"pod was clean and decently comfy, yes the mattress is abit thin but it was still alright! noise level was minimum apart from the guy in the pod below snoring one night.. but if you are a light sleeper hostels arent for you anyways! toilets were amazing, i loved that there was a combined toilet+shower which felt very private 🙏🏻 mirror in the pod was really useful too. would 100% go back 👍🏻"

"Heart of Gold Hostel Berlin was extremely easy to find upon my arrival to Berlin Station. Immediately upon entering I could tell that this hostel had a certain kind of relaxed vibe to it. Not bad. If you arrive early and want to lock your bags but don't own a lock, you can rent one for a 10€ deposit. Check-in also requires a 10€ deposit. Both can be paid woth cash or card but when they return it upon departure, they will only give it back as cash. I was assigned a capsule on the first level and first thing I encountered was a guy walking in hit Itty bitty skivvies. Um, ok I guess. Again, relaxed vibe. The capsule was okay only with the door open. Close it ans it's like you're in a coffin. Hot, hot, hot, and very little air circulation. I brought that to the attention of thr front desk staff and later a guy told me that ”the motor is running” so the fan is working. I took video... the motor may be heard but it def was not working. Felt like I was sweating buckets on night 2. Glad I didn't stay an extra night. Bathroom were relatively clean, byr toilet paper was not always installed. Also, ask for a towel if needed b'c it's not automatically offered. Breakfast is 10€ and was mainly vegan. Was not worth the cost imo. Anyhow... most staff were chill. Just don't like the low effort that was put in for checking about the fan in my capsule. There is no point in booking a capsule if you need to keep the door to it open to breathe. Anyhow... of that issue was fixed, I would stay again."

"Wonderful hotel with great rooms, very stylish and good facilities. The breakfast is great, in the evening there is a DJ in the courtyard and the service and attentiveness of the staff is very good. The Stue is fully recommended and we would be happy to come back next time we are in Berlin."

"Everything was perfect. The room was exceptionally laid out, with high-quality design elements, the bed was very comfortable, a little too small for us, the restaurant next door was super good, we ate there twice. We had a deluxe room with a balcony on the 4th floor, breakfast included. Overall, we were very satisfied."

"What a great hotel! Staying in the first 2 months after opening has always been a risky endeavor in our travels, but the Hotel Luc has knocked it out of the park. Incredible service, beautiful artwork, delicious food - everything was perfectly executed to give us a great 3-night stay. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. I also had a great view of the neighboring square. The attached restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner with fresh local food and great service. A champagne check-in always sets the right tone, and from there, every interaction with every staff member was fun, engaging, and helpful. They went above and beyond to the point where you start to feel a bit guilty as if you don’t deserve to be spoiled this way. But hey, who can complain about feeling like a Queen or a King for a few days! Would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel service was excellent. We received our room card immediately upon arrival, turns out the front desk staff had prepared it for us in advance. The room came with a double breakfast, which was great value for money, and the breakfast spread was quite generous. The room itself was clean and spacious, definitely not cramped for two people, and it was cleaned daily. The hotel is conveniently located near a pedestrian street and shopping mall, making it easy to go shopping. There are plenty of dining options, so you won't have to worry about finding food. Getting to tourist attractions by taxi from the hotel's location is also very convenient. The price is definitely justified by this location."
