GGuest UserEnvironment: Located within the Yunqi Bamboo Trail scenic area, the setting is truly exceptional. It's quiet and private, really wonderful. Service: There's a dedicated butler service, and they respond to messages very promptly. The hotel also has a shuttle that takes you between the hotel and where you parked, which makes getting in and out of the hotel much easier. Facilities: The in-room facilities are very thoughtful. The mattress is incredibly comfortable, and they provide two types of pillows, including a memory foam pillow, ensuring a good night's sleep. Romantic Deluxe Afternoon Tea Set for Two: The afternoon tea is exquisite, with both savory and sweet options. The grapefruit soda is delicious and very photogenic too. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but every item is fresh and tasty. The main dishes are noodle-based, with a wide variety of toppings that you can mix and match, which is great. I will definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

GGuest UserFor this May Day holiday, I chose to relax at Qiandao Lake and booked a duplex loft room. It's just a few steps from the hotel entrance, making it super convenient to come and go, and it really felt like a cozy little home. Although the price was quite steep for May Day, nearly triple the usual rate. Overall, what truly impressed us was the service attitude of all the staff – incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting us proactively. The parking guidance was also very prompt. The living environment was also satisfactory. The hotel has excellent greenery, and there were no insects flying around in the room. Even though it's on a street, once the curtains were drawn, we had great privacy and weren't disturbed. The hotel's activities and facilities are also abundant, making it perfect for families to explore and spend time together. You can easily entertain the kids without even leaving the premises. The landscaping and environment of the hotel itself are also a highlight. Dining at the buffet breakfast felt like being immersed in a lush green field, which was very pleasant and relaxing. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. I do have one small suggestion: it would be a big plus if the bathroom on the first floor of the loft had a ventilation system, as sometimes there's a lot of standing water after showering. Many thanks to our butler, Coco, for her timely responses and solutions to our questions, always and everywhere. Communication was very smooth, which made our stay here much more reassuring.

GGuest UserPretty good, this is my third time here. Service: I'd like to praise the service. Environment: Quite good. Cleanliness: Very good. [Please note: The emoji-filled section seems like a meme or an expression of intense emotion rather than a literal review. I've omitted a direct translation of that part as it doesn't convey practical information about the hotel in English and would appear out of place in a review.]

AAnonymous UserOverall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved. The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore. The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition. Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day. Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit. Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest. Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority. Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small. Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable. The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those. Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard.

GGuest UserThe weather has been very good recently. I took advantage of the end of the holiday to bring my family to Tonglu. The hotel environment is great with mountains and water, and the view from the room is also top-notch. The hotel's public area is very large, occupying a hilltop. The children had a lot of fun playing on the lawn. There are also cafes, gyms and swimming pools so they won't be bored. The next day I went to OMG Heartbeat Park, which is not far from the hotel by car for about 20 minutes. I recommend it.

GGuest UserWe chose this hotel primarily for its promise of a secluded, nature-connected experience and its on-site hot springs—a perfect antidote to busy city life. The room was warm, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The best feature was the house's layout—separated from others, it felt private, secluded, and truly integrated with the natural surroundings. It was the peaceful haven we needed. The hotel territory is vast and beautifully maintained, perfect for calming walks. The dining experience was excellent: the food was tasty, presented in a clean environment, and offered a satisfying variety. Unfortunately, the main attraction became a source of stress. The culture of quiet, therapeutic relaxation expected at a hot spring was completely absent. The most visitors were behaving like they are in a public swimming pool, with yelling and kids jumping, splashing, and running around. This chaotic atmosphere made it impossible to relax or enjoy the springs' intended benefits. It felt like a disaster for anyone seeking the tranquil, restorative experience hot springs are known for. Despite the hot springs issue, our overall stay was very nice, thanks to the superb room, excellent food, and beautiful grounds. The core product—the accommodation—is outstanding. I will definitely return, but I will plan my visit for a much less busy period (perhaps weekdays or off-holidays). If you are seeking solitude and quiet, I highly recommend the rooms but advise cautious timing for the hot springs. This place has all the ingredients for a perfect retreat; you just need to find the right moment to enjoy them fully.

GGuest UserAs a fellow countryman, this is the best-serviced relaxation and wellness place I've ever been to. Most importantly, the owner is the best owner I've ever met—a truly kind and supportive person. There's a fireplace area, fishing facilities, and even a private hot spring. The location is a bit secluded, but offers mountain and water views, making it perfect for those who appreciate tranquility. There are also facilities for children at the entrance. I haven't reviewed the facilities in a long time. I'll definitely come back. Most other hotels are about the experience, but here it's about the service. There's a supermarket about 1 kilometer away. Today there was a minor water outage, and the owner brought me hot water. Honestly, it's hard to find an owner like him again. The only downside might be the quietness, but it perfectly suits my mood. I'll definitely be back!

__M1362186****I read a lot of negative reviews before coming, so my expectations weren't very high. Naturally, every experience and feeling exceeded them. First, regarding the complaints about poor hygiene and facilities, I didn't experience that at all. The room had both air conditioning and underfloor heating, so it was very warm as soon as I entered. Everywhere I went was also very clean (perhaps because Phase 3 is newer). I also didn't find the service to be poor; in fact, I felt that every staff member I encountered was very polite. As for the hot springs, the pools in Phases 2 and 3 are a bit spread out and require a shuttle bus. Aside from the most popular influencer-heavy pool, the water quality in the other pools was quite good. Objective issues: We arrived late for dinner and could only be seated in the outdoor makeshift dining area. Although there were heaters and windbreaks, it couldn't be fully enclosed, and with a slight breeze in January, it still felt a bit chilly. (Our breakfast and dinner were buffets included in the package, and the food was really mediocre. If it's not part of your package, I wouldn't recommend paying for it; there are many restaurants nearby.) Also, walking between the hot springs can be quite cold (even though the shuttle buses have curtains). Overall, my family was very satisfied, and I hope to have such a good experience again next time.

GGuest UserThe room was okay. We brought our cat and paid an extra 260/day for pet cleaning, which was 520 for two nights. However, the cleaning lady only spent less than 10 minutes cleaning (we stayed with her as we didn't want our cat to be scared). That was acceptable. The worst part was the breakfast. Not only was there hardly anything to choose from, but when I asked a slightly chubby waitress to make me a coffee (the coffee machine was incredibly slow, and I had been queuing with my food for over 10 minutes. When it was finally my turn, the machine showed an error and needed cleaning, so I asked the waitress to bring an Americano to my table), she told me she was too busy to help. At that point, I just threw my plate down and walked away. The service was absolutely terrible. And the so-called 'infinity pool' looked out onto barren land. I really do not recommend this place at all. The breakfast service staff were just awful.

GGuest UserOverall stay was nice in the hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast had many western and Chinese options, which were good. Our package included indoor hot-spring experience which was suitable considering the cold weather outside. Only disappointment was 'Nausicaa of the Wind Tour Ticket' which was included in the package while booking from trip.com. In trip.com under package details it was mentioned that it was a scenic stop/park and we thought entry to that place is free but additional rides are payable. This information was absolutely misleading as after wasting lot of time, the information we received (after calling the provided contact number, talking with Hotel staff) was 'Nausicaa of the Wind Tour Ticket' was not located in or nearby the hotel but was in a totally far-off place. No clear information was provided by calling the contact number on how to use the offer as mentioned in trip.com booked package description. Either trip.com should remove that offer or provide a clear description about the location of that place, with pictures if possible, otherwise people will feel lucrative about the offer and go for the booking which actually is misleading.
