Spa Hotels in Koh Chang

It is a quiet and beautiful community surrounded by the gentlest beaches of Elephant Island, where you can watch the sunset on the beach next to the restaurant, and you can watch the sunrise for a few minutes in the distance (but it will be blocked by the hills and cannot see the sunrise on the sea). The room was very comfortable, clean and intimate, and the three-bedroom villa had its own pool. Breakfast is delicious.

I don't understand why this hotel has so many good reviews, but I want to write honestly, as someone who has worked in tourism for 20 years and seen a lot. The hotel definitely doesn't live up to its category. The biggest downsides are: there's no sea, the tide is very low every day, so you definitely can't swim here, and the knee-deep water that comes in in the afternoon smells like fish, and even while you're sitting at breakfast, there's a very unpleasant fish smell. But if you want, there's a shuttle that takes you to a good beach several times a day. The pool is dirty with green water; I was snorkeling, and there were tons of hair and sand at the bottom. The water doesn't circulate. In the morning, they pour two buckets of chlorine to disinfect the pool, and then it turns blue for a short while. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable, but tired. The tiles and plumbing need replacing. There were a lot of ants and cockroaches in the room. When we reported them, a worker came to exterminate them and treat them with ant repellent. On the plus side, the room has a large TV with YouTube access, a refrigerator, a tea station, a comfortable bed, and daily cleaning and towel changes. Peacocks roam the grounds (but that's not the main reason to come here). Breakfast is modest; there's a coffee machine with real coffee, pancakes, omelets like everywhere else, sausages and ham, and fruit. There were no yogurts or cheeses, and the juices were watered down. A lot of the equipment in the gym is broken. It depends on your preference, but for me, the sea and pool are key features in a place like this, so I wouldn't go back. There are plenty of cheaper and better options on the coast.

The hotel seem a bit old but maintained pretty well, room big and mattress comfort, it has 2 swimming pools and the beach view restaurant, all staff are very polite and friendly, they’ve their own car park for the guests, convenient for the one who drove their own car or bike, great valve of money, will choose to stay when the next visit in Koh Chang

We had an amazing stay at Sylvan Koh Chang and truly enjoyed every moment. The resort is beautiful and full of little surprises. Every corner is stunning, surrounded by nature and beautiful frangipani flowers. The scent of fresh frangipani around the swimming pool was absolutely wonderful and made the whole stay feel even more special. The staff were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive. They kindly prepared a lovely towel birthday cake for my partner with fresh frangipani flowers, which was such a sweet and memorable surprise. During breakfast, we even saw a huge bird nearby, which was a unique and memorable experience. One of our most unforgettable moments was walking back along the beach at night after dinner. The sky was full of stars, and we even saw a shooting star. It felt magical and romantic. Overall, it was a wonderful stay filled with beautiful memories. We would definitely love to come back again and highly recommend this resort to couples looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway.

I booked two floors in two different villas. They contacted me in advance and warned me that one of them would be replaced, as the previous guests wanted to extend their stay. They upgraded my room to a larger apartment with a sea view, which I absolutely loved. This was my first time at Koh Chang, so I give the experience a 5++. A personal, generous KHRAPP to Uncle Seryozha and his son Vladislav, and excellent, responsive service on site. The second room also lived up to all expectations, both in location and service. We were initially skeptical about the breakfasts at 500 baht per person, but ultimately decided they were definitely worth it. A good buffet, organic coffee, and pastries. There's also a small cafe nearby. We tried it—the food was good, but the administrator said that every table was often reserved (and obviously not fully occupied, giving the impression that either the adjacent villas were prioritized or that the staff were reluctant to open). The grounds are gigantic, apparently encompassing several different resorts. It would be difficult to navigate these wonderfully landscaped grounds without a moped. The service staff helped us with this, and after check-in, they brought the scooter right to our rooms. The beaches and beach bars (Shambala in particular) with their pools were absolutely delightful. Having driven around the island, I can say that one of the best beaches was right next to my room. I'm posting views from the beach opposite Apartment 1128. I don't have any photos of the accommodations, only videos, so I'll try to cut them up and upload them later.

The hotel is great! It's a paradise! It's a treasure hotel~ Super satisfied! The location of the hotel is relatively remote, so it is relatively quiet. The bed was very large and comfortable. We did not think it was too crowded. The bedding in the room is very comfortable, and the breakfast is also good, but the variety is relatively small. We booked a room with breakfast. The next day we had breakfast and we ordered the menu. The prices of different packages are different. I wondered if we needed to make up the difference when we checked out, but there was no result. The boss and the proprietress are very nice and enthusiastic. I only blame myself for having too limited English, and they can’t talk well. The hotel has a small boat to take guests to the opposite Bangbao fishing village for dinner every day. The service is very attentive. The hotel’s dinner is also okay, except that there are few varieties, everything else is fine. The fly in the ointment is that there is no place to dry clothes. There may be monkeys coming sooner or later, so don't be too nervous to hear the movement. And there are a lot of ants on the island, especially at night. Don't be too nervous to see it.

If you come to Xiangdao to play, I highly recommend this hotel. The front desk staff and restaurant staff are very warm, the service is very good, the room is very clean, the exclusive beach view is very beautiful, and the main price is fair and reasonable.
