"Unfortunately, the pool was closed and the sauna was required to login and the sauna area was able to use just 1 hour. The opening hours of the sauna from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekends are absolutely unacceptable for such a luxury hotel. We were very angry about it. When booking we have not received any information about the time in the spa is so regulated and it is completely closed in the pool area. At the reception, we received information that the pool was closed due to energy saving measures and also lacked staff. We believe that then the overnight prices must be adjusted accordingly if a significant part of the services cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy our stay as we intended!"

"We booked this hotel in advance for our Bruno Mars concert at The Olympiastadion and to explore the City of Berlin. The location is amazing for couples, solo travelers and families. Everything is at walking distance, and there is always bikes available to rent. Using the bike every monument, restaurant and shopping mall was reachable in 15 minutes. I also was pleased that during our stay they put the World Cup on the big screen, was a lot of fun. Definitly worth its price!"

"The hotel's decor and facilities feel a bit dated, giving it the vibe of an old local establishment. The room was very spacious, more than enough for two people, and the bathroom was also large, though the sink was quite high – perhaps for taller Europeans. There's complimentary water in the room, but it's only replenished when the room is serviced. You need to hang the 'Please Clean' sign on the door if you want housekeeping. We stayed for 4 nights and our room was only cleaned twice, providing only two bottles of water, as we didn't realize we had to hang the sign for cleaning. The hotel has convenient parking for 30 Euros/day. The front desk service was excellent, very warm and attentive, and communication in English was easy. The hotel's location is superb, with an Asian supermarket, Chinese restaurants, local eateries, and Italian restaurants nearby, along with many shopping malls and a 24-hour McDonald's. There was also a Christmas market. It's not far from attractions; a 9.5 km walk will get you to the TV Tower, Museum Island, etc. Driving is also an option, but parking near the attractions is difficult. Overall, I'm very satisfied!"

"1. Housekeeper did not make up room for the first night (out of theee nights) despite “please make up room” displayed on room door. 2. Hotel only provides one bottled water per stay, instead of per night or at customers’ request (normally expected at true 5 stars hotels so this hotel is 4 stars at best because of this). 3. Hotel staff’s attitude is not 5 stars standard. Upon checking in, my room’s air con was not working. I called the front desk, the staff simply asked me to double check if the window is fully closed which I did but the air con still didn’t work. I called for the second time, hotel staff just asked me to try closing the window with force. And only when I called the third time, they sent someone to assist me in the room. At the end, we had to change to a new room as the old room’s air con was broken down. I would expect immediate in-room assistance at true five stars hotels."

"The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin ⭐ 9/10 💰 Value for money: 10/10 A refined luxury hotel in an exceptional Potsdamer Platz location. The rooms are generously sized at approximately 40 sqm, perfectly proportioned, with an interior executed to near perfection. The atmosphere is calm and composed, and the service is polished, discreet, and highly professional. Luxury hospitality is ultimately remembered less by rules than by judgment and generosity. When pricing or policies feel disproportionate, the moment lingers longer than the gesture itself—and guests inevitably carry that memory forward. A more flexible approach would have elevated an otherwise outstanding experience. An exceptional hotel overall, offering remarkable value within its category."

"Great location! It's within walking distance to Humboldt University and several historical museums, plus there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The scenery is beautiful. I love Germany, and I love Berlin!"

"🗺️Location: It's a short taxi ride from the main train station, and the surrounding area is quite nice. It's close to the zoo and there are gift shops nearby. The Greek restaurant across the street is good for drinks, but I wouldn't recommend it for dinner. 🗣️Noise: We didn't hear any noise in the room. ❣️They provide disposable slippers!"

"Let's start with the positives: The location is excellent, right next to the U2 subway station and very close to the U6. If you have the Berlin WelcomeCard, getting around by subway and bus is super convenient and saves you a lot of walking. There's a Rewe supermarket across the street with a great selection of food, and their salad bar and hot food counter are both excellent. Now for the negatives: The staff were arrogant and rude. I waited in line to check in for almost 20 minutes when a white man just walked up and stood next to the queue, not bothering to line up. After the person in front of me finished, I walked up to the front desk with him. He said the balding male staff member at the desk had called him over. I told the male receptionist that everyone was queuing and should be served in order, but he insisted he had called that specific white man. At this point, another front desk was free, so I didn't argue and moved to that one. This is where it got even more interesting. When I tried to pay the deposit in cash, the female receptionist said they don't accept cash. Isn't it illegal in any country to refuse legal tender? And who says everyone has a credit card? I didn't want any trouble, so I pulled out my credit card, but for some reason, it wouldn't go through. Finally, this female receptionist said her colleague could accept cash, and indeed, the colleague came over and took the money. But if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't have even given me a receipt. For a hotel costing over 2,000 euros a night, they don't provide bottled water unless you're a Hilton Silver member or higher. The coffee is also terrible instant coffee, the worst among the four hotels I stayed at on this Europe trip. The facilities are old but reasonably well-maintained. In short, besides the location, there are no redeeming qualities."

"Absolutely amazing hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and professional. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is wonderful, and every detail makes the stay special. It was a pleasure to spend time here, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great hotel experience!"

"God lokation but, you need transport if you don't want to walk 7 km to inner city  Hotel is nice and clean  If your with car, finding carpark is not easy, ( just use the car parking beside the hotel) Great breakfast  Clean rooms  Will recommend also for families indeed."
