A large hotel that would benefit from renovation as furniture and fixtures are showing their age. Kitchen is very small and not well equipped. Breakfast is basic as is Happy Hour. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel room was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the mattresses were soft and hard enough for me to sleep well. The air conditioning in the room cooled well and the internet was stable, which fully met my daily needs. The bathroom was clean and hygienic and the quality of the toiletries was good. The taste of the food and beverage was also very good. In addition, there are many snack streets near the hotel, which is convenient for us to taste local specialities. The location of the hotel is also very convenient to the metro station and bus station. It was a great location in Miami Beach. It has a pool and I liked it all. I stayed in a dorm. The bed sheet wasn’t the cleanest but that’s the only thing to criticize.

The hotel is pretty good, conveniently located near the airport, and the interior environment is quite nice – clean and tidy. The rooms were suitable, and everyone was satisfied. The only downside, which is unavoidable, is the noise from the airplanes. Other than that, everything was great.

Overall pretty decent hotel in a great location. For the price, you get what you pay for, the room was in decent condition. The entrance definitely should be more visible as it was hard to find the place… Parking was not ideal as they suggest you park in a paid parking lot $40 a day that’s a 6 min walk from the actual hotel. The rooms were very pretty though and clean, and the service was friendly! Only complaint really is the lack of counter/storage in the ADA king bed room… there is a single sink that you would find in a powder room, with no counter or cabinets. Wasn’t too expensive especially given the close location, so would come back to this hotel. Also, I would say that I wouldn’t visit if you’re looking for a quieter stay as the walls are pretty thin and there were definitely some rowdy late night guests. Thats many places in SoBe though, so was expecting as much.

I booked it with a friend. The room is large, you can store your luggage, and the service staff is very helpful with free parking. I went there during Ultra. The room price was reasonable and it took about 20 minutes to take an Uber to the city. recommend!

Great location. Rooms are clean, spacious, air conditioned.. They allow me to do a really early check in with charge. The staff is nice, helpful and professional, specially Nathaly, such an awesome and kind person.

Staying in Penguin Hotel is very convenient since it is really closed by at the Beach and nearby outlets. However, when we were checking in the lady who assisted us didn’t explained well the informations. And every night there’s no front desk. But overall stay it’s really good the free breakfast was really good I will definitely recommend.

Review: I arrived at 7:00 AM and found no staff, no reception, and no check-in instructions. My wife and I had to wait outside until another guest happened to come out and let us in. Inside, I met someone who I thought was staff, but he was just another guest. He tried to help me contact the hotel, but no one — not even other guests — could reach the manager. There is no real lobby, just a yard. I waited three hours outside until someone finally responded. Then I was told I couldn’t check in until 3:00 PM unless I paid $100 extra. That’s way more than most hotels charge for early check-in which is about 20$. I asked for a refund so I could leave — they refused. With no choice, I left my luggage with the housekeeper (the only helpful person) and had to walk around the city with my wife for six hours before coming back. When I finally checked in, I just got a text message with a door code — no person, no welcome. The room had lots of bugs, and both of us got bitten badly overnight. There were even cockroaches in the kitchen. This is not a real hotel. It’s overpriced, poorly managed, and has no customer service. Avoid if you care about basic hospitality.
