"This hotel is a true gem and definitely worth saving! High quality and an unbeatable price! The room was spotless, immaculately clean with a fresh, sunny feel in every corner. The cleanliness was exceptional, with no strange odors at all. The space was also generous, allowing me to feel completely relaxed the moment I stepped in. The hotel's location is super convenient, easy to find right by the road. The front desk staff handled my check-in professionally, quickly, and courteously. My stay was absolutely fantastic. The view from the window was also stunning, and I appreciated being able to store my luggage after check-out. Parking was also convenient, making for a pleasant experience all day long. I've saved this one and highly recommend it; I'll definitely be back!"

"The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The service was excellent; they even called ahead to confirm our check-in time and needs for the next day. The location is superb, right by the lake with direct views of the Sun and Moon Pagodas. It's also very convenient for getting to the pedestrian street. Since my friend had a child with her, the hotel arranged a car to take us to the high-speed rail station and even gave us a souvenir, which was a very thoughtful touch. If I get the chance to visit Guilin again, I will definitely choose to stay here."

YYouxiandeyunThe hotel's location right by the Li River is quite peaceful, which I prefer over the noisy West Street area since I'm a light sleeper. I really appreciate that the front desk upgraded my room type. It's not far from West Street pedestrian street either, offering a quiet escape while still being convenient, almost like being on a backstreet in the countryside. The hotel also has its own restaurant where I ate both my meals; the food was delicious and good value for money, plus guests get a 10% discount. After dinner, a stroll along the river is lovely and relaxing, with locals also out for walks. You can get some great photos of the river and mountain views from the hotel's rooftop. They also offer self-service laundry and drying, which is super handy given how rainy and humid the weather can be here. All the staff, including housekeeping and restaurant servers, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

It's right on the main street, so you'll want to keep the door closed at night to block out the noise. The in-room facilities are quite new, and the toiletries provided are decent. However, some of the common areas, like the 'Yangshuo Eye' attraction, the swimming pool, and the kids' play area, are a bit dated and could use some renovation and cleaning. The staff were all very friendly, always greeting me and wishing me goodnight. The complimentary nightly dessert was a lovely and delicious touch, showing they genuinely care about their guests. They offer electric scooter rentals, but I'd suggest they tweak their wording a bit. When I rented one, the staff member said, 'This can only go 30km, it's 30 yuan, and you have to ride it back.' While their attitude was perfectly fine and not accusatory, a slightly softer approach would make guests feel even more comfortable.

One of the highlights was the coffee shop conveniently located right downstairs—ideal for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. But what truly made the stay special was the owner. She speaks fluent English, so communication was smooth and easy. As someone who doesn’t plan much in advance, I found her local guidance absolutely invaluable. She mapped out routes and recommended hidden gems that made my trip unforgettable. She’s also a talented painter! The beautiful cards you’ll spot at the reception desk or in the bathroom are her own hand-drawn creations—such a lovely personal touch that adds character to the place. If you’re a cat enthusiast, prepare to be delighted—they have a whole feline family that adds a warm, homey vibe to the property. 🐱 A minor note: the room’s proximity to the main road means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings or early mornings. Personally, it didn’t bother me much—after a full day riding the scooter I rented from them for just 30 RMB, I slept like a baby. Also worth mentioning: this is the perfect spot for travelers who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife. It’s close enough to the action for convenience, but far enough to enjoy restful evenings. My good reviews are always written willingly, hahaha~ Alright, now that you've read my first sentence, you can check out my objective review. This trip was just my husband and I, no kids, but I'm really looking forward to bringing our son next time~ The hotel is incredibly kid-friendly~ They have a starry sky pool, a kids' play area, and the restaurant food is very clean. Right outside is the Shui'erdi Pier, which is where the bamboo raft drift for the Yulong River's essence section departs. The hotel's hardware, software, decor, and cleanliness are all five-star, absolutely nothing to complain about. The service attitude is incredibly good, truly up to five-star hotel standards, I'm not kidding, especially since I've stayed at Lux and can compare~ The rooftop cafe is perfect for photos~ The afternoon tea 🫖 is nice! Every time we returned to the hotel, the front desk would warmly greet us, asking if we were tired or where we'd been. The front desk小姐姐 (young lady) even gave me mosquito repellent spray, a small bag, and a souvenir, I was so touched. We slept wonderfully at night, the hotel's soundproofing is excellent. Compared to the Muyu we stayed at the day before, across from the Romance Park, for a similar price, Mengyuan is heavenly, and Muyu is on the ground. Muyu's 1000+ yuan room only offered a view of a massive construction site, which was truly speechless. The hotel can help book tickets, and they're much cheaper. The hotel also offers electric scooter rentals 🛵 which is very convenient~ It's lovely to ride to West Street or Kang Kang Tangshui Shop for some dessert in the evening. Yangshuo's beautiful scenery was made even more special by the hotel. A perfect trip heals all stress and anxiety~ Thank you, Mengyuan, for giving my husband and me a perfect romantic getaway. We will definitely bring our child next time~ I'll recommend it to all my friends. ♥️ If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast; it could be slightly better.

I did a lot of research for this Yangshuo trip and finally chose Xishi Manor (Yulong River Ten-Mile Gallery Branch). Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. 📍 Location is truly unbeatable. The hotel is about 150 meters east of Jima Pier. It's a three to five-minute walk to the pier, so you can sleep in and then head straight down to catch a bamboo raft on the Yulong River (the best section from Jima to Comprehensive Pier). You can rent a scooter right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute ride to the Ten-Mile Gallery and West Street. Guilin Romance Park is also very close. It offers flexible travel without being noisy. 🏡 Karst peaks right outside your window. I booked a mountain-view terrace king room. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the distant mountains, clouds, and rice paddies perfectly. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the mist slowly clear while still in bed was an indescribable feeling. The room is newly renovated in a French minimalist style, featuring smart voice control for the entire room, a smart toilet, a heated towel rack, and a super-large projector. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly – the kind of comfort where you just fall asleep after a day of exploring. 💦 1000㎡ Infinity Pool + 3000㎡ Large Lawn = Never wanting to leave. The pool faces the green mountains directly, and the water quality is excellent. The light is softest around 3-4 PM, making any pose look like a high-end French holiday photo. The large lawn is wonderfully soft. In the evening, sitting there and waiting for an 'orange sea' sunset 🌅, as the sunset glow enveloped the lawn, pool, and distant mountains in warm light – at that moment, I thought, ”This is how you should chill in Yangshuo.” 👩💼 Service and extra experiences add a lot of value. • Free ethnic-style travel photography upon check-in (3 retouched photos). The photographer will take you to various spots by the pool, on the lawn, and in the courtyard, with a high success rate for great shots. • Free afternoon tea daily at 3:00 PM, featuring handmade persimmon cakes with osmanthus tea. Sitting in the courtyard with the breeze is so therapeutic. • Breakfast from 8-10 AM, with freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles and both Chinese and Western options. • There's a children's play area downstairs, which is very convenient for families with kids. • Free parking with charging stations, and pet-friendly ♡ Small tip: During peak season, it's advisable to confirm the check-in cleaning progress with the butler in advance. The pool can get a bit crowded in the afternoon; if you want to take photos with reflections, go between 9-10 AM in the morning. Overall, Xishi Manor is not one of those 'looks good in photos but mediocre to stay in' influencer hotels. It's a resort hotel where the views, amenities, and service are all top-notch. If you want to slow down and not rush through attractions during your visit to Yangshuo – this is definitely the place for you. I'll be back next time! 🍊

Rroundy00The environment at The Sugar House is absolutely stunning, no doubt about it. The hotel activities are also excellent; I tried both the complimentary morning yoga and Tai Chi classes every day, and the instructors were fantastic. The included travel photography session was also great, with a very natural style. I also have to praise the hotel restaurants – both the food and the ambiance are superb. Whether it was Chinese cuisine, Western dishes, or casual meals, everything was well-prepared. We also tried the hotel's paid activity, the Via Ferrata, which was a lot of fun! My only minor complaint is that it was too short and didn't last long enough. The only real downside was actually the room. Given that it's nearly 10 years old, it felt a bit dated, and the decor style was a bit outmoded. BUT! Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely choose this hotel again!!

GGuest UserThe front desk lady was incredibly, incredibly, incredibly wonderful! My friends and I were traveling together and I accidentally booked a single king room, but there were three of us. The lady helped us sort it out and found us a twin room. She was simply amazing, definitely five-star support 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Facilities: The hotel facilities are very comprehensive. The room had complimentary bottled water and hand soap, which was a thoughtful touch. Since there were three of us, as soon as we checked into the room, the housekeeper brought an extra set of toiletries and disposable slippers. Additionally, the hotel has a laundry room on the seventh floor, which is a blessing for those who don't want to handwash clothes after a day of sightseeing! ^0^ Environment: I have to say, the hotel's 8th-floor observation deck and 2nd-floor swimming pool are absolutely perfect for photos, haha (I won't upload my beautiful pictures here though). In short, next time I come to Yangshuo, Arandor will still be my top choice! I hope that lovely lady is still working there when I return ε٩(๑＞ ₃ ＜)۶з
