"The hotel is located within 10 minutes walj from the Jiaoxi Bus station. Many nice eating places nearby and there is a night market outside the hotel. Very impressed with the clean spacious room with a big spa tub inside! We had a marvellous time at the various indoor and outdoor hot springs and my daughter enjoyed the water slide. There are also steam rooms and suanas. We had a memorable stay as we witnessed 7+ scale earthquake that night but the hotel building foundation is solid and safe. We will definitely recommend your hotel to anyone who wants to visit Yilan hot spring area!"

Our stay was absolutely wonderful—truly beyond expectations! Every little detail kept surprising us in the best way. The level of care and thoughtfulness throughout the hotel really stood out. The room amenities were exceptional, from the Dyson hair dryer to the luxurious L’Occitane products throughout. They even provided a cute little bag for us to take everything home, which was such a thoughtful touch! What made the experience even more special was the incredible team. Every staff member, from reception to the cleaning team and activity hosts, was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. There were also countless activities for children, which made it perfect for families, while still offering great options for parents to relax and enjoy themselves too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return again!

While staying here, you can use the various outdoor hot spring facilities. It's a shame the weather suddenly turned too cold, so we didn't get to use the children's facilities in the swimming pool. Even though it's a heated kids' pool, it's outdoors, so it was still quite chilly. However, there are plenty of other hot spring pools, as well as steam rooms and saunas, so you can soak from morning till night 😬. The best part was that breakfast is served until 1 PM. You can enjoy it after a morning soak in the hot springs, or sleep in a bit longer and then head down. The latest you can enjoy it is 1 PM, and then you can head off to explore other places after eating! 😍 The kids had a blast!

Third visit to the Landis Resort & Spa for a family trip! Every time, my family eagerly requests to celebrate birthdays at this wonderful place. My parents can relax in the hot springs, and the kids can happily splash around in the pool. Special thanks to the attentive hotel service and the professional lifeguards for their care. Everyone had a fantastic time! There's also a stunning beach nearby for a lovely stroll. And I highly recommend Fumei Seafood Restaurant. It was another relaxing and perfect trip! ❤️❤️

Very pleasant experience stay. The customer service was excellent, from the time we walk in with the staff open the door for us to the time we check out. The front desk staff Louis was very helpful and polite. Amenities in the room, hot spring to the spa are provided everything we needed including the dryer for the swimsuit. Private hot springs tub was Great for us who walk all day long and want to have late night hot springs experience. The hotel welcome with afternoons delivered to room. Breakfast with large variety or Japanese and ********* cuisine. Great location, near the train station and next to free public hot spring reserve

The location is fantastic, right behind Jiaoxi's bustling main street, so you can just step out and go shopping – super convenient! The complimentary afternoon tea and late-night snacks provided by the hotel also kept us well-fed. Parking was easy with free in-and-out access, and the front desk service was attentive. Overall, a very pleasant experience. The only minor drawback was that the floor-to-ceiling window in the family room's bathroom and the toilet window faced a neighboring building from the side, which slightly compromised privacy, a bit of a shame.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is well located, very close to the train, bus station, shops and restaurants, and the Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park (about 12 minutes walk). The room was spacious and had everything I needed, including preloaded movies, streaming, a huge bathtub, and a shower. The bed was so comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good. The onsen was heavenly (bring a swimsuit and swimcap if you want to partake). I wish there were more signs about opening hours for breakfast and the onsen. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The Westin Yilan Resort

1. The bathtub in the bathroom had cracks, causing the water to drain out, and the sharp edges posed a risk of cuts. 2. Whether it was a pre-booking phone inquiry or check-in communication, the customer service staff consistently used the excuse, ”Because you booked through a third-party platform...” Aren't those third-party bookings still sales made by your hotel? I've recently stayed at IHG group hotels and never experienced such differential treatment. The service quality of the Westin staff needs significant improvement. 3. There was no staff patrolling the women's nude hot spring area. Some guests brought four children who were allowed to play loudly and splash water without anyone intervening, causing discomfort to other guests.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to Jiaoxi Station, and only 3 minutes walk from the station. The only drawback is that it takes time to manually write documents. Room cards and accommodation details are only issued to guests in groups when the time is up. It is recommended to print a sheet of instructions directly for the guests, so as not to waste so much time. The price is OK, because it includes the outdoor hot spring and breakfast. The temperature of the outdoor hot spring is a little low. It was very cold when we checked in, and the outdoor hot spring was only 36 degrees. But overall it's not bad.

Even though the surroundings aren't bustling, finding food nearby or a convenience store within a three-minute walk is no problem. The hotel, though a bit old-fashioned, is well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious. The bathtub is small, but still good enough for a soak, which was comfortable. Since there weren't many guests, breakfast was changed to a set menu with four options. It looked good, was Instagram-worthy, and tasted pretty good too. You could also order more, so you could eat till you're full or just pick at things. If you book on an OTA on a low-price day, it's excellent value for money because of the many hotel amenities. I feel the management really puts in the effort.

This time, I met up with some friends in Jiaoxi for a relaxing getaway and chose to stay at the ”Jiaoxi Fukuoka Onsen Hotel”. Overall, it's a consistently clean and comfortable hotel with good reviews. If you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway with hot springs and conversation, this is a great place. I'd give it 4 stars, mainly because of the enjoyable experience, but there are a few minor areas for improvement. First, the lobby is neat and bright, and the staff are friendly, quick, and polite during check-in. While not a grand hotel, the atmosphere is reassuring and relaxing, perfect for a short trip with friends. As for the rooms, we all agreed they were very clean. The beds were comfortable, and there was enough space for everyone to put their luggage, chat, and enjoy snacks. The onsen bath in the room was a highlight; the water was smooth and the temperature was consistent, and everyone felt much more relaxed after taking turns soaking. However, the bathroom ventilation could be improved; the moisture dissipates faster in this area. We also had a lot of fun using the hotel's public facilities. The rooftop open-air bath offers a great view, making it especially relaxing to soak in the hot spring while enjoying the night view. The rest area is also clean and tidy, a perfect spot for chatting after your soak. The breakfast selection was decent, having everything you'd expect, and refreshments were frequent. The flavors were refreshing, not too oily or salty, perfect for a light morning. However, a wider selection, such as more hot dishes or specialty items, would make the experience more memorable. The location is very convenient, within walking distance of the city center, making it easy to buy drinks and find late-night snacks. In the evening, we strolled over to buy some fried chicken and ate it back in our room while chatting – a wonderful atmosphere. Overall, the ”Jiaoxi Fukuoka Onsen Hotel” is suitable for gatherings with friends and short trips. The rooms are clean, the onsen is comfortable, and the location is convenient, making it a place I would definitely want to return to. Although it's not a luxury hotel, based on our experience, everyone had a great time, and I would give it a solid four-star rating.
