"Location: Absolutely the best value for money right by West Lake! It's nestled within Quyuan Garden, just a few steps from West Lake. Situated by Yanggong Dyke, it's a wonderfully quiet spot. Hangzhou Botanical Garden is right opposite. Surrounded by redwoods, it feels incredibly cozy. As others have mentioned, the fish tank in the garden restaurant can be a bit noisy, but in the early mornings and evenings, it feels like West Lake is all yours. Oh! There's also self-drive boating within 200m! 30 yuan for half an hour, the most budget-friendly boating on West Lake. Facilities: It's a standalone wooden cabin, so it's a bit older. But the facilities inside are quite good. Hygiene: The bedding was very clean, which was reassuring. Service: The front desk staff were genuinely wonderful; the service from the lady at the front desk was one of the reasons we extended our stay. If you want to experience a tranquil and different side of West Lake, I genuinely, genuinely recommend this place!"

"This hotel is located within Dongmingshan Forest Park. We chose a cabin on the mountain, and each one is a stand-alone unit with a small loft. It has huge floor-to-ceiling windows, and when you open the curtains, you're greeted with a sea of green, the sound of birds chirping, and the gentle gurgle of a stream. It truly feels like stepping into a fairytale forest. There are shuttle buses for going up and down the mountain. Along the way, you'll find facilities within the forest park, such as a water play area and a forest adventure trail. If it's not too hot, walking down the mountain isn't too tiring either. Overall, it's a great escape from the world."

"The hotel is located within the scenic area, right by the lake, offering beautiful surroundings and fresh air. The service was excellent, and there were plenty of activities arranged. My best friend and I brought our kids here, and they had an absolute blast! They're already begging to come back again!"

"Aside from the excellent service, everything else was just average. First, the location is only suitable for seniors to relax and retire, but the food is a bit inconvenient. Then there's the facilities. After all, it's been a long-established establishment. A friend warned me against it, but I hit a wall. The room didn't even have a basic TV, not even a basic screen projection screen. The internet connection was completely unavailable in the top room, and I used my own data for the entire two-day stay. The room was infested with bugs and wasn't cleaned properly, with cobwebs everywhere. Dinner was a double barbecue, which was even more of a letdown. The staff clearly mentioned that many customers found the set menu too long and not worth the price, but despite numerous complaints, they didn't offer any improvements, such as smaller portions and lower prices. I ended up not eating anything! ⁽ I returned the unopened portion to the staff, and only ate what was shown in the pictures, which cost 288! ⁾ Finally, the next day's breakfast was for breakfast. With two 13-year-olds, the children's meal was definitely not suitable. A typical large wonton bowl at home usually has 15 pieces, but two of us ordered about four small wonton bowls, which came to a maximum of 20! 20 small wontons for 2 people, and the adults hadn't eaten yet, so they gave him small ones. ⁾ In the end, we were told by the staff that they didn't eat like that. We had a meal plan and were directly rejected. None of the eggs could be peeled, and neither of the two children was full. It stands to reason that with so many accommodation experiences, breakfast should be all-you-can-eat, and sufficient stock is what the hotel should provide. In the end, we still had to rely on our own snacks to eat. Why did we leave after breakfast? It also felt average, and I would not recommend it to other friends. It really needs to be avoided.
