"I was attending a conference in Berlin and stayed at the Adlon Kempinski Hotel, adjacent to the Brandenburg Gate, close to the Reichstag Building, and not too far from the Victory Column. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room is not too big and relatively compact, but the facilities are complete, the bedding is excellent, and you can have a good rest. The breakfast conditions are very good, with complete dishes, rich fruits and elegant environment."

"The hotel was generally nice, given its price and location, but the stuff on the reception was quite rude at the day of our check-in — it was really uncomfortable to communicate with a person who looked forward to shortchange us, because previously in our communication with the hotel there was one price for early check-in, while at the counter it actually doubled. And, obviously, we got a room with not such a nice view as could be seen in the hotel’s photos — just lots of rooftops. Overall, the stuff was unprofessional, despite a gentleman at the check-out was pretty welcoming. About the other points, the cleaning was great, there was a huge bed and a nice bathtub. However, what was confusing is the fact that AC did not work either at the whole time of our stay, which is a common problem, judging by the reviews. Breakfast was good, a wide variety of options, including vegetarian ones."

"First time trying the steingeberger brand hotel - the service standard turns out to be better than the other international brand hotels. Location is just a stone’s throw away from Berlin hbf, super convenient. Greeted with a smile at check-in, huge lobby area. Room is much bigger than most Germany hotels, clean, comfortable, heated bathroom flooring. Provide bathroom robes. Would be even more ideal if the hotel is able to provide water daily instead of just day 1."

"The room was spacious, and the large bed was perfect for our baby and us. It was also kept very clean. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to both the subway and S-Bahn. Overall, we were quite satisfied. However, we accidentally left our baby's sleeping bag at the hotel. When we called to inquire, the front desk had no record of it in their lost and found, which was quite puzzling. Aside from that, we were happy with almost everything. I'd rate it 4.5 stars."

"I travel around often and I sleep in hotels many nights a year, I had never experienced the situation that I had when I arrived at the Hilton Berlin. I had booked, and paid for a ‘Twin Room with Dome View’ about 4 months before the trip. Upon check-in, I was automatically assigned a room that was not twin nor Dome View (you can see the view in the pictures below); I went back to reception twice, to complain that this was not the room I had booked, the hotel staff was most unhelpful, they didn’t allow me to speak with the manager, nor did they provided any solution or any sort of compensation, their answer simply was that the hotel was booked up and that there was nothing they could do. This was wrong for different reasons, first they assigned me a room that only had one bed, secondly they didn’t provide any solution other than adding a little roller bed to the room, third they didn’t allow me to speak with the manager. I am very disappointed, these sort of experiences do not belong to a hotel chain like Hilton. This unfortunate incident tainted my stay at the hotel. I hope this review gets somehow to someone at Hilton and does something to avoid any further guests having a similar experience. Furthermore, the sauna facilities was apparently not part of the room rate (this was not mentioned whatsoever) and when I checked out I found that I had to pay for every single time I used the sauna."

"I love everything about this hotel. This is real 5-stars hotel. The services, and the room are very nice. Only one thing I dont like is the hair dryer. If you change the hair dryer, it would be flawless stay."

"A standard old money style hotel with rich breakfast and good quality. The hotel is opposite the transportation hub and is convenient to go anywhere. It is not far from Kudan Street and is convenient for eating and shopping."
