to bring my border pass, otherwise I almost forgot it. Overall, a great experience!"

"Love the overall vibe of this place (I upgraded my room to Mountain View later on and it’s so good). There is also some sound-proof mechanism in the room and I was able to sleep so well ! (much better than when I was in Lhasa despite the increase in altitude). I was able to have great sleep and naps that prepped me very well for the day’s exploration and hiking. 非常喜欢民宿和房间的整体氛围（后来我升级到了山景房，太棒了）。房墙里还有一些隔音装置，加上这边都是山包围着的；很感谢能让我在海拔高的地方睡得这么好（比两天前在拉萨时好多了）。睡得好，自然进入很好的状态，上山徒步起来很舒服。 Now I know when I visit here again, there is a very comfortable place to stay (am planning to invite friends from Singapore over next year ::) Huge kudos to Mr Doje for bringing this place into existence in the Himalayas and organizing stargazing event every night. "The room itself was alright. However, the main reason I booked it was to lie in bed and watch the *****. Since I didn't get a room with a view, it kind of defeated the purpose of staying there. Maybe they should differentiate the prices between sections A and B. That said, the owner is really nice, and their buffet is also quite good. For 88 per person, I think it's a great deal! You absolutely have to sit in the very corner, eat hotpot, and gaze at Mount Everest – it's truly beautiful."
